As the restaurant attached to the Courtyard by Marriott, I get the feeling a lot of people come here only for breakfast. After a few experiences... well, they're a hotel restaurant and should be treated as such, for better or worse. Service is okay; server is well meaning but made a few service foibles-- to his credit he recovered within a minute and made things right. Kitchen is erratic. Had a 10 or 20 minute wait for a simple breakfast burrito one day, was told they were out of bagels (what?) one other early morning, and had a plate of biscuits and gravy come out very, very quickly later on. Sadly aside from the enormous* breakfast burrito the food was mostly meh, with the freshly deep fried breakfast potatoes being the sole highlight. * = enormous is probably too generous. But it was definitely ample! read more

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST BURGER EVER!!! In town for Memorial Weekend and we hit all the local stuff. Kayaking, golfing and food. On the day we were actually leaving, we were in search of breakfast and since we'd already hit up the local recommendations we decided to throw a bone to place we really hadn't heard of. Peppers is located in The Marriot and we got there at about 8:45. The breakfast menu was limited and I wasn't feeling the selection. My girl ordered the breakfast burrito and loved it (5 ). I asked our server if he would ask the chef if he would mind making me a burger. Server came back and said that the cook was ok with it. So I ordered a double cheeseburger, medium with all the fixings. IT WAS HANDS DOWN THE BEST BURGER EVER, so far lol It tasted fresh off the grill like the old school barbecue hangout burger. Perfectly seasoned, the cheese was perfectly melted evenly. I don't know if this is a common allowance for the breakfast time, but I guess it doesn't hurt to ask. read more

This restaurant is at the Marriott Courtyard, Page. Everything was just ok. Talk about bad food in England, how come no one talks about bad food in Northern Arizona. The Mash potatoes were cold, but the pork chops were great. The blackened chicken was mediocre. The salad was ok. I guess we can't be too picky in Page. The service was great, the chefs need to improve their skills and care to make Page a really great vacation destination. Loved Lake Powell, Horse shoe bend, Rainbow Bridge and the slot canyons. Internet and cell service could be improved tremendously as well. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. OH MY GOD WORST SERVICE EVER. Not that I expect much from a hotel restaurant but JEEZ! So we walked up to the hostess stand and a couple minutes after standing the bartender had to run to grab the hostess. I heard the bartender say these people are waiting and there was still no urgency to greet us or seat us?!?! Get to a table and we're not handed any menus. After a couple of minutes we asked the bus boy for menus. Still no waitress for a bit then a girl from the kitchen brought us waters... Finally our waitress comes and asks what drinks we want... she put them down walked away (2 drinks weren't even right). Another ten minutes went by we told someone else we were ready to order they said they'll grab our waitress. Another 10 minutes before our waitress came. We had to tell her twice what we all wanted before she got it then read it back to us as if she didn't understand what was on the menu. Got the food waited for the check to be brought to us and we ran out. Food was okay not great not bad. I looked around at the other tables (only two other tables) and the girl at the table next to us had the same service! She asked a bus boy for a box and had to stop her waitress to ask for the bill. Another couple who was shortly after us... they were my favorite lol. They just walked in & sat down and the hostess followed them in and said "you have to wait to be seated" the other guy looks at her and goes "oh we did" and just continued to sit down and looked at her and said we need menus. The staff was very nice but the food was meh. I did appreciate the fresh mixed greens in the house salad but the dressing was lacking. The ribs had good flavor but the texture of the meat was definitely reheated meat. Fries were yummy and cooked well. I love steak fries. read more

Other reviews are spot on of this place being sub par. We were stuck without transportation and decided to eat here rather than get a cab since we were staying in hotel. The "Cheese" burger came out with no cheese. Sent it back. They slapped 2 pieces of cold cheese on it and sent back out. Ants all over bar area. Brought all the above to managers attention. Nice restaurant inside the Courtyard Marriott. We ordered 2 frozen margaritas, 4 waters, 2 kids burgers, a steak Gorgonzola salad, and fish and chips. One of my kids said his burger was spicy. I can't confirm that...he can be weird about food. The salad and fish and chips were fantastic. I felt like everything was a little overpriced. We paid $74 for the four of us (before tip). But since it was vacation and we didn't feel like going anywhere after being in the car for 6 hours, we settled on Pepper's. The restaurant was clean and the service was great. I probably wouldn't eat here again based solely on the cost but it was a good place. read more

