Museum Fiasco is my second favorite experience at Area 15 after Omega Mart. It's a room with a light show. My first time here was 3 years ago and they gave out paper prism effect glasses. Now, it's plastic glasses but you need to ask them for it. The staff working the front was informative and very helpful, but she wasn't aware of the glasses. If they didn't give you glasses, make sure you ask for it!!! Pretty sure all the low ratings were because they didn't get the glasses. I only knew about the glasses because I done it before. The glasses enhance the experience 200%. Without glasses: Meh, it's nice but that's it? With glasses: THIS IS SO COOL!!! WOW! read more

This is what I'd call a tourist trap. It costs $15 just to literally walk into an empty room with mirrors for walls and a bunch of pillars with mirrors on them. There's a strobe light with rave music. That's it. You can have glasses which... I think was supposed to give some sort of 3D effect? But it wasn't really worth it. This room wouldn't be out of place in a club or a bar with a dance floor. Maybe it really should've been put in one of the actual bars. But this area really should be replaced with some other attraction. read more

Museum Fiasco was really really cool. It was simple but we definitely enjoyed our time in there. It's basically one huge room and you're given glasses at the start which gives hallucigenic effects! I love contemporary art. I love electronic music and EDM. Bring them together in a totally immersive, free roam space of LED, fog and a wall of sound in an interpretative installation where the viewers themselves are living participants and boom! Pure brilliance. It's loud. Feeling the music is part of the experience. Wander the space. Watch people shooting and posting vids seemingly missing the live experience. Join in with those dancing or sway with the loaded or drunk laughing at nothing in particular. Those sitting on the floor memorized or storming out bored and saying they wasted their $18. It all adds to the energy of the installation and keeps it ever evolving. Stunning if you let yourself become a part of it It is worth the cost and an hour of your time. Experiences vary in length and re-entry is permitted as you explore the rest of Area15. read more

A cool experience if you not sensitive to strobe lights and lights constantly changing. The lights changed in rhythm to the music that they have playing and you can feel it under your feet. It felt like a Matrix experience, lol. I expected a bit more. Its one big room with pillars the pillars have lights on them. There's wall-to-wall mirrors so that the room looks enormous. Once your in there for about 5 min your pretty much done. They do allow you to renter as many times as you like on the same day of ticket purchase. read more

On Tuesday the 28th my boyfriend and I decided to visit since it was included with the Starry Light Art Bundle. "Cluster" is an immersive audiovisual which was created by Playmodes Studio to show the relationships between space, time and perception. We had a blast dancing to the bright flashing lights that played along with the music, but it was short lived since unfortunately the bright flashing lights also gave us a headache. We would return to try more experiences at Area 15! read more

I'm a big fan of lights. I like blinking lights, red lights, blue lights.....just a lot of different lights in general, so when we walked into the Museum Fiasco, it was a little bit of an overwhelming experience in a good way. This experience located inside of Area 15 is probably the least complex and may even be the least worth it. Basically, you walk into an empty room that's filled with smoke and mirrors while lights are flashing all around you. The room itself is a good size and you are given a pair of glasses that make lights look like heart. Each "show" is about 45 minutes to an hour and you are allowed to come back as much as you want throughout the day to see more of it. I ended up coming in here twice and at first I didn't even realize it was something different, but the colours were a bit different and the song was as well. My first time walking into the room I thought it was pretty awesome, and don't get me wrong, it's a cool thing to see and experience, but when I came back the second time it was more or less the exact same thing, and is probably not worth the $18 admission for most people. Overall, Museum Fiasco was a cool enough experience for a one time thing. The lights were cool and the music and smoke made the whole experience feel like something different, but at the end of the day, this experience just isn't worth the $18 being charged compared to the other experiences at Area 15. read more

Tucked into the corner of the second floor of Area15, Museum Fiasco wasn't on our to do list, but we found it and decided to check it out. We weren't sure what to expect from an immersive light and music experience. The bass-heavy music is timed to the light displays that come from the pillars and walls. The room has a smoky haze that adds to the experience. You also wear a set of paper 3d glasses that enhance the lighting effects. We were told the museum has three different "shows" that each run for an hour. While the experience was interesting, I don't think we would go back for the three different shows. I think we were in the presentation area for about 15 minutes. This was fun to experience one time. For some people, the cost may be more than they would be willing to pay. Also, do NOT go in here if you are affected by strobing light effects. That's pretty much all the lights do in here. While we probably wouldn't go back, it's worth the cost of admission. read more

