I didn't know the Titanic Exhibit was in LV. If you are fans of Titanic, you'd probably enjoy this more than the average person because we did. I didn't take pictures because some areas were really dark. However, I really enjoyed this exhibit. The glimpse into the lives of those on the ship were interesting. To read all the historic information they were able to gather, made each personal possession items, come to life. The exhibit is a self guided tour and you can purchase the hand-held pre-recording for $5. They have a couple of professional photo-ops starting at $10. I had fun in the gift store seeing similar trinkets of things that were on the Titanic. The exhibit was educational and interesting and you can allocate 2-3hrs there if you wanted to read and look at everything.

We went to check out the Titanic exhibit while in Vegas on a business trip. My friend is really into the Titanic and I love museums. We booked tickets and headed over there when our conference ended. We entered and had a photo op before entering the exhibits. The way the exhibit is set up it takes you though from the ground up. The build, the blue prints, the 3rd class rooms, then the 2nd followed by first class. It also takes you through seeing their decks, what the watchmen heard and saw. The big piece is on display here - it was amazing to see. There is also videos of the exploration under water and artifacts preserved as they were found. You can feel the iceburg and at the end of the exhibit you scan your boarding pass to see if you lived or died. This was a pretty incredible exhibit and experience and would highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

I've done this exhibit years ago and enjoyed it. Brought our son since he recently saw titanic and loved it. I think it's only ok for the price, nothing too exciting, I think he liked a few things but was surprised how quick it went.

This is a bittersweet and often heartbreaking experience. I highly recommend this if you ever find yourself at the Luxor or if you're huge fan of the 1997 movie. The way that the items are displayed is incredibly immersive and impressive.

I stopped in their gift shop this afternoon to get my niece a present. I was shocked to learn that they don't provide a discount with my MGM Rewards card. Where do these guys think they are located? Ridiculous!

We enjoyed the educational piece and how they were able to get actual artifacts and a piece of the ship. Seeing sleeping conditions between third class versus first and second was sad. Third class almost felt like a prison. We really enjoyed the parts in which we felt like we were on the boat.

I have been to this exhibit several times over the years. It never gets old to me. There's something very special about seeing these artifacts close up and thinking about where they came from. I don't take many pictures of the artifacts out of respect because you just need to see them in person. Take your time as there is no time limit for how long you can spend looking at all the amazing things they brought up from the ocean floor. There are many replicas of things like the grand staircase and the rooms the passenger stayed in. When you get to the end, the big piece will make most people emotional. At least it did for me. Definitely a must do if you're in Vegas.

This is an amazing experience!!!! Me and the hubby went here for our anniversary! we got our tickets on Groupon.... we saved on that! We love Titanic so this was super exciting for us...with real artifacts displayed made it a really cool experience! They also offer a photoshoot for memories and they have a gift store to buy any extras you want for memories! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Titanic or museums

As someone who loves history and historical events I've always wanted to go to this exhibit. I wouldn't say this is massively entertaining for very young children but anyone who knows about this event I think would enjoy this exhibit. They had so many artifacts on display including part of the ship itself! They even have a replica of the staircase that you can get a photo on! I would totally return to go with other friends so I could experience it again. It's a self paced exhibit so take your time and enjoy reading all the placards.

I have always been fascinated with Titanic like I'm sure most everybody else is. So when we went to check it out it did not disappoint. All actual stuff recovered from the wreckage. I don't really know what else to say about this except that it was really cool to experience. If you are in the area and are interested in Titanic I highly recommend checking this place out!

The tour was interesting because it had what they claim to be real artifacts from the actual ship. They also did a re-inaction of the night sky with the stars which was cool. They gave all the guests real passes of real people who were on board the Titanic. There's also a body parts exhibition from the real bodies of the victims next door if you're interested. I think it was worth it and very interesting. It's sadly a tragedy that could have easily been prevented, or at least if they had enough lifeboats so many people wouldn't have perished senselessly. They also recreated the staircase and it looked like the one in the movie. It's interesting and provides a bit of culture to the Vegas experience.

I've lived here years and I've always wanted to go and I finally got to. It's extremely informative and really takes you back to a time that's almost forgotten now. All the photos with their back stories made me step out of reality and into their shoes. Seeing artifacts from the beautiful ship was amazing. I hope they never get rid of this museum. I did get the audible guide and to be honest.... i used it only once. I kept getting distracted reading. So for anyone looking to buy the guide... i would pass

Interesting to relive and learn about all the artifacts found ! Realistic and cool. Good education about how traveling was back then with first, second and third class. Story has a sad ending but nice to learn about the people who survived. Come check it out !!

    Ask the Community - Titanic

Is this a permanent exhibition? Will it be available in early 2024?

Hi Natalie, Yes, the Titanic Exhibit at Luxor is an ongoing exhibit and will be open in early 2024. We look forward to seeing you at the exhibit soon.

