They completed the project in a week and repaired fairly extensive wood damage. Their demo, carpenter and stucco crew were all on time and professional. This review is for Jose's honest and helpful appraisal. I contacted Plastering Solutions about a stucco repair job. The scheduler was super nice and asked me to send pics. She scheduled a same-day appointment with Jose, who called right on time. He took the time to explain that the problem only needed caulking for the cracks and painting, and that if I had problems with cracks afterwards, he could repair the cracks with another technique. He also explained that the water barrier was underneath the stucco, not the stucco itself. Lastly, he said that while he would be happy to do work on the cracks now, he did not think it was necessary. He spent time kindly and patiently explaining why I didn't need to pay him to do work. First, in the interest of full disclosure, we did not end up using Plastering Solutions for our stucco project because we had a very tight schedule and Jose's timeline didn't work for us. This review is based on our interactions with Jose, the owner of Plastering Solutions. We contacted ten stucco specialists and general contractors to get estimates for our whole-house stucco remodel. Several didn't even contact us back. We ended up getting six estimates. Jose was the first person to respond to our request for an estimate, and he came the very next day. He spent about 45 minutes with us explaining all of our options and what his process would be. As we met with more contractors, we learned more about our house's existing siding. We asked Jose had to revise his proposal based on the new information. It meant more work for him, but he got back to us quickly with a revised estimate.