This was very difficult to rate, because we had vastly different experiences between dinner and breakfast. After driving 300 miles, I was a bit too lazy to drive the mile back into town to search for a bite to eat, so choose to eat at the hotel restaurant. This turns out to have been a mistake. After putting in our order for 2 Southwest salads with grilled chicken, we had to wait 30 minutes for them to arrive. The salads were good, mildly spicy with a nice assortment of greens, olives, and tomatoes. Unfortunately, the chicken was dry and tough. After receiving our salads, we didn't see the waitress again until the checks were presented. Next time, we eat in town. If all you have here is dinner, take away one of those stars. Breakfast was a completely different experience. It was a buffet priced at only $11, and included a wonderful assortment of items - cereals, danish, croissant, toast, waffles, sausage, bacon, Southwestern scramble, a chef making omelets on demand, fresh fruit, yogurt, and actually quite a bit more. Everything was very good. Coffee was provided by very attentive staff. The meal was enjoyable and filling to last for an entire day's worth of exploration. If you're having breakfast at this resraurant, definitely add a star to this rating. read more

Came here to eat a quick dinner since it was in the Marriott where I was staying. They had daily specials on the white board out front that you can check out before coming into the restaurant. They also have a full bar for those who are interested. I had the bison burger as recommended by a friend. I had them prepare it medium rare and it was a delicous burger. Juicy, meaty, and very satisfying. It comes with fries and very much worth the price. I'm hoping the next time I dine here, the food will be just as good. read more

Great food, especially for a hotel. We didn't want to go into town for dinner and even though service was slow the food was excellent. Fresh ingredients and to my surprise breakfast was even better with a great variety of hot food for $10.00 buffet. Will definitely eat and stay here again because our dog was allowed at the hotel. We got into town and on our first night decided to try this place, even after reading reviews. Our mistake. First we stood in the bar/hostess area for nearly 15 minutes before we were seated. The couple in line behind us decided to seat themselves which led to someone coming to get them menus and realizing there were people waiting to be seated. We ordered drinks and nachos to start. The drinks were OK, but the nachos came out cold. For dinner we ordered the blackened chicken pasta and rib eye. The pasta was OK as well. The rib eye was way overpriced for portion of meat. I ordered the steak MED it came out well done and way over seasoned. The mashed potatoes served as a side were flavored well but were cold as if they just sat under a heat lamp. Like the previous reviews said it is best to buy something out of the hotel store or drive less than a mile up the street to have some decent food. read more

We had dinner here in the off-season (mid April) and although it was woefully understaffed, the servers did their level best. The menu is more eclectic than Mexican, and some items weren't available, but all in all, it was one of the better meals we had in Page. Lowest common denominator in all facets of a restaurant possible in a commercially established hotel. Let me define this Sisco, Monkey-menu choice for you. Chicken tenders for fajitas ok, but with the tendon left in? Bad form. The corn tortillas were nuked with edges fully curled and petrified as only a microwave will. Uncle Ben's rice? Wild Rice? With apple and maple was a good attempt at creative but on a fajita plate on Cinco de Mayo? I can't tell if the menu is from CoCo's diner or a Mexican restaurant. Decor is a poor attempt at modern. Couldn't lean back in my stool or I would slip down onto the floor. Could count the liquor bottles on the shelf on both hands and still have a finger to gag myself with. Don't walk, RUN past this place; no matter how sick of driving you are. Go downtown there are 28 restaurants to choose from. We ate there because the wife was sick of riding in the car. I saw the mistake we were making. I thought I'd give it a chance. Let's hope breakfast is better. read more

Decent but unexceptional in absolute terms. I'd say probably above average for Page, AZ. I had a tasty Buffalo burger which was huge. The fries were a little under cooked. The cocktail was below average, but the beer was wet and cold which is important it you are in the desert. My server was fast, accurate and efficient, but the barmaid and concierge girls were disinterested. read more
