Maybe just not might be my thing but didn't have the most awesome experience but it was definitely worth the visit to visit at least one in a lifetime. Enjoyed the interactive objects and history. But wasn't long enough and was mainly a back story of the people. So got me a little depressed so maybe that affected my experience. But the ice and large objects were very interesting. I recommend to try this at least once. You also get a card to see if your "person" survived. Mine was missing (body never recovered) and most likely didn't survive. I didn't know the Titanic Exhibit was in LV. If you are fans of Titanic, you'd probably enjoy this more than the average person because we did. I didn't take pictures because some areas were really dark. However, I really enjoyed this exhibit. The glimpse into the lives of those on the ship were interesting. To read all the historic information they were able to gather, made each personal possession items, come to life. The exhibit is a self guided tour and you can purchase the hand-held pre-recording for $5. They have a couple of professional photo-ops starting at $10. I had fun in the gift store seeing similar trinkets of things that were on the Titanic. The exhibit was educational and interesting and you can allocate 2-3hrs there if you wanted to read and look at everything. read more

We went to check out the Titanic exhibit while in Vegas on a business trip. My friend is really into the Titanic and I love museums. We booked tickets and headed over there when our conference ended. We entered and had a photo op before entering the exhibits. The way the exhibit is set up it takes you though from the ground up. The build, the blue prints, the 3rd class rooms, then the 2nd followed by first class. It also takes you through seeing their decks, what the watchmen heard and saw. The big piece is on display here - it was amazing to see. There is also videos of the exploration under water and artifacts preserved as they were found. You can feel the iceburg and at the end of the exhibit you scan your boarding pass to see if you lived or died. This was a pretty incredible exhibit and experience and would highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area. read more

We enjoyed the educational piece and how they were able to get actual artifacts and a piece of the ship. Seeing sleeping conditions between third class versus first and second was sad. I have been to this exhibit several times over the years. It never gets old to me. There's something very special about seeing these artifacts close up and thinking about where they came from. I don't take many pictures of the artifacts out of respect because you just need to see them in person. Take your time as there is no time limit for how long you can spend looking at all the amazing things they brought up from the ocean floor. There are many replicas of things like the grand staircase and the rooms the passenger stayed in. When you get to the end, the big piece will make most people emotional. At least it did for me. After seeing the (at times intense) Bodies exhibition it was time to check out the Titanic! Thanks to the combo deal this was $24 to enter. And wow, this was even cooler than Bodies. Literally located next to Bodies, you can conveniently go from one to the other. This was an incredible stroll through history. You'll be witness to tons and tons of artifacts recovered from the most famous shipwreck ever. The exhibits are tastefully arranged and you'll see everything from bed arrangements to finally seeing a massive chunk of the hull of the Titanic. In the middle of the exhibit is a replica of the famous staircase, which you can take a picture in front of....for a fee! Oh, and if you're looking for the Heart of the Ocean or a replica, you won't find it here. If you love history or even the film, this exhibit is for you. It took me about an hour to get through it but I think I could easily have went a bit longer. At the very end is the gift shop and they actually have some pretty cool stuff in there. As someone who loves history and historical events I've always wanted to go to this exhibit. I wouldn't say this is massively entertaining for very young children but anyone who knows about this event I think would enjoy this exhibit. They had so many artifacts on display including part of the ship itself! They even have a replica of the staircase that you can get a photo on! I would totally return to go with other friends so I could experience it again. It's a self paced exhibit so take your time and enjoy reading all the placards. read more

This is a must do while you are in Vegas. It is great for families, but I don't think that young children would really appreciate it. The entire experience takes about an hour if you take your time and take in the entire experience. read more

The tour was interesting because it had what they claim to be real artifacts from the actual ship. They also did a re-inaction of the night sky with the stars which was cool. They gave all the guests real passes of real people who were on board the Titanic. There's also a body parts exhibition from the real bodies of the victims next door if you're interested. I think it was worth it and very interesting. It's sadly a tragedy that could have easily been prevented, or at least if they had enough lifeboats so many people wouldn't have perished senselessly. They also recreated the staircase and it looked like the one in the movie. It's interesting and provides a bit of culture to the Vegas experience. read more

This is a cool exhibit for titanic fans. They have so many pieces that were recovered from the ocean floor. Upon entering you're also given a small card which tells you information about someone that was aboard the titanic. Upon finishing the experience, you get to scan your card and see if that person survived. The exhibit itself is short, but it also depends on if you read everything about each piece displayed. First, you wait to get tickets. Then, you wait in line to get into the exhibit. You can get a discounted combo ticket at either box office on the second floor of Luxor. It took about 45 minutes to complete this exhibit and there is a lot of reading, all in English. They offer audio guides for an additional fee in other languages. The displays follow a roughly chronological sequence, starting with the building of the ship, then life on the ship, then the sinking of the ship. There are some impressive displays including an illusion of being on the deck at night, the iceberg itself, and the grand staircase. The rooms are built so you can't see what's coming up and the reveal is dramatic. There's some poorly acted skits on tvs displayed throughout the exhibit. It would be a lot more immersive without these looping every minute or so. Overall, I'd recommend this exhibit over Bodies (also located at the Luxor as of 6/1/24). read more

