We were invited here by some friends and were pleasantly impressed. You can't go wrong with a good Mexican meal. Unlimited chips, queso and salsa. Large portions. My wife and I split the shrimp ranchero. 12 pieces of shrimp and plenty of rice and queso. Also came with a tortilla and small salad. Parking was a challenge. They have very limited parking. Best Tex-Mex I've had in a month or more, and we eat a lot of Mexican food! Park on-site. Hostess seated us promptly, even though it was during the lunch rush. Our drinks came with Chips & Salsa, with the Queso right behind them. The Queso is thin, but seasoned JUST RIGHT! Excellent flavor without being too hot or too bland!! My Ranchero Chihuahua Plate had Chicken, Beef, Shrimp, and Bacon - in a cheese sauce over a Rice and Green Bean mix (I deleted the Bell Peppers). It may sound crazy, but hot dayumm - this was fantastic!! And VERY filling!! My wife loved the Cabo Tacos with Shrimp; the shrimp filling was generous and the flavor was excellent! Pretty good Mexican food. Chips and salsa were good and that's always half the battle for me. Service was very good. Hubby ordered the burrito/taco plate and he said it was very good. Came with rice but no beans which was kinda weird. Also he mentioned he would have liked lettuce, tomato, and sour cream with his taco which it didn't come with. I had the enchiladas supremas. I never order enchiladas but the menu was a bit misleading. The way it read, it sounded like a beef enchilada, a chicken enchilada, and a cheese and bean enchilada. I was like great, I'll try all those in one dish thinking I'd get three enchiladas. It actually came with four enchiladas the last two being one cheese and one bean. Also no rice which was weird. I wouldn't have ordered that. I don't see the point in just a bean or cheese enchilada, but that's just me. I also would not get the red sauce next time. Too much red sauce and it wasn't spectacular. The chicken and the beef were both good, ground beef was slightly better. They got a little lost in all the red sauce. We'd go back though. The salsa and ground beef was good enough I'd get more tacos or something. Also the bathroom had a really loud annoying squeak to it when you opened it. read more

I stayed at the Hilton garden inn and did a quick yelp search for dinner recs after check in, I saw this commonly recommended so tried it! I ordered a large queso, salsa and carne asada tacos to go. Queso was white cheese and pretty normal. It was good! Salsa was red and also on par for most Mexican places, not too spicy but not the most mild, good!! Tacos were normal... 3, with onion, cilantro and green salsa. They were ok, nothing too special but not bad at all! Would eat again for sure. The star.. the beans! The charro type beans were 10/10. You get a massive amount of food in the sampler, it would easily feed a couple. The quality left a little to be desired, it came almost immediately after ordering, which screams "microwave". For dinner I ordered the Enchiladas Suprema with queso sauce. The beef and chicken enchilada's were good, the cheese and bean enchiladas not so much.
