This park is spacious a waterfront which is fantastic. I love having water adjacency - it's incredibly soothing. They have a water front dog beach so the pups can romp in the sand and the bay water. Adorable. They have facilities here for restrooms and some covered pavilions. They have bands on the beach near the dock in the summer months which is lively. There are a ton of old growth trees which are beautiful. There are steps throughout but it's very manageable. Lots of parking. I do wish they had more intentional landscaping. Pensacola selectively landscapes its parks it seems and I wish this one got more of an overhaul. It's quite large and expansive and with some additional thoughtfulness and planting it could be a very special urban park. read more

Overall, Bayview Park is a pleasant park. I stopped by here to eat my lunch and enjoyed an absolutely beautiful day with pleasant views of the bay. They have a dog park and a place to launch kayaks and canoes. It has a decent sized parking lot and again, it is a nice park. read more

I googled walking trails in Pensacola this morning as we were headed over to Belk today to pick up something and found this park on the list. This jewel is in the East Hill neighborhood and what a beautiful place it is. The walking trail itself outlines the whole park and has flat but also includes some nice hills so you can really get a nice workout. They have a dog station and plenty of trash cans and even a butt station for disposal of trash. There are plenty of benches placed along the trail. They have two dog parks one by the water and one inside the trail and there were lots of 4 legged friends today. There are rentals for kayaks for the bayou, tennis courts, children's playground, picnic tables, boat launch, community center and senior center. It was very busy with all types of park lovers. Love going to the dog beach but it's a steep hill to get down there... beautiful views... 2 dog parks there with all of the amenities but, we rarely find other dogs to play with... nice restrooms too... read more

Absolutely fell in love! I just relocated from Miami to Pensacola a few months ago and lucked out when a local mentioned this dog beach/park - sayy whattttttt?! I honestly did not have the highest of hopes but man-o-man this place is amazing! This review (obviously) focuses on the dog parks but they are too good to not review them. There are 2 dry land dog parks - one for big and one for small dogs and they are both sizable and look like they're super fun for our four-legged friends. Then there is the DOG BEACH! It is AMAZING. Huge open space for the dogs to run, a whole fenced-in area of beach dedicated to our little buds, I absolutely love coming over here for a visit. The view is fantastic as well. Bayview Park - Parks Near Me - Pensacola, Florida

Mainly checked this park out for the tennis courts but I was positively surprised with all the different features. There's a dog park, kayak and paddle board rentals, a small area to work out in, handful of picnic areas, playground area, I mean the the list goes on. It's well kept and the surrounding neighborhood is very quiet and welcoming. There's plenty of tennis courts as well but does tend to get very crowded from 5-7 pm. Overall, I think this is a beautiful family/kid/dog friendly park to visit if you want to enjoy the scenery and fresh air. Also, for the photographers out there, this is such a convenient and perfect little place to get some shots in. There was tons of places where you could set up and get quite a view!! read more

This park is between the bathrooms next to the bay and a tennis court. If you're driving down there's a water area (on the right) that is super dog friendly then keep driving, f need in dog park on left. Keep driving to a parking lot and it does t look like much, but it's a fantastic park. Only not a lot of shade so super hot In the sun. read more

Another park I used to patronize when I lived here in my college days. I would sit at the dock and chill. It was a popular talking spot and I actually broke up with a guy on that dock. The park today has a bit of construction going on. The park is still nice because of the way it slopes down to the water. You really get nice views here. There are tennis courts and pavilions at this park. Of course there are playgrounds here. I was always told that there were huge gators in the water, but I've never seen any. read more

There's so much to do and you can spend all day here. They have kayaks for rent, a walking trail, a dog beach, another dog area, tennis courts, a nice playground and much more. There are several boat ramps and docks you can walk out on. In the neighborhood there is also several other small parks with basketball hoops and smaller playgrounds. This is one of the best parks we have found in Pensacola. read more

I really like this park. Pensacola is a lot of things, but it isn't really a place that is park friendly. The parks here generally suck and are boring. And that's if you can even find one. Well this park is really nice and relaxing, especially if you have a dog. I personally don't have a dog, but I do have a kid, and a lunch break to kill, both of which this place presents a good place to go for both. It actually has a dog park area and a regular area, which seem to be good for kayaks, canoes, that type of thing. There are docks, water, and a huge area with lots of benches and a generally really nice peaceful place to go for a nice day. It's also surrounded by the exquisite east hill, which is pretty much the nicest most unique part of Pensacola- definetely the nicest part of the entire city. Lastly there is a senior citizen center there for older folks to check out. read more