Are they open? I tried purchasing tickets online four times but it keeps saying "Transaction Failed" and no one picks up the phone.

Yes, they are open and accepting ticket purchases.

Is this the same exhibit that was at the Tropicana 20 years ago? Is there any difference if so?

Yes, it is the same exhibition but throughout the years we have brought in new artifacts. In January alone we brought in over 100 new artifacts many of which had never been seen by the public before.

Do they allow you to take pictures with your smart phone?

    Definitely!

    Is it open now?

Yes! We are open Thursday - Sunday 11a-6pm (last admission at 5pm). Hope to see you soon.

Is this place still open and running?

Hi Kitty, While both Titanic and Bodies exhibits remain closed at the Luxor, we look forward to our reopening shortly.

Do they allow you to take pictures?

As of January 13th, 2020 photos are now allowed in the exhibit.

How does this compare to the TN and MO museums?

Is it free admission or paid to get in?

Hello John. The standard entry fee is $32. Thanks!

    How much is the entrance?

    General Admission $32.00 Senior (Over 65 & Military) $30.00 Children (4-12) $24.00… Read more

Is there a discount for families who had family members on the Titanic?

Yes, you get $1 off but you need to ask for Rueven. They also will add to the White Star Line frequent traveler points!

If I check in on Yelp when I arrive at the Las Vegas Titanic exhibit, does everyone in my group (there are 4 of us going using explorer passes) get the free audio tour or only me? Thanks.

When I showed the guy he didn't even know about the coupon but then handed us headset for the audio and just said okay. My husband and I each checked in on our own phones to get the audio.

About how long does this exhibition take?

    About an hour.

    Is this exhibit kid friendly?

I would say yes-to appreciate it though I think they should be 7 and up

The Exhibits: no matter where you look, everyone including myself were phone in tow taking photographs and filming in rooms with high ceilings, and projected light against mirrored walls. Since BTS was in town for their 4 day stop on their world tour, the exhibits included BTS themed projections, music, and cafe. I don't know how to describe it, but being in rooms with dimly lit light was just exhilarating and relaxing. How: definitely try to get tickets in advance if you can. I tried to visit the prior day, but the line looked extremely long at 2PM. I chose a 5PM for the following day ($60 with access to the cafe) and it took maybe 5 minutes to enter. There is a free parking lot attached and as many will point out this is not in a great part of town so if you are visiting during the night it is best to be driven in and out versus walking in and out. They do not allow photography inside so I only have a few pictures from the beginning of the visit, but I would definitely recommend to anyone because it is a really fun experience and it is also very unique. I don't know if we just missed stuff, but the boop card wasn't that interesting because we didn't have the time to go through every single employee computer. However, I did not have a good experience with Meow Wolf the business. I had a very small window of availability in Vegas because I was only transiting through for a very short time, and I was really excited to check out Omega Mart. First, we bought tickets for one day. Two weeks after the purchase, Omega Mart sent me an email that they had decided to open later on that specific day and rescheduled us to their new opening time. I asked for a refund, stating we could not make that time. They refused to refund me at first, telling me to just change the day I visit. I think not refunding immediately was poor on their part, since not everyone is from Vegas or in town long enough to be able to accommodate when they suddenly decide to change their hours. Next, on our last night in Vegas, we realized that we actually would be able to squeeze in a 2 hour visit from sometime after 9 to their closing time at 11 (we originally planned to spend the next day, our last day in Vegas, there). Around 7pm, I tried to call Omega Mart to figure out logistics (how sensitive the ticket windows are). However, the phone number on their VEGAS website redirects to a line in DENVER that has different hours. So we figured it would be safest to just buy tickets after we got there. Apparently after 9pm tickets shoot up to $75. That's wasn't posted anywhere, and since no one had picked up the phone, I had no way to learn that information. The way I learned was arriving at 9:03 pm. Sad.

There are lots of interactive exhibits, old equipment, videos, and real historical artifacts. Learning about the atomic testing era and seeing how close the tests were to Vegas was fascinating. The museum is clean, well organized, and easy to explore at your own pace. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable too. The only downside is the ticket price felt expensive -- I honestly wish they charged a little less so that everyone could afford to experience and learn from this unique museum. Still, it's a very educational and worthwhile visit if you enjoy history, science, or museums.

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how well the exhibits were set up and how much history is packed into one place. The museum does an excellent job explaining the science and history behind nuclear testing and the Manhattan Project in a way that was engaging for adults and older kids alike. We especially enjoyed seeing the historical artifacts, models, and detailed displays that brought such an important part of American history to life. The museum was clean, well organized, and easy to walk through at our own pace, and there were plenty of interesting things to see that sparked conversations among all of us. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we even spent extra time exploring the exhibits because there was so much to take in. Overall it was a fun, educational outing, and we definitely recommend it if you're looking for something a little different to do in Las Vegas. A great mix of science, history, and fascinating facts that left us all talking about what we learned long after we left!