Interesting historical experience nestled in Luxor Hotel in Vegas! As someone who's super interested in all things Titanic, we decided to stop for a visit. Exhibit took ~2 hours total if you read most/all of the placards. Pros: - loved the different placards depicting the backgrounds of various passengers to get a more intimate view into their lives - I like that the exhibits are in chronological order! - this exhibition houses "the big piece", a huge portion of the titanic that was recovered - cool artifacts in various states of preservation - interesting details about the recovery/restoration process Cons: - for the price ($43/pp), we were expecting something a bit longer/more interactive (eg more sound effects, more room displays ). - we found it weird that you couldn't take pics of/approach the grand staircase (it's a paid photo ops). I'm *ONLY* taking away a star because of the " upsells." This exhibit in the Luxor is well worth seeing. The Luxor does charge for parking, but if you are military or a veteran, you can show your military ID/VA ID/DD 214 at the rewards desk, and get a "military rewards card" which gives you free parking at any MGM property on the strip. It definitely comes in handy. They also offer a military discount to get into the exhibit. There are three "upsells." When you first go in, you have the opportunity to buy a narration wand, where at certain stops along the exhibit, You can hear a narration about different aspects to the titanic story. The nice thing about this wand, is you can hear it explained toward an adult perspective, or if you have children with you, you can also get a perspective, more guided toward children. I would say that the wand is worth it. The other two upsells are photo opportunities. First when you go in, and also halfway through the exhibit at the grand staircase. You are prohibited from taking a photo of the staircase, the only option is paying $20 for a photo of yourself at the staircase. I'm sorry, I think that one is a bit of a moneygrab. When you first go in, you are given a "boarding pass" that lists the name of a titanic passenger. As you go through the exhibit, you start with the design and the building of the ship, and then you go through exhibits that talk about life on the ship, and then you go on to the sinking, and later discovery of the wreck. There are lots of photos, and Artifacts from the ship during the exhibit. At the end, you have your boarding pass, scanned to find out what happened to your passenger. I had a gentleman from Ireland, he was traveling with his brother, and sadly, neither of them made it. That actually made me a little bit emotional. It was like I had a personal tie to the person. They do the same thing at the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC. Even with the upsells, the museum is absolutely 1000% worth seeing. The stories and the artifacts are just fascinating. read more

I CAME TO VEGAS WITH MY MOM TO SEE BRUNO MARS AND WE HAD TIME TO KILL SO WE WENT TO MANDALAY BAY AND DECIDED TO WALK THROUGH TO LUXOR AS WELL. WE NOTICED TWO EXHIBITS THE TITANIC AND THE BODIES EXHIBIT. WE OPTED FOR THE TITANIC EXHIBIT. You take pictures in front of a green screen before you start your journey into the exhibit. They give you a card that displays the name of a passenger that was aboard the ship. It shows you what class they belonged to and some personal facts about them. At the end there is a wall with the names of people who survived and were saved and some that were lost at sea. You get to search the wall for your person to see how their journey ended. The exhibits take you through each class so that you could immerse yourself into peoples experiences on board before and after the iceberg hit. They had so many artifacts from different levels of the ship. From ropes that were on the deck, to silverware and plates. Different cabin levels had different amenities. read more

I enjoyed visiting this exhibit! I am fascinated with Titanic's history, so was excited to visit this exhibit while in Vegas. I was able to purchase tickets in person the day-of. It was the day before Memorial Day, so there was quite a bit of a line to go in. It amazes me that 100+ years after the Titanic sank, that's there's still such interest in the topic. I enjoyed seeing artifacts, as well as cabin recreations. The best part, in my opinion, was seeing the Big Piece (a very large section of the Titanic) in person. I docked a star because I felt some objects/items were misplaced. As you can see in my one photo, there was a large cooking pot next to a model of the sunken Titanic. A few things just felt a little out-of-place. Note that there is a lot of reading, but also some videos and plenty of visuals. Thank you to those maintain this important part of history! read more

I just can't believe they retrieved so many things from the site. They have the artifacts temperature controlled. This experience felt so surreal however reading live quotes, feeling the iceberg and at the beginning of our trip we were giving a real name of a passenger and at the end we saw a list of whom survived and whom past away. It's a fun experience if you're a titanic fan. If not, then there's not much to see. It was really cool to see some of the items they recovered and there was even a piece of the ship! We really wanted to do the staircase photo. So you can't take your own pictures in that space. The photographer we got wasn't very good. He didn't let us see the pictures taken even though we were the only ones who wanted to do the photos at the time. But the gift shop people let us go back to take more. I wanted a few pictures on my phone after purchasing from them but they still didn't allow it. The price for 1 printed photo is $20 then $5 for each email copy. They won't just sell you the digital copies unless you buy the usb package for $45 which is a good deal if you planned to buy at least 2 photos, that package includes digital copies of all photos taken including the green screen ones. read more

