This was such a pleasant surprise. I'm staying next door at the Hilton Grand and I was able to walk to it (even in the heat). It was an incredible experience and so unique. I love DaVinci's work, so to see this show at Perception was refreshing. If you like DaVinci, you have to catch this immersive video art experience. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They are accessible and have koala stations in their bathrooms, which was important to me, since I had my baby with me. Highly recommend this experience!

Where: at a new corridor in between The Cosmopolitan and Aria, in addition to being neighbors to a Ross discount store, Museum of Illusions, and The Ocean Prime restaurant. I made the mistake of walking in 94 degree weather from where I was staying (at Resorts World) with a nearly 45 minute walk, and so the following day I took an Uber going in the same direction to the most southern side of the strip. What: an art museum with a focus on light and projection. Think Tokyo's teamlabs Borderless digital art museum, albeit on a smaller scale. The Exhibits: no matter where you look, everyone including myself were phone in tow taking photographs and filming in rooms with high ceilings, and projected light against mirrored walls. Since BTS was in town for their 4 day stop on their world tour, the exhibits included BTS themed projections, music, and cafe. I don't know how to describe it, but being in rooms with dimly lit light was just exhilarating and relaxing. How: definitely try to get tickets in advance if you can. I tried to visit the prior day, but the line looked extremely long at 2PM. I chose a 5PM for the following day ($60 with access to the cafe) and it took maybe 5 minutes to enter. I would say the whole experience for me was roughly an hour or so. I thoroughly enjoyed the Arte Museum and would definitely make a return visit in the near future.

This is the third (Santa Fe and Dallas being the first two) such location I've experienced and they always deliver. I found Omega Mart a bit disjointed and puzzling, but that's just me. I don't know if we just missed stuff, but the boop card wasn't that interesting because we didn't have the time to go through every single employee computer. However, I did not have a good experience with Meow Wolf the business. I had a very small window of availability in Vegas because I was only transiting through for a very short time, and I was really excited to check out Omega Mart. First, we bought tickets for one day. Two weeks after the purchase, Omega Mart sent me an email that they had decided to open later on that specific day and rescheduled us to their new opening time. I asked for a refund, stating we could not make that time. They refused to refund me at first, telling me to just change the day I visit. I think not refunding immediately was poor on their part, since not everyone is from Vegas or in town long enough to be able to accommodate when they suddenly decide to change their hours. Next, on our last night in Vegas, we realized that we actually would be able to squeeze in a 2 hour visit from sometime after 9 to their closing time at 11 (we originally planned to spend the next day, our last day in Vegas, there). Around 7pm, I tried to call Omega Mart to figure out logistics (how sensitive the ticket windows are). However, the phone number on their VEGAS website redirects to a line in DENVER that has different hours. So we figured it would be safest to just buy tickets after we got there. Apparently after 9pm tickets shoot up to $75. That's wasn't posted anywhere, and since no one had picked up the phone, I had no way to learn that information. The way I learned was arriving at 9:03 pm. Sad.

I went to the website and saw that they had a free day ( first Sat of the month) This museum was built in 2002 and is like a large gallery named for the solo artist Rita Deanin Abbey. What a versatile talented artist. She covers a multiple of mediums from sculpture, fiber glass, resin, paint and vivid colors to express herself. The space is modern, clean and the workers are very knowledgeable about Rita's work. We were told the museum is also used as an event space hosting weddings, bar mitzvah and other social events. It snuggled in a residential area so use your gps. Definetly worth a look to see her gorgeous display of art. An hour or so is the time needed to explore this museum.

The museum, which opened in 2022, honors Rita Deanin Abbey and presents a large selection of her art. Rita was an art professor at UNLV for over 20 years before retiring and devoted all her time to create art. On this property, it initially contained her home, art studio and sculpture garden before Rita and her husband built the 10,500 sq ft museum. Rita is known for her abstract expressionism, figures, landscapes, and non-objective subject matter that is expressed through paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, porcelain enamel fired on steel, stained glass and computer art. A docent gave us a tour of facility and sculpture garden. But we were the only ones in the museum so we able to enjoy the peacefulness and admire and be mesmerized by the artwork. If you enjoy art, a visit to this fabulous museum is a must visit if you're visiting Vegas.
