    Buyer beware! I am…read moreextremely upset with WP Honda for their complete lack of transparency and flexibility. If you live in the NYC area, strongly reconsider buying a Honda. I purchased a 2026 Honda CR-V Sport Touring on September 1, and by September 16 it was stolen. Although it was recovered through the Honda app, many of the hybrid components were damaged or stripped. I came across a Honda Product Improvement Bulletin stating that "thieves are forcing entry into these vehicles using a commercially available tool to reprogram the vehicle's ignition system and then start and operate the vehicle, all without the original key fob." In other words, these vehicles can be accessed and started without the key, using a phone app. This is critical information that buyers deserve to know. The note discusses it as a 2023- 25, but clearly is still a problem given how easily my car was stolen. WP Honda claimed they were unaware that this model is highly targeted for theft -- something even a basic Google search makes clear. The tow truck company and rental agency both confirmed that Hondas are among the most frequently stolen vehicles. This ordeal cost me nearly $10,000 between my trade-in and down payment. WP Honda refused to work with me or consider taking the car back. I ultimately traded in the CR-V, and my only regret is buying it in the first place. The stress, financial loss, and lack of accountability made this a terrible experience.

I was in the area waiting for a call from my service personnel and never received one. He said he called me twice and left a voicemail and assumed that I declined whatever tire work that needed to be done. But I never got the calls and never got the voicemail. Besides that, I drove home and the next morning, my car would not start. Called AAA and they had to come jump the battery. The battery cap was open, it was clearly drained during the service and clearly jumped by the dealership, but no one communicated that to me. Given that I drive a hybrid, and it was a short distance home, I never had the chance to charge up the battery. This led to a delay in going to work the next morning. Both experiences unfortunately led to an unpleasant impression and I am not sure who to reach out to for such concerns. I feel like customers should be communicated to when their battery is drained during service knowing that it's a hybrid vehicle.

I renewed my lease and took delivery of a new vehicle on December 22, 2025. All required payments for the new vehicle were made at that time. However, on January 1, 2026, I was incorrectly charged $699 for my previous lease, in addition to payments for the new vehicle. Additionally, I have not been reimbursed for the unused portion of my prior lease covering December 22-December 31, 2025, which totals approximately $202. I contacted the dealership nearly two weeks ago regarding this issue. My salesperson, Fabio, advised that the team was "figuring out" the reimbursement. Since then, I have received no updates, no reimbursement, and no ETA. I attempted to follow up today, but the finance manager was unavailable and did not return my call. It is extremely disappointing that the dealership is very responsive when selling a vehicle, yet unresponsive when a customer is owed money. This matter should have been resolved promptly.

Focussing on my most recent purchase, which was a 2023 C300 with a trade in on the 2012 C300 purchased at this dealership, I worked with Amir. He went way above and beyond to accommodate the transaction, which was directly before Thanksgiving! His communication and flexibility was truly remarkable, and never once did I feel pressured. I now consider Amir to be both a trusted liaison at this dealership, but also a friend! Thank you so much Amir! Every other staff member is fantastic including Joli at the front desk, John who processed my paperwork for the final transaction in a super efficient manor, and of course Jesus, who acclimated me with this new model 2023 C300. As you can imagine, there is "just a tiny bit" of a learning curve -- to say the least! There is no other place I will go when it's time for the next one, but I trust this dealership endlessly and would recommend them to everyone and everyone. This wasn't the agreement that we signed when we purchased the car and if they can change the policy and not offer any remediations or support for an alternative, then they don't keep their word in valuing customers and whatever you sign on the contract can be voided whenever they feel like it. We didn't move to another state and didn't even change our address. They also confirmed my appointment and let me schedule it weeks ago without letting us know that this is an issue until a few days before our scheduled appointment, which gives us minimal time to find an alternative, which they didn't even try to help find. I would caution new buyers if this is the case which pains me to say because I really loved Genesis of White Plains and felt that the service by Lorenzo and Roberto was exemplary of what high quality care look like as I emphasized in my original review. I hope this issue can be resolved amicably and they Genesis of White Plains can restore their reputation of being one of the best Genesis dealership in all of New York. Original review 2023 -The entire process from initial consultation to signing the finalized documentations went smoothly and seamlessly. Working alongside Lorenzo and Clinton was pleasant, for both of them were friendly, warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared to try to give us the best deal possible. The dealership provided a welcoming vibe filled with elegance, class, and comfort, which allowed customers to feel valued and made the shopping/browsing experience smooth yet classy. Lorenzo's investment in our purchase is genuine and shows all the effort he put into making sure we got all the answers to our questions and that we were comfortable/happy with our purchase. He even provided us with reassurance regarding the various servicing that they provide for our purchase should there be any issues that arise, which was very comforting and eased all of our anxieties as a buyer. Genesis of White Plains also charges a lot less in fees compared to dealerships in New Jersey, which saved my wife and I more than 500 in fees. Some Genesis dealership lacked elegance in their aesthetics, but Genesis of White Plains definitely provides a lot of elegance and class in its presentation and shopping experience. He said he couldn't locate it and just ask Genesis Finance for their copy. I did and was shocked. The dealership sent GF a copy with forged signatures, adding a $1,000 appearance package and a $300 purchase option fee. I finally located the original contract. Of course , those two charges were not on the original. I would never have known about this if I hadn't asked GF fora copy. I confronted the dealership and they sent a check for $1,000 with no apology. Don't know what else was falsified on the lease. Don't understand the "rent charge" of $5,827.87. Will now have to deal with the hassle of the purchase option fee if I buy the car. The car is terrific. The original contract says zero. Salesman was fine but dealership was not.

