Good food. They have an option to put cheese on chicken enchiladas...... that ain't right. Should ALWAYS be sour cream sauce.

Walked in was greeted nicely at the host stand. There were leaves and dirt everywhere at the first few tables you see when you walk in. Was taken to the back where it was a little cleaner. Wanted just a chicken breast but of course topped with vegetables, no rice and beans but wasn't told or aware that i would get charged fully for all of it though. i don't know about you but someone at the table or home would have ate that if i was going to have to pay, times are hard umm duh... anyways we let them know at the front we didn't get the rice and beans so if we could to take them home to someone it'd be great. they didn't seem to like that so my dog will be having rice and beans because i'm scared of spit in my food . read more

The taste of their food is inconsistent week after week. The salsa is fair at best. The staff is kind.

First time here, we thought to try it out. Lot bigger then I expected from the outside. Large size menu. We placed our order with four of us and I kid you not it was out in less than 5 minutes. Scary! I ordered the beef fajitas lunch portion. Beef a little rubbery, refried beans were Blane and thick. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and it is a prefrozen Patty. Staff was friendly and attentive. My order was amiss, they brought a completely different menu item, but it looked good so I ate it anyway and it was very good. Decor is traditional Southwest with Adobe and tile and colorful Decor on the walls. However, with that said, if I can offer a suggestion, it would be to keep driving, no matter how pretty & clean it is (which is my one ) Service: Rude and unhelpful. Almost couldn't be bothered to look away from the phone. Salsa: Better off opening a jar of Pace Picante. When I asked for a more spicy salsa, they offered Tapatio. Peralta's is one of the better restaurants that offer Mexican cuisine. Their wait staff are good and the food is better than its competitor. I love their fajita quesadillas as they have more flavor and cooked the way i want my fajita quesadillas done. The price is reasonable too! Try it! read more

Food was good, service was outstanding. We had been driving by here for over two years and hadn't tried it so we stopped in. Ordered the tampiqueno plate, the meat was good but the whole plate tasted like just like spicy ranchera sauce with bits of meat. Not worth 12$ I definitely did not taste home made tortillas which would of made up for it but, No. neither the corn tortillas and flour were not home made. Sweet Tea is good though. Food was good. Great service. Chips n salsa were amazing! Chips were nice n thin n crisp. Tortillas were not homemade but good. I ordered the steak fajitas and my daughter had the brisket quesedillas. Both came with rice n beans and all was good! Daughter also ordered iced tea and our bill was just under $20. Then of course we had to order a piece of cheesecake to go....yummm....definitely homemade although I think maybe they get it delivered from somewhere else. It was delicious....didn't even need a sauce to be good! Will likely go back if not willing to drive 30 min to our fav place! Would b even better if they had margaritas! Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because that's reserved for the absolute most fantastic food n although it's very good, it's not quite as good as Mexico Restaurante in Mount Pleasant! We read multiple reviews before dining here to make sure it was a good choice. Whoever was writing those reviews must have been high! This place does NOT hold up to the reviews. 3 friends and myself ate here for lunch PROS: Fast and friendly service, clean, comfortable chairs, price was also a plus. CONS: The food came out and all we could do is laugh. The beans looked as they have been run through a blender, the rice appeared to be microwaved uncle Ben's Spanish rice. The burritos looked decent. I cut the burrito with a fork and knife, it literately crumbled. I managed to get a mouthful and the tortilla tasted like a piece of white bread had been flattened out with a rolling pin. The "meat" tasted like they had just opened a can of wolf brand chilli and ladled it on. NASTY! I felt a little bad for the workers because the food was so bad we were laughing at what they were trying to pass off as authentic Mexican food, to the point of tears. My buddy wanted dessert so he ordered the sopspillas. The comedy continued when she brought them out and handed us a squeeze bottle of ketchup. The same thing went though all of minds "OK, this place is bad but there is no way they have the freaking honey is a empty bottle of ketchup" it turned out she just had a brain fart and brought us the ketchup instead of the honey. He poked on with his fork and it deflated into what appeared to be a flap of sugary skin" The taste was non existent. All and all we thought we were going out to lunch and what we got was a comedy routine. read more
