We ordered our tickets online we had to pay $40 for parking at the hotel that was a bummer The museum or exhibit itself was easy to find and customer service was friendly We went in got to take our time to look and read about everything It's very interesting to see what a human is made of it really makes you realize how fragile we are how easy we can do damage to our body's You learn a lot There was a section that had fetuses but there was a way to go around and avoid it if it wasn't something you wanted to see. It took us about an hour to go through everything They let you take pictures and videos I've heard a lot of conversations about how they get the bodies it's hard to know what the truth is, but it was a learning experience and I thought it was done with respect it really does start a good conversation. I think if you're sensitive to these kinds of things it's best you don't go. read more

I've always wanted to come to one of these museums and thanks to the Luxor, it finally happened! It's such an interesting exhibit but very informative and appreciated to really see what our bodies look like/what's under our skin. There are quite a few different models/body parts to look at and I like that they are all labeled with what I'm looking at (ex. an inner ear, liver with cancer, normal vs bad lungs, etc). If I could make a suggestion/recommendation, I would have LOVED to know more about the person who donated their body/body parts. For example, if there's a body there to just have a sign that says something like, "Bob, 48, loved baseball and his dog, died from a heart attack." or there were a lot of organs with cancer, "Jane, 67, loved gardening, died from liver cancer." These people are donating the last of what they have (their body) for the sake of science and people learning, shouldn't we give them some acknowledgement? I just wanted to know more about these people who gave the ultimate donation. read more

Located inside Luxor. On the second floor next to titanic exhibit and across from blue man group. Box office attendants were super friendly and helpful. Just the perfect people for a box office. Entrance line is visible and easy to find. You'll need to get your ticket scanned at this entrance with the option to take a photo with the attendants here. Parking at Luxor is $20 per day from Monday to Thursday and $25 per day from Friday to Sunday. You can also walk through and explore the other hotels while you're here since they have connecting walkways. Not for the faint of heart. This does take quite an emotional toll. The different rooms focus on each major body function. They do give pre warnings for the next exhibit you're about to walk through so if you can't take it you can skip through. Again it's not for everyone. A few sporadic bench seats inside. Gift shop at the end sorta brings you back to lightheartedness. Took us about 30 min to walk through the exhibit. read more

This exhibition was educational and fascinating. My kids liked it, but my mom (a nurse) and I (teacher) enjoyed it much more. I specifically loved the section of the exhibition about gestation with the babies at different stages. My kids even liked that part; seeing how they might've looked at different points in my pregnancies with them. It was incredibly moving and informative. We also enjoyed the whole section of the different organs/body parts and their blood vessels. You don't realize your arms or hands have that many blood vessels, so that was fascinating. I feel like this exhibition would be a great field trip for schools that are local. I ended up picking up a poster in the gift shop ($12.99) for my coworker who is a science teacher and currently covering the human body with her sixth graders. read more

So didn't know what to expect going into this exhibit. Definitely did not know these bodies were from real life people in China. So going into it knowing that made it feel heavy knowing these are actual people instead of sculptures or mannequins. A lot of information about the human body. I was staying at the Luxor for the night for a concert later on and didn't want to just stay in the room killing time. I remembered a couple of exhibitions here so I thought it was time to explore. At the box office only you can get into both Bodies and Titanic for $48. Sold! Let's go with Bodies first! Now. The thing with Bodies is you're looking at real deal people and body parts injected with polymers so YMMV if you can get past that. If you can, you're in for a real eye opener as you can see how wildly intricate the human body is. Bodies is a self guided tour so you'll just be looking at displays and reading. Regarding the displays they are fascinating. Looking at books in school do not it justice. You'll see all the body systems, the birth process and many forms of disease! It is a complete look at the human body. While I probably wouldn't go again, I'd still easily recommend Bodies. I wish this was available for the younger set to see on field trips. You'll spend probably 45 minutes to an hour so I felt the price was fair (especially in Vegas where everything is $$$). Just make sure you don't buy advance tix. Go to the box office in front of the exhibitions for the combo deal. Recommended! read more

Wild, weird, and weirdly awesome. Okay so I wasn't sure what to expect walking into this -- I mean, real human bodies?? Inside a pyramid-shaped casino?? Only in Vegas. But wow. This place is insanely cool. Super detailed, super fascinating, and honestly kind of beautiful in a "wow, that's my insides" kind of way. It's definitely educational, but not boring at all. I kept saying "OMG, look at this!" every five minutes. There's even a section with babies at different stages of development -- handled respectfully, but it might be a little heavy for some. Wow this place is amazing! It's very informative and educational. I can't believe how well preserved the bodies are. I came to this exhibit about eight or nine years ago and even though things are pretty much the same there is a lot of things missing that was here before, so the only thing I wasn't really fond of was that there was stuff missing from last time? But it was still very cool. The tiny embryos and pregnant woman really blew my mind. It was also cool to see the lungs of a smoker compared to healthy lungs. Check it out! You'll enjoy it. read more

