The cause was they were forgotten about and the pot boiled over. Generally, you cook these below the boil to prevent the cloudy mess from disintegrating skins. The filling tasted fine, but again, overall flavors and balance was marred. I did, however, enjoy the lenon tea that comes with every combination meal.
