I recently I spent $1600 to get rid of squirrels in my attic and to close up their so called modern roofing ventilation screens. Their modern ventilation also allows leaf particles to enter attic. DO NOT allow them to give you the "modern ventilation". And make sure they place screens on the vent pipes to keep out varmints.

I deducted a star because two weeks later when I had a property inspection done, the inspector sited faulty roof installation where the seams didn't match up. I'm not sure how important this is but when I inquired with Tex Roofing, they offered to make the repairs and said they stand by their five year warranty.

We had been trying for a year to get someone to repair storm damage to our roof and porch. People would come and give us estimates but we would not see them again. One contractor came out and cut a huge hole in the porch ceiling and did not come back except to pick up his ladder. We decided to try the yellow pages since personal referrals had not worked and we are so glad we did! We got a prompt and thorough inspection and estimate. It was lower than our previous estimates. Even better, two guys came out on the promised date and time and thoroughly repaired and replaced everything with great efficiency and were pleasant and friendly. We have some other repair work to be done and we'll be using this company. It could not have been a better experience. WONDERFUL!!!!!!

The team came out to inspect the work, made a repair that did not work. Roof continued to leak and now the company advised me to hire someone else to complete the repair, they claim the leaks are a coincidence and not related to their work. Steve Powers told me it was unfortunate I was experiencing leaks, but it was misguided to blame the company's work. Now our insurance company is having to get involved.

He arrived quickly and diagnosed the problem. Some of the sealant around the roof vents had deteriorated and caused the leaks. Zane and his assistant inspected and resealed every vent on the roof. All done in about an hour and a half from phone call to finish. The cost was more than reasonable too. We will definitely use Legacy again for any future roofing work.

After having contracted with another Zane and I discussed that he would have gladly bid those same materials. Lesson learned, I never thought to ask. Then in the course of 3 weeks the other company kept changing things up (like the deposit, time frame) and finding $3000 to $12000 worth of things they wanted to do extra. I finally told them to go away. At that point I called Zane again. He quoted me the same price as the other company, did the "extra" stuff for practically nothing and from the time I signed the contract with Legacy to the time my roof was completed was a whopping 5 days. The installation took all of 1 day. The roofers and carpenters were amazing. They painted the facia / siding repairs to match the house perfectly. They took great care in taking care of my home, yard and pool during the installation. If you'd seen the debris you'd think they'll never get all of that picked up, but they did. Legacy Roof TX is the best. I have a beautiful new roof and couldn't be happier.
