Little Busy Bee in Clinton Md. I was referred to this family style daycare. Children aren't…read morelearning anything. So here I go there is a lady by the name of Dionne/Deon one of the most nastiest 30/40 aged woman. This woman is mean AF to children and the owner Mrs.Warren is reluctant to change. She is no better. If a parent has concerns of a child's identified having being treated mean or isolated. They single the child/children out and Mrs Warren is contacted as the owner to follow up yet she is so unbothered about parents concerns. Warren will cover her staff wrong doing up. We were originally referred from friends and coworkers that the business has gone down from what I've been told it once was very good. Dionne/Deon and Warren both only want money. When we first enrolled we were told breakfast and evening stack would be provided and child should bring lunch daily. Ok sounds easy enough right nope weeks later after starting they advise do not bring lunch that require being warmed, etc. my baby doesn't care for sandwiches etc. but ok we adjusted then we receive a message saying afternoon stacks will NO longer be provided then we start adding additional snacks our baby likes and then we're informed he/she is not given the snacks because other children can't have the same. Keep in mind these kids ages range from 2-4 in age. Our baby has been withdrawn but I tell you to be very hesitant they have no cameras for parents in 2023. They don't like unscheduled pop ups. These two ladies have the staff shook to their core. Dionne/Deon snatch's kids push and shove when reported to Mrs Warren the OWNER her responses are vague and is never about the child. Often stealing kids/children belongings. Also throwing children food out before they've finished eaten an set at a table for very long periods of time. I had to add my own camera and honey this place is GHetto and a scam. I want to have them inspected for a wellness check for the other kids. Mrs. Warren had 2 locations and 1 closed because of Covid but scamming parents sending nasty text messages begging for registration every month for end of year, spring, summer and fall all within a 35 days timeframe is not realistic. This is a black owned business and truly wanted to see them WIN but this place is a hole in a wall like a dirty Carryout that you come in and decide to leave because it looks shady. #Littlebusybee stop being ghetto, #mrswarrenstopprotectingstaffversechildren. That is what you are there for. The love of children is not there specialty. People if you don't care for children please get out of the business. This is scary for all involved and it breaks my heart when children are mistreated. I will always advocate for mines but I won't be silent when I witness or hear of anyone's child being missed treated. Oh yes and they have it hot as hell like a sauna. I could go on and on. Last thing when they don't care for parents they are means as hell to your child/children. I hope this lands on the right desk. Below mediocre services.

When we toured the school everything looked to be in order the principal Mrs. Scott was very pleasant and had really updated the school over the last few years. The school was organized which my sons other school lacked. The beginning of school was great, orientation new parents learned all the rules of the school and the kids got a chance to meet their teacher and classmates. The week before school started at a meeting with the parents and teachers we found out that the kindergarten class had 28 kids in the class, mouths dropped and you heard a big gasp in the classroom. After the announcement parents started to look around and talk in smaller groups about how we are paying for a private school why are the classes so large. We were told that the classroom can hold up to 30 kids and if 2 more enrolled they would accept them at any time during the school year. This should have been my first red flag clue and I should have run for the hills with my refund check in my back pocket. The class size was so large they had to convert the library into the kindergarten room in order to accommodate everyone. The kindergarten class had 2 teachers in the room so should I say 1 main teacher and 1 aid. The first couple weeks of school went pretty smoothly my son was happy and during well, after those 2 weeks passed that was it his mood had changed. I begin getting phone calls on a daily basis from him teacher saying that he wasn't paying attention and making strange noises in class. This wasn't my kid they were talking about, he had been to school prior and they only thing he would get a note home for is talking to much (he's a chatty boy). The phone calls went on like this for days finally I met with the teacher and the lady really got under my skin saying that maybe there are problems at home that are causing him to behave this way and maybe you should have him speak with a professional. As a parent who has raised your child for 5 1/2 years with no prior problems like this you start to get a little red in the face and want to go on attack mode. I calmly told her thank you for suggestions I'll talk with my son. After a long conversation he told me he was disrupting the class because that was the only way to get the teachers attention. He never got called on to answer questions or write on the smart board for 56 days (the class did calendar every morning so they knew how many days they had been in school). It broke my heart to know that everyday a question was called on and his had would be up he was being picked over. This is a private school with 28 5-6 year olds, after looking at the other classes and talking with the parents it seemed that the class sizes were growing in every classroom and parents were frustrated. Besides the class size the curriculum was sub-par, my son was bringing home work he had done when he was 3 in pre-school. Oh the principal Mrs. Scott was a reputation of dodging parents and avoiding any questions. It's amazing what you find out after you get in the school, just because the wrapping on the outside is pretty doesn't mean the pieces inside aren't broken. I pulled my son from St. John the end of November and moved him into a wonderful Christian school where he has 13 kids in the class and his behavior changed over night. St. John was not a good fit for my family so good luck to you if you sign your child up. Also please ignore your child's teacher when they say he or she may be ADHD, I've been told multiple times those initials get thrown around a lot when a child "acts out" in class.