If the point of this experience was to waste peoples time and money and piss them off, I think they achieved what they were trying to do and I think that's beautiful. I wouldn't call this a museum or exhibit, but I would call it a fiasco... although that would imply that something was actually happening in there. I decided to check out Area15 on my Las Vegas Trip. My first stop was to see Museum Fiasco ($17 per adult), which is an immersive sound and light spectacle. I made a reservation for 6:30 PM -- that way, I had a full night to explore AREA15 and try out at least one more experience. Upon walking into Museum Fiasco, I could see my partner looked nervous. It was dark and the audio booms shook us to our core.  But don't worry, this isn't a haunted house. Think of Museum Fiasco as more of an immersive art installation, meets a crazy Vegas club. Well, without the crowds. Perfect for COVID! It's easy to just get lost in the space, taking artistic photos for your Instagram page. We spent about 15 minutes inside snapping shots and maybe doing a few dance moves. It was unique. And reminded me of being in The Matrix. Or stuck inside a computer. And no, I wasn't drinking yet. After leaving the exhibit, I read a sign explaining the concept of Museum Fiasco. It was created as an immersive audiovisual installation to explore the relationships between space, time and perception. And the exhibit was a "psychic journey of abstract geometry." Wow, now that is deep. But if you're like us, hey, you'll love taking all of the fun photos inside. And maybe doing a few dance moves. From here, we moved on to the old school arcade bar where we killed some time before our next experience. read more

Got the Fiasco Cluster cocktail experience - the drink was absolutely delicious! After the drink you walk through Museum Fiasco - it's less of a museum and more of a mirror/light show. It was really cool though, stayed for the entire 15 min set and the music experience was cool as well. They change the music/lights every hour so you're invited to stay around Area15 and then come back but I didn't have time to stay but what I saw was fun and I'll definitely recommend it to other friends to check out. read more

I wish I looked it up before paying the entry fee. Yes, it's just one room with lights, sound and fog. After seeing the other exhibits in area 15, I have to say it was the weakest one. Looking back, it made sense why there was no line to get in and the attendants almost seemed relieved when I walked up to check it out. Just my opinion but If you're going to do an infinity room with pillars, I feel like there should have been more pillars or having them evenly spaced out so as to get a better sense of the room stretching out to infinity. Regardless, it didn't feel like much of an experience for $18 and I ended up spending maybe 10 mins max before I was bored. I wouldn't do it again unless I was on drugs, that's for sure. read more

This can be high energy if you dance around to the music, or reflective if you stand off to the side and try to take it all in. It's nice they do free re-entry and change the show among three every hour. I'd like more fog sometimes but they said you could not bring in any of your own. I would recommend to go back. read more

This is one of the few things we decided to try at Area 15. It was different. Just a big room with lots of pillars of light choreographed to some extremely loud music/sounds so loud you can feel it in your body. If the music were not so loud I may have enjoyed this more but it was a little bit of a sensory overload for my ears. There are 3 shows but we only did one. I guess you are maybe supposed to dance but the show we were in didn't really scream dance vibes at me. Maybe someone who appreciates raves would appreciate this more than I did. read more

Enjoyed my experience here. Located at Area 15 in Las Vegas it's on the second floor of the facility. Great acoustics and lighting. My girlfriend and I spent about 10-15 minutes in the experience. We believe we went through a whole cycle of the experience. It is a bit pricier then we would have liked for such a short amount of time, but would recommend to others as a unique experience to do in the area. So i came here for my 23 birthday and everything in here was pretty expensive. one thing i really wanted to experience were vibrant visuals and art i could take pictures in front of. It came down to two places: museum fiasco and one of the other displays. i spoke with one of the employees that gave me a better description than i couldve asked for and i came to the conclusion that museum fiasco was the right choice. As soon as i stepped in my expectations were exceeded by the full body immersive walk in gallery, amazing light visuals, and striking audio to move you along. It was like nothing i had seen before. I wish I would've looked up reviews for this place, inside of area 15, before I went. I have no problem with loud sounds, smoke machines, and lights but I became highly dizzy standing in just one room for 10 minutes and just watching lights blink and hearing a train sound coming. I don't know how long the show actually last because we left. This is not a museum, it's a room, where you stand and there are lights and sounds. Not worth $15, not worth a dollar. I definitely recommend the Cluster experience. It is a really cool sensory experience but I was not sure how my Autistic son would handle it so I was hesitant to purchase the ticket. The lady at the door was so nice and understanding and she allowed us to try the experience free of charge just in case he could not handle it.