I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2022 Lincoln Navigator from White Plains Lincoln online, and the vehicle arrived in Texas with body damage and torn upholstery that were not visible in the listing photos or disclosed prior to purchase. The photos appear to be taken in a service bay with low lighting and angles that make it difficult to see the condition of the bumpers, running boards, and other lower parts of the vehicle. The vehicle I received has clear impact damage, including dented and scratched bumper panels with separation between the bumper and wheel well, scratched and dented running boards, a dent in the lower portion of the driver door, a cracked windshield (not visible in listing photos but documented in the shipper's pickup photos and report), and severely torn passenger seat upholstery (not shown in any listing photos or disclosed). This is not consistent with the standard I expected from a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle that I paid a premium for, especially purchasing it across the country without seeing it in person. After speaking with the GM initially, I felt very comfortable moving forward, but the vehicle delivered was not what I expected. The dealer characterized the condition as "normal wear and tear" and advised me to file a claim with the transport company or my own insurance. This was after I provided their listing photos, the shipper's photos, and my own photos upon delivery. The transport company took 123 photos at pickup, which clearly show the damage was present prior to shipment. After consulting with a local Lincoln dealer to confirm my assessment, I obtained a repair estimate of $12,416. I attempted to work with dealership management for a resolution, but their position has remained that I assumed ownership once the vehicle left their premises and that I should pursue the matter with the shipper or my insurance. Based on my experience, I recommend inspecting any vehicle in person before purchasing from this dealership, especially for out-of-state transactions. I would not do business with this dealership again.

I brought in my 2024 Kia Sportage after my seven-year-old daughter pulled on the rear passenger door handle and it snapped off. Given the age of the vehicle and the minimal force involved, it was clearly a faulty part and something I reasonably expected to be covered under warranty. Instead, I was denied service, told there would be a three-hour wait, and then quoted close to $500 for the repair -- all without any meaningful inspection or willingness to help. The attitude alone was enough to make the situation worse. Things escalated to the point where my father, Michael Coughlin, Owner and CEO of Coughlin Insurance, had to get on the phone with the service manager. Unfortunately, the interaction was met with extreme rudeness and dismissiveness. Only after that call were we told they would submit a claim to Kia corporate and call us back by the following Wednesday. They never did. My father followed up again and spoke with another employee who said he would look into it and call us back. Once again, no follow-up at all. At this point, we fixed the issue ourselves. This was never about the money -- it was about principle, accountability, and being treated with basic respect as a customer. As someone who also works in a client-facing role at Coughlin Insurance, I was genuinely shocked by how poorly this situation was handled. To make matters worse, my sales representative promised two complimentary services at the time of purchase. I never received even one. Between the poor service, lack of communication, broken promises, and unprofessional behavior, this dealership has completely lost my trust. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value customer service, honesty, or follow-through.