Our daughter went from an A student to a C student. My wife sat in the class for 10 minutes and could not believe how disrespectful the students were to the teacher. The teacher had no control and the learning environment was bad. The Principal did nothing. We pulled our daughter out and enrolled her in to St John's. The staff is great and we are very happy with the school. Down side is the 500.00 monthly payment. You get what you pay for.

Then one day, by chance, I met Yudith at a park. We talked, and she invited me to visit her daycare, which happened to be close to where we live. When we walked in, we couldn't believe how beautiful, clean, and organized everything was. And on top of that, she seemed so honest and kind. Today, a year later, we can confidently say that Yudith isn't just as wonderful as she appeared--she's truly an incredible woman. My daughter adores her like an aunt, and Yudith has taught her so much! This month, our daughter started Pre-K and is well ahead for her age, thanks to her time with Yudith. Yudith follows the Montessori method, encouraging freedom of expression, fun, and friendship, while also maintaining a solid routine and impeccable transparency. It's a small daycare with only a few children, so the attention is highly personalized. You always know how your child is doing, what they're learning, how they're living--whether it's how they sleep, eat, or play. If you love your children dearly and can enroll them in this daycare, do it! It's a gift that will last them a lifetime. Yudith has been a blessing not only for my daughter but for our entire family. She has so much experience, is transparent, kind, and responsible. I can't emphasize enough how important these qualities are. She's organized and dedicated--we couldn't have been luckier. Our daughter was in the best hands we could have ever imagined. Oh, and the daycare is bilingual! The price is very reasonable, and we don't have a single complaint.

My child attended approx. 9yrs. ago and from the sound of things, in reading the recent comments, things have not changed; they are as egregious as they have always been. I will spare you all the details, but everything that these parents are complaining about is true. If your gut is telling you something is wrong, trust it because it is. If your children do not want to go, don't make them, you will pay for it later (therapy is expensive). Don't wait if CPS does nothing send the letters, get police reports. Mad I didn't do this. Facts: 1. Children are left alone in the classroom (no teachers) 2. children are abused, I watched the grandson of the owner, and the son of one of the teachers (who has one good eye) kick at a baby and tell them to shut up, he was very aggressive (probably still is), and hope to GOD that he is not working there. My child was hit, slapped, etc., and hit by other students (I believe purposely, at the teacher's direction). By the way, the worker saw me there and said stop, did nothing. 3. the daughter is Rude, downright ghetto, and is relatable toward babies. 4. The owner is a liar and appears to be knowledgeable and caring, but I think she is downright deceitful and knows everything that takes place there. 5. I saw a comment about Soberity, There was a "white woman" there, who seemed nice, but had an issue present past, at the time, with substance abuse, it was apparent. Is this the same person, I don't know, but not far-fetched. This place needs to be shut down, and arrest probable should be made. And a complaint with the CDC, Attorney General's office, or something. Consumer Affairs, I know parents have to work and it is hard, but your children can be permanently effected and you have to choose, these years are precious and they will never get it back. Please follow your guts!!!!

Before coming to them with my first child I went through a few day cares in the area and as a new parent, I was not satisfied with their level of care and attentiveness of my child. I found HDC and haven't thought once about leaving. My first child is now in 2nd grade and I now have my second child there. HDC has a heavy focus on learning and development. Ms Marshall runs the daycare and preK program very professionally, but also with care (especially for the kids AND the parents.) I would definitely recommend this daycare for anyone seeking quality care for their children.
