This was such a pleasant surprise. I'm staying next door at the Hilton Grand and I was able to walk to it (even in the heat). It was an incredible experience and so unique. I love DaVinci's work, so to see this show at Perception was refreshing. If you like DaVinci, you have to catch this immersive video art experience. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They are accessible and have koala stations in their bathrooms, which was important to me, since I had my baby with me. Highly recommend this experience!

Every room had something unique, and we found ourselves laughing, taking tons of photos, and trying to figure out all the mind-bending illusions. The staff was also friendly and even helped us take some of the best illusion pictures. Admission: Tickets are around $40-45 for adults and $33-38 for children (ages 5-12) when purchased online. Kids 4 and under are free. Hours: Open daily from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM, so it's easy to fit into your schedule. Parking: We found the easiest place to park was the Aria self-parking garage, with an easy indoor walk to the museum. You can also park at the Cosmopolitan or 63 CityCenter valet, but all charge for parking. Nevada residents may receive free or discounted parking at some garages. Best Ages: I'd recommend it for ages 5 and up. Younger kids can still enjoy parts of it, but older children, teens, and adults really appreciate the illusions and interactive exhibits. Tips: * Plan to spend 45-90 minutes exploring. (Museum of Illusions Las Vegas) * Wear comfortable shoes since you'll be standing and walking through each exhibit. * Take your time--many illusions look even better through your phone camera than in person! * Let the staff help you pose for the illusion photos--they know the perfect angles. * Go earlier in the day if you want fewer crowds and more time for photos. If you're looking for a unique indoor activity on the Strip, this is absolutely worth it. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back!

Luckily, it wasn't busy, which was perfect. The museum isn't huge, but there are plenty of interactive exhibits and photo spots. Some of the illusions made us wonder how they worked, while others were just fun. We spent quite a bit of time taking pictures and trying out all the different exhibits. What I liked most was that it gave us something fun to do together. Instead of just walking through and looking at displays, we were actually part of the experience. We ended up with plenty of funny pictures and great memories. If you're looking for a fun activity on the Strip with your family or a group of friends, this is definitely worth checking out. We're glad we decided to stop by.

Watching her with other customers, some of them needing extra help with things, was so reminiscent of times when people really mattered to businesses. Security, or maybe just helpers (?) have the patience of a saint. I got lost twice, and they helped me find my way. Granted one guy told me to just wait in the gift shop because everyone ends up there eventually. Well, yeah, after they're done which takes hours if you're into it. There's secret rooms, secret passageways, inside jokes, a treasure hunt type thing where you get your card scanned at each stop, and gift shops. The MeowWolf stuffie we bought was $30, but I don't think you'll find it anywhere else. Little fidget thing, like a Rubics Cube but more..... not cube? was $30. Even after it was solved it's fun to mess up and try again. The entry gift shop has all kinds of funny products, and some food that if you move has hidden things to see. It was fun. You can get your hand stamped to go to the food places. Prices are INSANE. No really. Trust me on this one. There is a place inside the area, but they had like three things. One is macaroni and cheese. lol. Very random. If you have kids expect them to be excited, have a fantastic time, but they'll be ready to leave long before it feels like the entry fee is worth it. There are rooms with flashing lights/seizure warnings, and a couple that made me feel a little dizzy. If you follow the loose story there's a computer to get your card stamped. Took someone in another group to catch it for us. Parking lot is large, locals park free. When we were there there wasn't even a setup to charge anyone to park, but I don't know if that changes. Our maps was wonky, but I'm seriously directionally challenged so maybe it was me. All in all I'm glad we went.

If you're not a Nevada resident you have to pay $7 for parking. There are a variety of experiences including but not limited to axe throwing, arcade, laser tag, and golf. You can bundle different experiences together when you arrive which could save some money. We just went to the Omega Mart which was $60 per person. Just note that the earliest you can come before your scheduled time is one hour. You first start in a "grocery store" and there are secret entrances to the real experience. It feels like a mix of Stranger Things, outer space, and mad scientist lab. It was mostly exploring and touching stuff; it was a lot of sensory overload with lights everywhere. I read beforehand that it was recommended to get a boop card for $3.25 but we were told by the worker that it was "mostly reading" so we ended up not getting it. Along with that there was also a speakeasy behind the grocery store serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We ordered the meowjito ($17) and happle juice ($17) which were the two most popular cocktails and were good. It was estimated to take about 1.5 hours to explore everything but we only spend about 30-40 minutes. I'd recommend coming earlier because once it's busy the experience ends up being mostly just walking behind people.

My wife and kids were next in line and were about to get on when one of the employees went around asking people to wait until 9pm when the fireworks would be going off. My kids were getting restless and didn't care to wait so they decided to go on anyway. The ride is supposed to last for 10 mins but they were only at the top for only 2-3 mins. The guy on the ride felt bad and told my wife and kids they could stay on since they were only on it for a couple mins but the lady who was working the line and operating the ride ushered them off as quick as she could. When my wife asked for an explanation why their ride was cut short, she said they promised a bunch of people they would get to go on and see the fireworks and that they wouldn't fit. She also said she spoke to her in a very condescending way. The rest of the main experience again in the main building was pretty awesome. Arcade was great, VR attractions were fun. This last interaction was just a really bad way to end the night.

The space is modern, clean and the workers are very knowledgeable about Rita's work. We were told the museum is also used as an event space hosting weddings, bar mitzvah and other social events. The museum, which opened in 2022, honors Rita Deanin Abbey and presents a large selection of her art. Rita was an art professor at UNLV for over 20 years before retiring and devoted all her time to create art. On this property, it initially contained her home, art studio and sculpture garden before Rita and her husband built the 10,500 sq ft museum. Rita is known for her abstract expressionism, figures, landscapes, and non-objective subject matter that is expressed through paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, porcelain enamel fired on steel, stained glass and computer art. A docent gave us a tour of facility and sculpture garden. But we were the only ones in the museum so we able to enjoy the peacefulness and admire and be mesmerized by the artwork. If you enjoy art, a visit to this fabulous museum is a must visit if you're visiting Vegas.
