Smoke & Fire is one of the most flavorful bbq places I've visited in Riverside hands down. It doesn't hurt that they have great beer. We walked in for lunch and were greeted by Ant who helped us decide on the perfect IPA. She let me try the hazy IPA which was awesome because I'm super picky about my beer. Thanks Ant, you're awesome! My mom got the Sad Mom seltzer which was great as well and I don't like seltzers at all so you know it had to be good. I got the hot chicken sandwich and I'm glad I got it medium because it came with a little kick! Medium is so perfect. The smashburger comes with an in n out style spread which I really dig. I've been here a few times now and have always enjoyed dining here! I was craving some chicken tenders so I decided to get the spicy chicken tenders which came with bread and some pickles. One thing to note is that it doesn't come with fries but you do get a sizable three tenders instead of two that you'd get at other places so it's a fair trade off. Tenders were really good! Flavorful and super juicy. Medium was perfect for me as it packed a punch without being too spicy. I think I've gotten their brisket on other occasions which was solid as well. This is a good spot to dine in canyon crest plaza, one of my favorite plazas in the city. Can't go wrong here! read more

Both dishes were delicious - all elements well-made with flavors that worked really well together. The brisket in the Build Your Own bowl was a bit more tender as it was in larger slices as opposed to shredded. The pup patty was a mix of crispy pieces and very tender and juicy, which our little guy loved. Sometimes when we get him pet-specified food from restaurants it leads to upset stomach, but not here! Service: We came here particularly because we knew their patio was pet friendly, but little did we know that our little guy was allowed to walk in to order at the counter with us, and would get a perfectly made patty just for him! The Mac Rib ($35) - butter toast sandwitching a slab of beef rib, bed of rib bits, and finally a beef patty. The slab of beef rib itself was well smoked with a gradient of seasoning caramelized into the meat. Picking that apart was a bit messy but very tasty. Some of my friends and I came here for a quick bite after work. We ordered at the counter and then they gave us a number to take to our table. I really liked that their menu had so many pictures because it made ordering that much easier! We sat outside and the waiter brought our food out for us. There was music playing but pleasant and not too loud. The bathroom was clean and well maintained! I ended up getting the brisket quesadilla and it was delicious! I loved that they crisped up the cheese on the outside to give it a nice crunch when you bite into it! It was gooey on the inside, the meet was cooked very nicely and was juicy, and with that crispy exterior, it was all things a good quesadilla should be! I also got a mango margarita which had nice mango flavor but i couldn't taste any alcohol. they were offering free refills during happy hour so perhaps that was why.
