This is a great park with lots to do for all ages. We will definitely be back to visit soon!

Let me start with..it's a kids dream! This is a great community kids park. Lots of people bring the kids to enjoy the obstacles. Parents could do more to help it along. This was built by local and military members years ago. It's unfortunate to see that parents aren't taking pride in this great park. It's for your kids. If you see trash, pick it up. If you see that the bathroom isn't working or isn't clean, reach out to the parks/rec department and let them know. They've had issues with young kids roaming around at night after sunset. So if you see something not right call the Sheriff. The park is visited by neighborhood families and families from surrounding areas. It should be treated as if it was your own back yard. Help keep it clean. read more

Park is very nice and clean. A lot of obstacles for smaller kids however my kids are bit older and still enjoyed this park! No walking tracks but still good. There are a few benches and picnic tables. read more

Perdido's kid park was exactly what I was looking for. As a mother of a toddler it is tough to find a park that features space for my little that is safe, clean and has swings and structures for her age group. The toddler section offered ample swings as well as a play structure and these cute bouncy bugs that she loved. The bigger kid section was pretty impressive too, and would interest a wide age range of kids. My ONLY complaint was that there seemed to be a lot of bees around the toddler climbing structure, enough to make me question if there might be a hive somewhere close. It's spring and that time of year, but their presence cut our time spent short. read more

We love visiting this park when we travel to perdido key. It great for all ages 2 and up. It even has a great interactive mister station. It well kept clean. Great little hiking trail (sad they built houses on top of the trail) bit still enjoyable. Highly recommend! read more

My little brother is an avid geocacher and spent a good portion of our family's recent trip to Pensacola searching for caches near the various places we visited. For those that aren't familiar, per Wikipedia, geocaching is an outdoor activity where you use a GPS, your phone or another navigational device to "hide" and "seek" containers, called "geocaches" or "caches" around the world. The concept is actually pretty cool and finding a hidden cache can be quite exciting, especially seeing what the person who placed it in that area put inside it. One of his clues took us to this hidden park, which is located right off the Gulf Beach Highway and just a little over half a mile west of Blue Angel Parkway. The park reminded me of one on my hometown (Vernon Hills, IL) called Kid's Castle. If you've got children, bring them here because they will absolutely love it. The wooden play area had many levels. It has forts, which gives it a somewhat medieval look/theme. The park has slides, swings, a lighthouse, a pirate ship and Blue Angels planes. The park is handicap accessible, has a bathroom and picnic tables so you can enjoy an afternoon outdoors. The park is a wonderful hidden gem and definitely worth visiting if you've got little ones with you. They are sure to love it since the park offers so many things for them to see and do. And, it's bound to tucker them out, so perhaps you can have some quiet/alone time. read more

Really close to the NAS base. Easy to find. Large sign off the road. The park is secluded and away from the road which was nice. Sign stated that it's open from dawn to dusk. Very nice park, old but very clean. No stragglers hanging around, only parents and kids. There was a covered bench area where u could have a small party or something. I like that the park had distinct areas. To the left there was a toddler area. The middle of the park could be for older tots. To the right I think that area was well suited for older kids but my 2 year ran all over and was able to do things just required close monitoring on the more advanced areas. In the back of the park there were swings. One set of swings in the toddler area and another set behind the main area. Each side had a red seated swing that was able to hold me and my daughter. Also there were gliders in each swing area. The park had: bridges, different shaped slides, monkey bars, a tire swing, a mistint station, bungee rope ladder to climb, rock climbing wall, stationary planes and cars. The park was made of wood. But so worn I don't think there's a concern about splinters. I will say make sure the kiddies skin are covered because areas like thr slides or swings could be really hot on the skin. Overall a nice place to have them run around. Nice and quiet. Free activity. read more

Amazing! This place is wonderful. Great that it's two sections for two age groups and one entrance and exit.

This is a great little park for the area. Reminds me of the park by Ascend (check that out if you are in the Cantonment/9 mile area). Bathrooms and picnic tables are available so it's a great place for a party. Just make sure it's not already booked because this place is pretty popular. You can always expect kids to be here if you want to make sure your child has someone to play with. Trails are also available. read more

Fun kids park. It's a little bit of a drive from the beach. It would have been phenomenal when it was brand new, but it's starting to show its age and needs a little TLC to repair some of the rotting wood . It does have a spray arch to help keep your kids cool so bring water friendly wear. read more

Great park, hidden away just off the highway. My kids are 5 and 6 and absolutely loved it. It has an intricate maze of wooden play spaces with some rock climbing walls, swings, and places for parents to hang out. Includes a garden, bathroom, and covered picnic tables. You can tell this playground is truly loved by the neighborhood as evidenced by the names of donors and volunteers on the playground. We picnicked here and my kids didn't want to leave. Great place to stop after the Naval Museum to let your kids blow off some energy. read more

Excellent park on the west side of Pensacola. I can't remember the last time that I saw a park this complex. My daughter loved it.

One of the best park I have seen in Pensacola...lots of activities for the kids...there is even a trail you can walk on.