First, you wait to get tickets. Then, you wait in line to get into the exhibit. You can get a discounted combo ticket at either box office on the second floor of Luxor. Bodies is, in my opinion, largely successful because of its shock value. The rooms were pretty empty and smelled stale. While these are real bodies, the preservation process leaves the tissue looking similar to plastic over more traditional formaldehyde etc. preservation methods. As other people have mentioned, this exhibit is controversial due to the questionable sourcing of the people in the displays, among other things. If you are interested in anatomy or wanting to spend ~45 minutes inside the air conditioning, this exhibit may be worth it for you. read more

This was a very neat exhibit, especially showing how various body parts are affected by disease. Son and I both thought the room showing a fetus at various stages was powerful. This exhibit is very well done and so well taken care of. It is incredible how these displays were created and displayed. I'm not positive I would take children as even I felt a bit nauseous and not sure why. The whole exhibit is extremely interesting and valuable for the public to see how our bodies are put together. read more

Oooh, the controversial Bodies Exhibition. I remember reading about this exhibition in the news several years ago about the controversy regarding where the bodies come from... especially the body of the woman with a 4 month baby in her womb! This specific specimen is a part of this gallery. Finally made it to the exhibition and it did not disappoint. I'm currently taking an Anatomy and Physiology class and used it as an excuse to drag my husband along with me so that I could "study" lol. The gallery had a very complete collection of bones, muscles, organs, blood vessels, body systems and even cavities. It was really fascinating to see it all. One of the last sections was the controversial fetal development section and you do have a choice to skip. Lastly, at the very end, we got to hold a few real, preserved organs in our own hands: the brain and a liver that had a bit of cirrhosis and fatty liver disease. Anyways, I loved it. I highly recommend! For locals, make sure you bring your ID for discounted tickets. $28 instead of $35 (July 2023) read more

It really is an amazing machine! This really makes you stop and think. Highly recommend; however, if you don't do well with seeing exposed muscle, organs, veins, and arteries, it's probably best to skip. read more

My friends and I took a group of 40 people to the bodies exhibit. Since our group is so large, I wanted to get early access so I emailed the supervisor Ernest and he worked it out where we can get early access one hour before opening. It was such an amazing experience so educational and the kids learned so much! I highly recommend this for a field trip or a school. read more

This is a very interesting exhibit....not for those with a weak stomach. It took us about an hour to get through it. It wasn't crowded when we went which gave me the ability to really look at different items. They are all from real people and preserved for people to look at. It is educational and great for kids. They go through all the different organs, bones, vessels and more. There are signs along the way to help tie everything together. They show disease processes and abnormalities in body systems. At the end there is a gift shop to visit. It is located in the Luxor right near the entrance by the tram, so it's in an easy to get to location. Tickets can be bought at the time your there or ordered ahead of time. You may also see people out and about in the streets of Vegas offering discounts for this place. read more

Also seeing how everything connects and functions within the human body makes you a little more self aware of how intricate our body is and how we can maintain a healthy lifestyle. There are plenty of bodies to look at with loads of information on each part! You can easily kill an hour or more depending on how much you want to read and observe each section. My only complaint was that I asked about the local discount that they advertise online which they said they would apply, but when I got home and looked at the receipt, I saw that I paid full price! If you are a local, please check what you are paying before actually paying it so that the discount is applied. The difference isn't a lot, but there were six people in my party. read more

To be honest, the only reason we came to this exhibit is that it was free because we bought a combo pack for 3 exhibits for the price of 2. I was actually surprised how many people were here, but that was what made it less pleasant. Slow readers trying to read everything oblivious to the fact that there are other people and they're standing in the way of displays for excessive lengths of time. It's fine to want to read even though we all know you won't remember any of it, but at least be aware of your surroundings and step to the side if you're a super slow reader (and they all were). There's a lot going on here in not enough space. Most of the displays looked really odd to say the least, although some were much cooler. The people just didn't look like humans actually look (even on the inside). So it was strange. And there is a fetus area where they have signs in case you want to avoid that since it's a little unsettling for some people. They all do that, but I still thought it was considerate. Personally I only thought it was okay and if I felt like I paid anything for it I'd be kicking myself. But I can see where some might enjoy it even though we weren't impressed. Although I wouldn't personally recommend it I can see the value some may find in it. read more

