Before I previously deleted my Yelp account I gave Peppercorn a raving glowing review with twenty stars.... Welp Peppercorn is still the same after all these years. If you can't find it here you are dead....well at least to me!! I joke. Everything one would want for their kitchen, bar, or birthday present. I love all their gadgets. Their highly curated barware section is fantastic Amazing cookbooks...and funny as hell books in general. Some of the best teas you will find .....Period! Every time I find something to buy...this time it was a microwaveable egg cooker for egg McMuffins....Like who thinks this stuff up! Go...you will laugh and be in awe of their buyers who do an amazing job curating such a wonderful emporium of delightful items.

This is one of my favorite stores in Boulder! They have such a plethora of home and kitchen items that it is rare we don't walk out with something wonderful in hand. The selection of tablecloths and napkins is the best and if you need an unusual gadget for the kitchen this is your place. If you have someone hard to shop for on your list, this is a gem of a spot to find the perfect item. The staff is always friendly and helpful which is an extra bonus!

Right on Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, this place, as the old SNL skit featuring Stefon would say: "has everything!" Assorted home decor knickknacks, books on cooking, candy, friendly staff, kitchen stuff, the list goes on and on. You can easily find books from: you can't cook sh*t to pasta, baking breads, desserts, etc etc. And the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I love peppercorns! One of the best stores on Pearl street. Great home goods store with an awesome selection of a variety of products. Great for shopping and especially good for shopping for any kind of gift. Highly recommend!

I love little shops like this! It has just a little bit of everything making it the perfect stop for holiday shopping. The prices are great, the variety is spectacular and their tons of local goods. I highly recommend doing some present shopping here! Located in the cutest little shopping strip in Boulder, Peppercorn is neighbors to other great shops like Savannah Bee Company, Boulder Book Store and so many more. Check out their website for a full line up of shops. Right down the road is the mountains giving you insane scenery as you shop! Street parking was pretty simple, but I did not see any free options. This shop specifically is great for home and kitchen goods. They had tons of spices, coffees, salsas, creative tea towels and things of that nature. It's sort of like a more affordable, local and creative version of Home Goods. Check it out and shop small this holiday season!

Such a cool place! We stopped in to get some local chocolates so I could take back to NY. The store is cute with plenty of goodies for everybody. I love salted caramel, so I got that plus three other flavors. Halloween decorations were all around to invite people to come in. Other than chocolates, we bought some olives in a jar. They also have some local jams and candies. Stop by for some goodies!

This is one of my top favorite stores, it has a collection of most things for your house besides furniture. If you're looking for something for your kitchen, especially pots, pans , gadgets this is the place to go. I absolutely love this place and every time I go to Boulder I have to go to the store. I WOULD go back because I always do.

I love this shop and always visit it whenever I'm in Boulder. They have so many different things kitchen related. From napkins, to recipe books, to kitchen utensils, to hot sauce and spices. They are very reasonably priced as well and the service is great. Everyone is very nice and are experts on where everything is in the store. You could ask for one little thing and they know exactly where it is. The stuff they sell is also very nice quality as well and will last forever. I love this store and is always on my list to visit in Boulder.

If you buy these you'll truly be singing the song, "Hot Nuts".

Great little gourmet kitchen and food boutique. We were on a mission to find those candy wax mustaches and were having no luck until we stopped here. Did they have the item we were looking for? Hell, no. However, their sales associate thought out of the box and presented us with bendable straws with attachable mustaches. The family pictures we took later on the vacation were very humorous. I was in amazement as I browsed this magnificent store. At the same time I was very thankful that my hometown doesn't have a Peppercorn. If it did, my credit cards would be maxed out and my savings account would be empty. Every aisle I cruised down I found something I wanted. Did I need it? No, but that is what makes Peppercorn Gourmet Goods an addicting store. Their items are so unique, you convince yourself that you need them all. My favorite section was the entire wall of hot sauce. I got heartburn just looking at all the different brands. I may revisit Boulder just to be able to shop at Peppercorn again.