I absolutely loved this exhibition. I highly recommend it, to anyone considering going. It took us approximately an hour, to walk through. The artifacts are extraordinary. The amount of information I had not known, previously, was astounding. It made for a wonderful experience. The recreation of the deck at night and the piece of hull were the most memorable things. I also loved that photography was allowed. It's not at the exhibition in Pigeon Forge. The gift shop didn't have anything super special, but I did purchase the Titanic branded Irish Breakfast tea. I have always been attracted to the tragic story of the Titanic. It's people, the ship and the aftermath. This exhibit tells her story extremely well, with authentic artifacts and a LOT of knowledge. From recreative videos of people on the ship, to life sized models of cabins, to detailed descriptions of items found in the shipwreck and the people they belonged too. Just an amazing up close look at Titanic There is a scaled down model of what the ship looked like when they found her on the ocean floor, and even more exciting an actual HUGE piece of her hull. This is an emotional journey through the short history of the Titanic and people who experienced one of the most talked about tragedies of history. Her historic end, has created maritime laws that are still followed to this day. I will definitely be going back through this exhibit and get even more detailed information. We finally decided to go check out this exhibit after it be been open for a while. I've always wanted to go, but never found the time, and now that my kids are older, they have a fascination with the titanic as well. It was a great exhibit and you can easily spend a couple hours in there, just looking around and reading the different facts and looking at the different artifacts. The only thing I wish would have been different is being able to take our own pictures at the grand staircase and not having to purchase it through them which was quite expensive for one photo. read more

Fantastic exhibit to see! As a history fanatic and a fan of the Titanic movie and owning the making of the film art book, this was a test for my mom and I to visit. When you "board," you're given the "boarding pass" of a real passenger of the ship. The exhibit takes you through the history of the ship, and the background behind various passengers' lives. For instance, many people were on the ship for immigration, for new jobs, to see family, or to celebrate a special occasion on a luxury ship, much like travelers today too. We walked through the third class decks of the ship, which included shared bathrooms for multiple families who were on scheduled shifts per week when they could bathe, and tiny crowded bunk beds. Surprisingly, it was better than the lives they left before boarding the ship. As we moved upwards to the second deck, the difference in comforts was very large, with better food, accommodations, and activities. And of course, first class had the best of the best accommodations, including a gym! I know some of the other reviews hate the videos, but even with the cheesy acting and the actors sounding too modern, I appreciated the videos giving insight to the lives of the passengers aboard the Titanic. It was like giving a voice to the passengers' experiences. It was educational to learn that the tragedy of the Titanic's fate came down to over-confidence of the staff. What stood out to me was how preventable the sinking was. The operator who relayed telegrams to passengers sent from families and friends (the equivalent of today's messenger apps and DMs) snapped at the urgent messages being sent in, "Shut up, I'm too busy." The crew that were tasked to be on watchout duty for the iceburg were not given binoculars nor property equipment to look ahead and warn the crew with sufficient time. The captain was at a party being toasted to and celebrating the successful voyage of the Titanic, pretty much jinxing the Titanic's fate. When the damage was assessed, the Titanic COULD have made it to its destination if 2-4 layers of the ship had been damaged, but because the damage went deeper than that, the Titanic was doomed. The bulk of the people who survived were women and children from the first class, deprioritizing second class and third class passengers to die not from drowning in the Atlantic, but from freezing to death. A huge lesson learned for the future of travel, enduring to modern day. The videos of the Titanic expeditions to recover artefacts were fascinating to watch, especially when the artefacts, such as dishes and clothing, are presented and preserved in glass cases in the Luxor. The Titanic itself is too fragile to bring back to the surface, but seeing the fragment of the hull standing before us in the final room before going into the gift shop was awe-inspiring. Definitely recommend this exhibit for anyone who's a fan of the Titanic movie and history! read more

The way everything is presented takes you through the timeline of events. There is so much to soak in and appreciate. You are given a ticket of an actual passenger on the Titanic and can read about them at the end of the journey to see if they survived or not. I would not recommend this self-guided tour. If you enjoy all things Titanic you will not be impressed. As you check-in you an employee will explain some rules and no-nos. You will be given a replica passenger ticket at the end of the tour you scan your ticket to see if the passenger survived the night. There is a cheesy photo opportunity for you before you start the tour you are more than welcome to decline (which we did). The concept is interesting but the layout and organization is a mess. In some rooms there are videos playing on a screen which make it hard for you to watch without being in someone's way who is entering the room. I also think there were a lot of missed opportunities when it came to presenting the artifacts and the general flow of the tour. The only memorable thing about this tour was the small iceberg that you can touch. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend going. read more
