This is a very overdue review, but it's well deserved. John is truly one of my favorite contractors…read moreto work with. Our neighbor highly recommended him for our stucco project, and he exceeded our expectations from start to finish. From the moment he provided his bid, everything was timely and professional. He took the time to explain the differences between Blueskin and regular waterproofing, including the pros and cons of upgrading. When it came to ordering windows, he walked us through why investing in higher-quality options was important and how it would benefit us long-term. What really stands out about John is his integrity and foresight. Our project lasted about two months through winter, with plenty of rain and wind, but he was always one step ahead. He made sure his team covered and protected the work without us ever having to ask. Even while managing multiple projects, John stayed on top of every detail. His organization and communication gave us complete confidence throughout the process. I would hire John again in a heartbeat.

I had so many questions and John was super nice about answering everything. He was also great about working with another contractor and trying to coordinate schedules and such. He also went above any beyond to ensure the quality was there. The first time he resurfaced, my husband already approved it, and they took the scaffolding down. But when John came back he wasn't 100% happy with the work and resurfaced the entire house to ensure it was up to his quality bar. You don't see many people like that in the industry. I'd 1000% recommend John for any of your stucco needs.

Roof leaking, windows leaking, wood rot, termite damage. What a mess. Seamus has the skills (and in the case of the roof, the associates) to fix all of these problems. His team chiseled out all of the aged stucco and added new chicken wire, flashing and weep screeds. He removed all the rotten wood and essentially rebuilt the front corner of my house, including a decorative wall that was so leaky that its bones had completely rotted away. Then his team re-applied base stucco and let it cure properly before mixing a beautifully colored finishing coat that was perfectly textured. The house looks amazing now. I had been putting my head in the sand for years, ignoring all the growing cracks in the stucco and knowing that water was soaking the bones of my house. I have peace of mind now. Also, as people note below, Seamus is responsive and a good communicator. So important in a contractor. Thanks Seamus.

The wall was originally made of lath and plaster. I prefer to keep the materials the closest the what was originally used for our home. Seamus was able to just that. Morales Plastering Construction has been our smoothest experience yet! The owner, Alejandro Morales, is a joy to work with. He takes immense pride in his work, and it's evident that his team respects and enjoys working for him. He is a hands-on owner who (literally) isn't afraid to get his hands dirty to ensure the highest quality; he even personally helped complete the finishing paint work on the repaired stucco and surrounding areas. Communication with Alejandro and his team was top-notch. All workers showed up on time and cleaned the job site at the end of each day. We had multiple leaks in our windows, and Mr. Morales was able to diagnose the root cause immediately. He offered repair recommendations and a very fair quote--a much better route than replacing the windows entirely! If you have leaks associated with rain or any non-roof-related stucco or siding issues, look no further than Morales Plastering Construction!

What was once dated and underwhelming is now a beautiful focal point with real presence that perfectly complements our clean-girl aesthetic. We couldn't be happier with the result. Alejandro, the owner, is a joy to work with and keeps a close eye on his crew - they are supremely clean and polite. Looking forward to working with Morales again!

You could tell he's been doing this a long time and is very good at it because he knew exactly what to do on our fairly complicated stucco removal and replacement job. He insisted that we wait for all of the new windows to be installed before starting work. My architect agreed despite the fact that the window installer said it would be fine to do the stucco first - I went with James' recommendation which was the right call. We couldn't be happier with the results - the quality and appearance is terrific. James worked with me and was flexible with respect to timing (waiting for windows for over a year). I had a small area that needed to be redone months after the work was otherwise completed and James sent a crew out, no questions. I had two issues - one was bad communication (both of us) on the final inspection. I thought James did it and he assumed I had. I paid for an extension so no big deal. The other issue was our landscaping - I didn't understand that they would be removing tons of old plaster and that would end up sitting on some of our plants. When I complained to James, he gave me a meaningful credit for new landscaping (and explained the situation). The credit ended up covering the cost of the new landscaping and then some. Bottom line - I highly recommend Quinn Plastering - I don't think you will get a better result. Before he starts work, I suggest you spend a few minutes with James going through expectations - things like damage to plants, permitting responsibilities, etc.
