The owner of the company needs to learn customer service! My salesperson, Kelly, is a true gem. I love her attention to detail! When they (the owner and Kelly) came to survey my kitchen, the owner drilled me with questions that he should have known. After they left, I placed a call to Kelly to complain about this man and his demeanor, I had no idea he was the owner. When the guys came to install the cabinets, this guy came back. I stayed far away from him. After he left, there was a problem with a window sill and the installer wanted to take a hammer to the window sill with my brand new window sitting on it. What!!! After much conversation, he said that I needed to call the owner of the company. I called the salesperson and invited them to leave. I would buy cabinets from this company but would have someone else install them. read more

Who writes a review at the BEGINNING of a project? Well, that would be me! My sister had her kitchen and bath remodel done by Classic Cabinets. She was thoroughly impressed with their expertise, attention to detail, follow-through and finished work. She exclaimed over each of the workers, including electrician, plumber, cabinet hanger, painter! Kelly, her designer, Mark, the owner and supervisor of every detail. So, my husband and I decided to take the leap and go with Classic Cabinets for our kitchen remodel. Although the main project doesn't start until January, I purchased a chandelier for our entryway, a HUGE chandelier. Mark saw that that was here, and needing to be hung. He mentioned that although they were completely booked, he'd try to see if his electrician could get it hung before the Holidays for us. I secretly thought that would be forgotten. Surprise! I got a call last week from the electrician and this morning they came to hang the chandelier. I'm impressed! Now, we are excitedly looking forward to our kitchen remodel. Sara was our designer and we can't say enough good things about her work. She guided us through the entire experience from visiting our home to helping us visualize through computer renderings how our we could accomplish our goals to material selections. The quality of the cabinets are incredible - from their fit into our 117 yr old home to the build construction and finish. I am writing this review 3 years after installation and can report that everything that Classic was responsible for continues to impress us. Our only let down was with the Cosentino quartz counters which we bought through Classic. They looked beautiful (and under certain lighting still do) but they chip relatively easily and they stain. Ours were particularly difficult to install as one section was slightly off and required incredible effort to fit. If I were to do this again I would go with real stone and not the engineered type. read more

I hired this company to redo my kitchen counters and backsplash because I wanted someone to take care of the whole project from start to finish. Mark did not disappoint--he provided me with a day-by-day calendar, a complete description of the work to be done, and a detailed cost analysis. Emma, one of his designers, spent hours helping me pick out the perfect counter-top and backsplash. Charlie, the supervisor of the project, kept me informed every step of the way and stopped by several times to check on how the work was going. Even the owner, Mark, stopped by for quality checks. The subcontractors--demo guys, plumber, tile/grout installers were all top notch and took good care of my home. I have worked with Classic Cabinets before for two complete bathroom remodels that went perfectly and on time. We chose Classic Cabinets for our master bedroom paint job for that exact reason. The staff is very professional, quick responses to all inquiries, the painters are excellent and always respectful of your home and your belongings. We were given a seven-hour timeframe for completion of the paint job, they three painters were done and cleaned up in 3.5 hours. When a neighbor recommended this company, it brought back some nasty memories of walking in to a bunch of sour-faced sales reps who seemed like I was interrupting them, although there was no customer in sight. Neighbor seemed to have had a decent experience although they said it was overpriced. Basically, within less than 5 minutes of sitting down with one of the sour-faces, I was asked what my budget was and that if I'm not willing to spend X amount, that I was wasting my time and hers! I should have just walked out. I'll be sure to follow up with BBB. Don't know if this was some veiled discrimination but no customer service, overpriced and nasty, gee, what a deal! read more

I used Mark and Classic Cabinets and Design several years ago for a kitchen remodel that included a 5 room makeover. I needed him to step back a bit so I could act as the general contractor for some of the demolition, subfloor, painting, stone flooring, heating, appliance installation etc., but to use his contractors for the cabinets, granite, plumbing and electrical. Mark was more than accommodating. His integrity, honesty, and straightforwardness about my project was refreshing in this industry. He worked with my design to improve upon it, and in the end, I could not have been more happy. I will use them again soon for a bath remodel that I am looking forward to. We engaged Classic Cabinets & Design to complete our master bathroom remodel over the summer of 2019. We truly loved the process from beginning to end. Meeting with Emma to discuss options was a great experience. We only wish our house and their office were closer to each other. CC&D had an excellent vision for our space and created a design on paper that we could see and envision coming to reality. This type of creativity and vision for our small space is exactly what we were seeking. You won't get this from the average general contractor. Mark and his team began the work on time and completed the work on schedule in spite of us requesting some additional tile work to be completed. The entire team was extremely helpful and very nice. My designer, Jennifer, was good and very nice to work with, but their quote was 20% more than other reputable dealers in the Denver area, based on the same Fieldstone design (custom color and inset cabinets included). Classic Cabinets also really wants you to buy everything through them, so beware if there's something you want that they can't get through their own contracts. They couldn't find the tile I wanted, nor the sink, and they REALLY wanted my to buy my faucets through them as well. They'll tell you it's because they want to be in control of what they're working with, and that may be true to some extent, but in reality it's because they make money on selling you more. I was left high and dry on all labor outside of the actual install very late in the game, and had to scramble for it, which would have pushed my job back another 8 weeks. In the end, I moved to a dealer who was happy to do everything I needed, despite my having ordered my own faucets, tile and sink, and who also found a number of design flaws that had to be fixed. Had we not done the measuring once more before ordering cabinets, we would have had a problem. Saved $12,000, and will end up in a much happier place. read more
