We purchased an Optiq from Pepe and it was a very good experience. The test drive experience was great and the purchase part was very easy. It's so funny these days, it takes more time to explain how to use the car (connecting your phone, setting up profiles, learning the tech, etc) that it does to sign the paperwork. Our sales rep, Juan, was great in helping us get everything configured. We also subsequently purchased a charger through the dealership and that was an easy experience and the parts guy was helpful in making sure we got the best GM discount on the charger. It's really great that this place is so close to the White Plains train station....if you need to drop off your car, you can get the Metro North very easily. It's not even a five minute walk. We love the car and we enjoyed the experience. My only wish is that they had more customer parking. read more

I bought a Cadillac Escalade from them in 2022. I hadn't even had the vehicle for 2 months, and a tire went bad. They told me they didn't have a warranty on it. Turns out, even though it had 150,000 miles and was 3 years old, I still had to pay $375 for this tire. Then, with 48,000 miles, Jason told me I didn't have a warranty on a satellite dish. They tried to tell me I didn't have a warranty when I was 100% sure I did. I went to another dealer, and they helped me, resolved the issue, and didn't even ask me about the warranty because they already knew I had it in Cadillac's internal system. This speaks very poorly of the services offered at Pepe Cadillac, because they tried to charge me for something I'd already paid for. I once had an oil change, and they left the filter loose and leaking (a dangerous thing because it can damage your engine). Today I went for an engine recall and to replace a faulty front axle. When I called to request a ride from my house to the dealer, no one answered the service department for over two hours. It turns out they gave me an appointment for 9 a.m. I requested a ride home because it would take much less time than 20 minutes. The ride arrived at almost 11 a.m. I requested a return ride for 2:30 p.m., and it's almost 3 p.m., and none of them answered or did anything to resolve the issue. I recently extended my warranty with them paying almost 7 thousand dollars extra with them (PEPE CADILLAC) and now my car is subject to waiting because Mr. Bryant is still waiting for the warranty and approval papers since this morning, and this is an office that is in the same building and that he with Mr. Frank can acquire immediately by walking 10 steps and telling me that he needs insurance approval seeing the extended warranty in the contract, so successively they spend hours and hours without giving you the attention to customers in general as it is due and deserved by each client. Once I tried to get the transmission oil changed that is included in the service package twice and Mr. Bald assured me that he did not have that service package. I had to show him my papers 9 times and ask them what they sold me and what these papers said. I don't know what Ron Bald is doing in that office if he doesn't even know what his own company He sells to customers. It turns out that on the front of the service package folder, the first thing it said was two transmission oil changes included, and he wanted to forcefully charge me, having Michael tell me it wasn't included, not honoring a service I'd already paid for. Just like the time with the antenna, Jasson, his star employee, told me I didn't have coverage at 48,000 miles a year and a half ago. This is looking worse and worse. When I got there the lady refused to let me use one of the public chargers. I explained my medical emergency and still did not care. I called charge point and they confirmed that they are public and they cannot refuse to allow you to use one. But they do! Don't buy a car from Pepe Cadillac! They treated me terribly. I always serviced my Escalade in White Plains, never went anywhere else. At 84,000 miles, the motor dies, for NO REASON. Cadillac took no responsibility, told me "things happen." Cars that are treated properly shouldn't have a motor completely fail. Cadillac wanted to charge me $10,000 for a new motor without labor, no loaner, and wait months. Headquarters listened, claimed they would call you back, never did and didn't care at all. I purchased my 2014 SRX from Pepe with an extended warranty. Two major problems have occurred only 3 years later that they refused to cover. Their reasons for not covering have been pathetic. I feel I have been taken advantage of and plan on pursuing legal action 1. Headlights had water leaking inside which caused a horribly unsafe situation where I could not drive at night. When I brought the car to Pepe to be serviced, they told me there had been a class action law suit suing GM for the faulty lights but I had missed the deadline. THEY NEVER EMAILED ME OR SENT ME ANYTHING TO TELL ME THERE WAS A LAWSUIT. How was I supposed to know? Plus they were not covered under the warranty apparently. So $1800 out of pocket 2. I brought to Pepe 3 months ago for above headlight job and also got the oil change. They did their multi point inspection. Now, 3 months later, I was having major transmission issue so I brought to Pepe. Remember I have a warranty...they tell me transmission isn't covered because I did not have transmission fluid checked so insurance adjuster (through warranty) isn't covering. What??? They verified when I set the appointment that the trailer hitch would be in stock when the appointment was set. I asked how long it would take and was told approximately 4-5 hours. They couldn't give me a price, but promised someone would call and give me a quote later. No one called. I called back a couple days later and asked for the cost, again promised that someone would call. I confirmed at that time that the appointment was still set for