We arrived at Stromboli's Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria around 4:05 PM on Sunday. The door sign said they open at 4, but the lights were off and no one was inside. We noticed someone sitting around back who said he was also waiting for the manager to show up. Finally, around 4:15, the manager arrived and let us in about 5-10 minutes later. Once inside, things took a turn for the better. My husband ordered the meatball calzone, which he rated an 8.5/10 -- huge portion and packed with flavor. I ordered a small pizza and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was -- great crust, flavorful sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. The service was friendly, and the inside is quaint and clean, giving it that cozy, small-town Italian feel. Despite the late start, the food and atmosphere definitely made up for it. We'd go back -- maybe just a few minutes later next time! Would have given 4 stars if they had opened on time - and not 20-25 minutes late. read more

My wife and I came to this restaurant while in the area. It was recommended by some locals as a great place for pizza. We arrived and were seated immediately. We ordered beer and wine; although the beer was initially incorrect, the mistake was quickly fixed once we pointed it out. We also ordered the traditional calzone with meatball added. Unfortunately, the calzone was initially incorrect as well, but the staff promptly resolved the issue. When the correct dish arrived, it was absolutely perfect; the flavor was amazing! The food is good, no complaints about the actual quality of the food! It's a small spot inside, I didn't take a picture but there are a few tables. More seating outside, which is where a lot of people migrated to. The service is what I was confused about. Maybe we picked the wrong food items but I got the spaghetti bolognese and my husband got the alfredo. It tasted like the sauce came out of a can. Overall, we did not enjoy it unfortunately. The bread did not taste good and was probably some of the worst I have ever had from a restaurant or even a grocery store. Such a great find in the small town of Page Arizona. Nothing better than finding craft pizza, especially within a small town. After spending a great day, hiking and painting around the red rocks of this area this dinner was truly a treasure. I should have bought two pizzas to take home and put in the freezer haha. We tried to go in and eat some dinner! My husband is a disability veteran with a service dog. They told us that they don't allow any pets in the building! (Service dogs are not pets when they are working) I told her that he was a service dog. She told us we could set out side! It's 48 degrees outside! She said she would ask her manager after that we didn't want to spend our money is a place like this. I wish everyone knew the law about service dogs! This not only made me super mad but also sad! The pizza is definitely fresh, but it is super greasy and the taste was just average. It was also really expensive ($24!!) for a 16" one topping pizza. The pizza I had was great. I had a pepperoni with black olives. Had a few slices the next day and it was just as great. Upon arriving in Page I noticed this place and the giant crowds outside, I love Italian food and wanted to give it a cheer. They were understaffed and not very nice. We waited patiently for a table and it took a long time to get water and our order taken... even longer for our food. I ordered the meatball calzone and it lacked flavor and was soggy. After a long day on the lake we wanted to do an old tradition we haven't done since last summer and get some pizza and wings. We came from the packing lot and didn't see the wait to be seated sign on the way in. While standing inside waiting to be seated we were scolded because apparently waiting to be seated while standing inside is unacceptable. We were rudely ushered outside and told to wait. After another 20 minutes of "waiting to be seated", we decided to leave and try Birdhouse instead (which on a side note had extremely friendly service and fantastic food). This is a pizza place with good Italian dishes. The fettuccine alfredo was 4/5 and the eggplant parmigiana was 5/5.

We ordered three pizzas, and 2 of them had issues with the crust being rough and doughy in parts. It wasn't just undercooked it was unpleasant to chew and made the pizzas hard to enjoy. We called to let them know and requested either a replacement or a refund. They only refunded one of the two pizzas, and of course, it was the cheaper one. Based on this experience, it felt like they didn't really stand behind their product or care about making things right. I don't see myself coming back anytime soon. read more