BODIES... The Exhibition is located inside the Luxor Hotel & Casino within Las Vegas. It's on their second level as soon as you enter from the parking lot. You can take the escalators up. You can purchase tickets online for BODIES...The Exhibition. If you're looking to do the Titanic as well, you'll need to purchase your tickets at the main box office. At the main box office, you can purchase combo tickets to see both exhibits. The BODIES... Exhibition uses a innovative preservation process. During the visit, you'll be able to see real full-bodies and organs. Some of the descriptions provided throughout the walkthrough contain a detailed, three-dimensional vision of the human form. There are a total of 13 whole-body specimens. More than 260 organs and also includes a variety of partial body specimens. Some of the most interesting parts of the exhibit include the Gastroenterology and the respiratory system. The exhibit contained a lot of details in regards to human body and the muscular system. It was quite incredible and you could easily spend a few hours in the exhibit reading through all of the information. The exhibit's rooms are slightly outdated and stuffy though. There is a gift shop at the end of the exhibit which offers a variety of memorabilia such as apparel, key chains, toys, and much more. read more

I mean, if you are wanting to see real plastinated human bodies...this is the place within Las Vegas. The show is a little better than the Real Bodies exhibit, in my opinion but both are pretty awesome and definitely worth seeing if that's something you are interested in. My child wanted to go here when he turned 5, for his birthday. I don't know that he really had conceptualized that they were once living humans even though he was told and it says so on all the cards. We started a tradition of taking the same exact 3D lenticular photo of our family as us, and then when it tilts, us as skeletons. We've got three so far. This last time we stood in the wrong order because none of us could remember for sure....but it's still the coolest thing ever. Better than a traditional family photo shoot. LOL PS the gift shop is small but they have some really great items in there. read more

This is such a neat exhibit!! I am very familiar with basic human anatomy since I am in the science field. I found it a bit slow in the beginning with the musculoskeletal system. It takes off from there. It goes through all of the systems in the body. I found the areas on the blood vessels and circulation and reproductive areas most interesting. The circulation areas show all of the blood vessels by an injected die into the organs. It was so fascinating to see the vessels in the liver and gall bladder and heart. The reproduction area has fetuses up to the third trimester and you can see what the shapes of the babies and bones are - some may find this a challenging area to see. It was so neat and very informative. I would recommend it to anyone interested I Biology, anatomy or physiology. This place is an amazing way to learn about the body and how it functions! They go very in depth about all the bodily functions that go on in your day to day life, from how your muscles work to how you digestive system flows. You can truly get lost in awing over everything you see here. All the bodies & body parts are very real & they have done an great job preserving it! I spent at least an hour & a half learning about the body and also the diseases that they show! The only down side I would say this place has is the price. For adults it cost $45 a person & for kids it's a $28 per person. read more

The exhibit is pretty short but they have very interesting displays that are educational on the human body and how it functions and looks. Displays range from a pregnant woman to lungs of a smoker compared to a non-smoker, muscles, the brain, and infants and the development of a baby growing in different stages. Crazy to realize that all of the displays were of people who donated their bodies to science. Worth checking out at least one. read more

The museum and everything was amazing to see and intriguing, although the employee named Juliette was really rude and had a mean attitude towards people. No rules were broken and they just kept bothering people. It's understandable that their job is to take care of the artifacts but you should come towards it in a nicer way so people don't have bad experiences. read more

WOW, absolutely fascinating... real bones, organs and muscles in essentially their purest form. All the specimens are respectably preserved and displayed, contributed for educational purposes. You'll walk through several rooms each representing a different body system (i.e. Skeletal, Reproductive, Respiratory, etc.). Most of the specimens are enclosed in display cases, but all the rooms had at least one full skeleton that was out in the open if you want to see details close up or from various angles. When you get to the Circulatory System, blood vessels, arteries and veins are transformed into works of art, colored with dye for easier identification. It was especially interesting to see the side-by-side comparisons between healthy organs and those that were diseased, cancerous or damaged from smoking. They really stress the harmful effects of smoking as there's a summary of its impact in the room of each respective body system. Regarding everything on display, there is a TON to read, so plan to give yourself at least an hour or two. We read as much as we could, so it took us about two hours to walk through the entire exhibition. In my opinion, if you disregard the descriptions, you're missing out on half the experience. Devices are available for rent at the ticket office if you would rather have an audio tour. One of the last rooms (which you can bypass if you wish) focuses on the various stages of fetal development. Although this section is more somber, it's one-of-a-kind and something I didn't want to miss. This is such a remarkable exhibit that allows you to learn more about the human body at a deeper level. Out of all the activities in Las Vegas, who would have thought this would be one of the most memorable! read more

Came by to see what the hype was and let me start of by saying dear lord the SMELL. I mean they're dead preserved bodies. I understand there was going to be a smell but ugh gross. I feel like I stunk like formaldehyde when we left. Regardless of the stench this exhibit is a MUST SEE just don't eat before you get here and be prepared to breath out of your mouth. I don't want to take too much out of the experience but this is worth every penny. Especially for you more morbid and curious fans. I personally learned and loved so much about this. I wanted more at the end but this covered every angle of the human body and I loved it. read more