Great place for any cooking item

Art in 'pieces' Usually, a wonderful shopping experience…read moreuntil art purchase. Review is for co-owner - Christie L. In store first wk Dec 2024. Saw MQuan Art ceramic hanging in store. Store would not sell display piece. Ordered, paid, and told not refundable. Piece greater than 2K plus shipping. Worked with manager, Cori, who stated piece would be over 2 months in receiving and first shipped to Cedar & Hyde for 'inspection' then to us out of state. Asked for art photo prior to sending as it was a ceramic piece and wanted same colors, etc as store display - and, it was art paid for. Four months passed, contacted store first time to check on piece April 2025. Had not heard anything from store prior. Finally, heard back, piece 'being made'. Received art directly from artist in NY and charged $75 for shipping. Art was in 'pieces' and was to be assembled by us according to instructions and 'number'. This was neither conveyed in store at time of purchase, prior to shipping or by store email. Picture sent by store/artist prior to shipping showed art assembled as in store. Note this is a fragile assembly of ceramic discs of varying colors. If damaged by us in assembly, would be ruined and non refundable. After numerous curt emails with C & H owner, Christie, refusing return of piece and her misrepresentation of art, need for assembly and no 'inspection', she asked the artist to refund piece and also offered 'someone'of our choice to assemble the piece for us at her cost? Eventually, I returned the art to the artist at a cost of $80 that C&H, Christie, would not cover. Christie, agreed to credit art(only) from artist, when disassembled art received 'undamaged'. We buy art globally & have shipped. This was the most difficult experience and rude store owner we've ever encountered. We're out $80 through this entire experience. Never do business at this store - especially if you're expecting integrity, quality and customer service. Store in Boulder CO. Owner from KS. Art is a large piece, yet easily shipped in tact with proper art packing and charge of $75.This email was Christie's last response to requesting $80 return shipping fee: Remember, it was also up to us to find an 'assembler'... Owner will respond "it was all on us as buyers to assemble and take responsibility it wasn't damaged in doing so." Hi Beth, We will not be refunding you the $80 you paid to send the piece back. There was nothing wrong with the piece. We made an exception to give you a refund on a special order, which is not our policy. We paid the $75 to get it to you, which is not our policy. I offered to have someone come to your house to assemble it, and you declined. The $80 for sending it back is on you. Have a great night, Christie

TL;DR: Shop elsewhere. Pettiness loses business. You can…read moreview at this as a failed "mystery shopper" experience, because that's what it felt like to me. I really wanted to like this store, but the negatives were just too overwhelming. The young gals at the shop were very snooty and didn't bother to acknowledge me being in their store. Like, nothing! I know they saw me, but there was zero acknowledgement. I was vacationing so I had plenty of money to spend, however it was evident by their behavior that they didn't want me there. It was unfortunate. The visit was uncomfortable and unprofessional, and therefore I wouldn't recommend this lackluster store to anyone. (Out of all the shops we went into, the service here was by far the absolute worst.) I'm guessing their lame, "selective" service is why the store was otherwise empty.... I'm unable to hand them a (rightly deserved) zero star, so one star it is.

I had not been here recently and it was nice to see so much fresh seasonal merchandise. I had seen…read moresomething online that I needed to buy as a gift for a granddaughter who will be 9 when we see her next month. The picture online looked perfect but the staff member was unsure of the exact location and gave us three suggestions. We found it on the first one as I thought that was most likely given my previous visits in years past. We did check her other suggested options but none seemed as right as the one I had seen online. While looking though we did run into an impulse buy chocolate option but sadly discovered at home, not as good as the product it was copycatting and I regret the purchase. Lesson learned yet again, get what you came for with research in advance. It's a big store with lots of options for specific sorts of goods, but quality varies by departments.

For $12.99 you can get some candy cane and tree shaped sprinkles, along with blue shiny ornament balls, and some other fun decorations. They also have a Hello Kitty miniature version for about $8. Looking elsewhere at fancier food stores this season and you'll pay at least $20-25 for the almost the exact same thing! Plus, World Market has icing and some cute cookie/gingerbread kits if you're not one to make everything from scratch. Also, it gives me an excuse to browse the aisles and buy other stuff I don't really need.

This is truly a hidden gem on 29th street…read more Within you'll find everything you need for a top notch home cooking experience. From a Staub cookware and Miyabi knives, to adorable aprons and cat booty magnets they've got you covered. Aside from top notch customer service, nearby covered parking, and central location they offer a variety of cooking classes to satisfy any age palate. I've been eyeing the date night classes for quite some time and can't wait to tell my friends about their kiddie cooking camps and classes. I was surprised to find everything from French pastry, to restaurant ramen, pasta ravioli, tamales, from scratch dim sum to Korean bbq. You could literally learn to cook anything.