today, June 2nd, and that everything would be available. They confirmed that everything was in place and told me again that they couldn't give me a quote, but that someone would call me. No one called again. I called a third time several days later. Same thing happened, a promised call back that never happened. Finally, I show up today for the appointment. Not only did they NOT have the trailer hitch in stock, but also they told me that the car detail would require that the car stay overnight. Something that is exactly NOT what I was told before, even though I asked multiple times. I went to this dealership today with the serious intention of purchasing a Cadillac Escalade. The first issue was that there was absolutely no customer parking- strike 1. After parking across the street at a meter, I went into the showroom. The receptionist was busy and I started to look at the vehicles which were all locked due to Covid, I assume. After 10 minutes the receptionist noticed me and asked if I needed help. I said yes and she called a sales person. "Jack" came over and introduced himself while simultaneously telling me that he was about to leave and deliver a vehicle, strike 2. Why even come over if you are leaving? I told him I was interested in an Escalade and he said they had little inventory due to the shortage of chips. He said that they had one Escalade on site with a few more coming in, some that were spoken for. He obviously wanted to get away from me, as he was not interested in dealing with me. Strike 3. I asked when I could get a car if I ordered one. He told me 6-8 months, which made no sense since the 2022 models would be arriving by September or October which is only 2-3 months away. I was annoyed at this point for several reasons and said that this was a car dealership without cars to which "Jack" replied "I'm sorry that I was not invited to the Cadillac board meeting for that decision." I don't even know where to begin. I will say I wish I never did business with this place. I feel nickel and dimed after the fact and seeing that certain things occurred afterwards and at sale closing. There were red flags like attitude I received when the agreed upon price which was only a few hundred dollars short was not reflected on the final paperwork. Highly unprofessional behavior by the sales manager towords me-he stormed out of the room like a child and basically ignored my request and the financial guy agreed it was ridiculous and fixed the issue. I assume part of the issue was that I am a woman-he made off color comments about placating me with female trinkets in lieu of honoring a nominal price adjustment before he stormed out without addressing me in regards. When I received the car certain agreed items that were supposed to be taken care of were not. Mind you I sat here for 5 to 6 hours to complete a transaction that was supposed to take 2 as I was told. Tints that were on the vehicle at sale were removed without my knowledge or consent as I "waited for paperwork". Ridiculous. I don't really care what the law is-you remove those tints on your time, not mine. Maybe don't sell a car that has illegal tints then and pawn off on a buyer your failure to prepare. I had to take time from my schedule and return the vehicle at later date for said item to be repaired. Why? Why was this not taken care of as agreed and perhaps I could have returned another day to pick up the car? Was it that important to push this out the door that day? I suppose it was. By the end of this ordeal, I was left alone in a dark parking lot at a closed dealership because this circus had taken so long to complete. Trade in-I was assured that I was given a fair rate for my used auto-it was then listed within a day for double the price. While I am sure that was not what was paid for it, wow. Just wow. Mind you this car received no work to it and was basically in mint condition. I understand businesses need to make a profit but that's excessive and insulting. Financing-I was told I received the best interest rate on my loan-I hardly believe an 800 credit rating calls for a 5.6 percent loan. That's ok guy, I paid it off already. So you missed out on the money you made off the interest. Wasn't told until later that they had selected some fly by night no name bank in Ohio, either with no branches anywhere on the east coast. Is this how you treat people spending upwards of 100k in your place? If I purchased a new Denali with extended warranty are you signing loans like this? Even the bank said this interest rate was higher than usual (even for a mid level credit rating-remember mine is high) and selected in order to make additional money for THE DEALERSHIP. Remind yourselves that there's maintenance, parts, body work...even building relationships for future sales/upgrades. That's all profit on top of what you are making off that car. It's not all about that initial sale. Building relationships is not a strong point I feel is stressed with this sales team. Are these guys screening Boiler Room on their lunch hour here or what? My bad for assuming I would not be taken advantage of and not reading the fine print. I feel I placed trust in the wrong hands. Probably my fault for expecting to be treated fairly by a car dealership, but I never had any issues before elsewhere. I thought I would be taken care of FAIRLY given the reputation of the business. I think for karmic reasons I will be trading this car in within the year or selling it and certainly not getting another vehicle from any Pepe Dealership. The car is beautiful (I returned for the promised repair and got the windows retinted) but I certainly did not need to be put through the ringer for it, financially or mentally. A lesson here I have unfortunately hard learned...I am actually embarrassed at this entire situation. Make sure they take you out to dinner first if you come in here if you catch my drift. read more

