I love the large parking area and ramps that give you easy access to the Beach. There is a charge to use the fishing pier but from what I could see, it was worth it to those that were fishing. Tons of fish , pelicans, dolphins but also jelly fish. Water was crisp and clean and cool and perfect for a Florida summer morning.

The miles of paved highway is surrounded with white sugar sand beaches and towering dunes and beautiful water with lots of parking and not so many people at least the day of our visit. I guess this would be considered a barrier island but regardless of its designation it's one of the most beautiful stretch of beaches that I've come across and I've seen plenty - if you're planning a visit be prepared to spend the day the memories you make here will last you a lifetime, there aren't a lot of amenities if you consider the vastness of this place and please pack out everything you pack in this is one of the most pristine pieces of land I've visited and deserves the respect from all that visit. If there is such a thing as a bucket list item this definitely qualifies and if you're lucky enough to be able to spend some time here just do it - it exceeded all my expectations and I hope to return again soon...

It was a restaurant/cafe and a large area portion of the store was apparels. A great selection of surf shirts, shorts, hats, etc. We liked a couple of Crop Tshirts and was pleased to see they were on sale. They also offer a Military Discount with an ID. I seem to notice if there seems to be a lot more homeless people here in Pensacola that on my last few visits. It seems to be a nice enough walkway, though it is little more than just a greenway with a sidewalk going through it. I do not know if I can give this place a recommendation. As I said, there's really not much to it other than a little sidewalk in a few benches. But if you are in the area I just need to chill for a bench on a bit, I guess this place will work fine.

Nice concrete double gated entry area but I am sure the dogs would have much preferred the grass just be left alone then the nice concrete bone in the middle of the park. Fortunately they have one of every agility item as well as multiple poop bag dispensers and trash cans. Both the big and the small dog park also have covered seating areas. But the one thing lacking is room for the dogs to run and places to park other than at the curb. I do have water in both parks.
