This used to be my favorite place to go in town not only because they always did a good job, but I enjoyed talking to Percy about Laur Broadway in the old days. But the last time I was in there, he be rated me because he didn't think my shoes were nice enough for him to work on and I couldn't tell if he was just in a bad mood or he was doing this because he had a few other customers sitting around waiting. It's too bad when people start thinking so much of themselves that they don't really wanna work anymore. I've been coming to him with the same type of shoe for 10 years. It's too bad for him. Percy is a magician. I don't get up there very often and I had a pair of shoes that were in really bad shape. He re-dyed and shined them to better than new condition in just a few minutes. Just amazing. Wonderful old school shine shop that hasn't changed in decades. I hope it never does. read more