I live in Long Island, about 1hour 30mins from this place. I traveled here because they had a great deal, good ratings so why not? We spoke to them about a specific car and put a deposit on the phone for the car. We went to go pick it up on Saturday from these guys. It was perfectly fine seems great, clean car fax seemed to drive perfectly fine. So drove it home no issues nothing out of the ordinary. The very NEXT day there was a check engine light. Now that's weird. So emailed them they responded a few hours later. Now mind you we live an hour and half away, so they said we need to bring it. So we also let them know this is a very big inconvenience for us since we have to drive far, waste gas and pay for tolls and on top of that I have to take a day off from work. The salesman, Harold said we will be in and out, we will be priority when we get here. It should not take more then an hour. THEN he had the nerve to say it is NOT considered an inconvenience and made all this bs up why it's not. Before this incident I would have gave them a 5 stars but after this INCONVENIENCE and lack of professionalism I would not give them more then 1. Also, just so your aware him saying we are "priority" and we'll be in and out in one hour was a just flat out lie. I told the service guy that our salesman said it would take less then an hour. He replied with "He doesn't know what he is talking about, it will take a couple of hours." I was sitting there for over 7 hours. Literally 7 hours. Plus the 3 hours for commute (1.5hrs each way). So total was 10 hours To deal with this nonsense which in the salesman, Harold words was "technically not an inconvenience for us". Horrible experience. Will not recommend ever. John never rushed us --- and we felt like we were in excellent hands. We actually stopped by there last Thursday and spoke with a really nice salesman (unfortunately, we forgot his name). When we walked in, Frank greeted us and introduced us to Harold (another salesman). From looking for a CPO, Harold and Frank showed us a 2018 Escalade ESV. Though it didn't have a couple of things we were looking for, they gave us an offer and accepted. Dealing with Harold and Frank was a pleasure. I rarely take the time to write reviews but I felt that the service I received from Ron the head of service at Pepe cadillac more than deserves my time. I had an issue with my Escalade while traveling in Gainesville florida. The gear shift became stuck and would not shift. The truck had to be towed to a dealer. Once at the dealer they told me I would have to pay $1200 to have it fixed even though it was still under warranty. They would not budge. Given the great level of service I had always received by Ron and his team I thought I would check to see what he thought of the situation. Ron told me it should definitely be covered under warranty and he would speak to the dealership and not to worry. Long story short Ron took care of the situation and me very well. The truck was fixed he had the dealership reimburse me for my rental car and deliver the truck 250 miles to where I was since the repair took a week because parts had to be ordered free of charge with trip interruption protection. Ron's treatment convinced me to purchase my Escalade of my lease this coming July. White plains is the best!! read more

3 Strikes for Poor Service I purchased my CTS here and took it back for service several times, but never again. The first time I took my CTS in for clicking noises. They couldn't hear what I was hearing and said the car was fine. I happened to be in Long Island for business and stopped at North Bay Cadillac and they found the trouble. The steering rack had to be replaced. A $1200 job covered under warrantee with only days to spare. Recently took the car in for a routine oil change and the dealer said the car had lights on the dash:Stabilizer off, ABS off, Traction Control off. Left the car there for 2 hours and they said I needed to make an appointment to have the car checked since they didn't have enough time to diagnose the trouble. They needed an additional 3 hours for diagnostics $140. I took the car to my local shop and received diagnostics in 30 minutes with an estimate for a fix. The cost for diagnostics $45 which they could appy to the job. I called Pepe to find out how much it would cost to replace the Rear hub assemby with bearings and received a similar quote. I took the car back in to Pepe and they said they will check the diagnostics to verify my local shop. After 5 hours they sent me a quote for the repair, same diagnostics, same repair. The cost of the repair jumped to $1100 from $700 their initial estimate. Of course I took the car back to my local shop where they fixed the problem in 3 hours for $585. The lights are all gone and the car is back to normal. This experience has taught me never to take my car back to Pepe for anything. 4 hours of labor for $560 while the local guy can do it in 3 hrs for $235. Just shows Pepe's mechanics _uck. Can't diagnose _hit and can't fix _hit. Sorry my S key is stuck. Never ever going back to Pepe Cadillac for anything. read more

I was told I can get a loaner when I showed up they said I couldn't have one because my company name was on the insurance and not my name. I showed them insurance with my name on it but it wasn't good enough. I was told they were short on loaners but in the parking lot they had 3 cars just sitting there. Shady place and shady people don't trust them!!!! After driving to another Cadillac dealership outside Philly, where the sales rep wouldnt even counter my first offer on my first choice, I drove 3 hours to Pepe to meet Frank about my second choice. Turns out, however, the car we had been discussing sold earlier that day (Frank didn't know). While I was unhappy (to say the least) Frank went out of his way to set me up with another (much better) CPO at a great price.
