Initially it looked great and they spoke a good game however over the last couple years calcium build up began all over the hot tub and tiles falling off. We tried to contact them for "warranty" work but they never would respond or come out. We had Delgado Elite Pools come out and confirm no barrier was placed under the tiles, concrete was put over materials it shouldn't be, our "waterfalls" were not built correctly causing water to flow unevenly and leave stains. All of it needs redone now and the thousands and thousands of dollars we paid PAY LESS POOLs was a waste. Do NOT use this company unless you plan having the work redone correctly by a reputable company in a very short time. ZERO stars. Let's stop fraudulent businesses with their poor workmanship. Long, long, long story short: AVOID PIETRI POOLS AT ALL COSTS!!!…read more Long, long long story: I was referred to Pietri Perfect Pools by my home owner's warranty. What a disaster. William was rude, condescending, arrogant, and did less than shoddy work. The spider gasket in my multi-port valve was allowing water to go down the waste line. William came to my house, checked out my equipment and recommended replacing my entire filter. I had the original stainless steel filter and didn't want to switch to a fiber glass filter. He said it was possible to replace the multi-port valve, but it would take more time and effort. When I told him I wanted to keep the stainless steel filter he stopped returning my phone calls. I called the home owner's warranty to get them to contact him. I said I only wanted the work done if I kept my filter. I came home one day to find a fiber glass filter installed without my sign off. I called to get the stainless steel one back, but he said he had already thrown it in the trash. He was so flippant about the whole thing. I dreaded any contact I had to have with him. He didn't check his work either. When I turned on the pump, water shot out of the water line leading into the pump. It was like a geyser. I called him to tell him that he forgot to put the glue on that union joint. He told me I had probably done something wrong. I sent him a photo of the union and he said he would "look into it when he could". I complained to the home owner's warranty about his service, attitude, and workmanship. They logged my complaint, but to my knowledge people are still getting bad service from this guy. To top it all off, the plumbing he had "installed" started leaking soon after he installed it. This happened when we were actually getting rain, so I didn't notice the water near the filter and my water level wasn't dropping. I called him to get him to come check out what was happening. He said I would have to contact the home owner's warranty. I did, but they said it had been more than 60 days since my first call (not since he had actually done the work) so they wouldn't cover it. They said they could send him back out, but it would be an additional service call fee. He wouldn't take care of his work in good faith even after I explained the situation to him. I had to call the home owner's warranty again. I requested anyone besides Pietri Perfect Pools. Another service company (who gave me excellent service, attitude, and workmanship) come to inspect the work. Apparently Pietri Perfect Pools used PVC on the pump connection instead of the heat resistant CPVC which would have prevented the warping which occurred when the pump heated up during normal use. The second service provider said that he probably saved $8 by using the cheaper grade connectors. The second service provider came to my house twice. Once to inspect the equipment, and the next with the parts to fix the problems (all of which I did not actually list here) created by Pietri Pools. On both occasions he left my home to re-service homes previously serviced by William Pietri. Needless to say: EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED, IRRITATED, and PISSED OFF by this man and his "service".

Short story - find another pool company to work with. I'd give them 0 stars if Yelp allowed it…read more Long story - These guys were assigned by AHS to service our pool twice. The first time - I was losing water in our negative edge basin. The guy came out and said he thought we had a leak somewhere and that we need to contact a leak detection company. He said they may need to jackhammer our patio to get to the plumbing and it's a really big deal. Basically got me all freaked out. So I contacted the leak detection company and the guy said - "before we go tearing up your pool deck, have you looked at the check valves? That's usually the issue." I told him I thought Pietri would have checked that but I had the company who does our weekly cleaning look at them just in case, and sure enough that was the problem. They just went ahead and fixed it since it was such a small, quick fix. So instead of a $20,000, multi-week repair that Pietri was telling me...it cost $50 and took 15 minutes. The second time - had a malfunctioning heater. Again, American Home Shield sent these guys. Same guy who told me I needed to jackhammer my patio / pool deck came out, fiddled with the heater for a few minutes and then said he couldn't fix it because the filter needed to be cleaned and the heater wasn't getting enough water flow. Ok...I had my weekly cleaning guys clean the filter - they said it wasn't that bad and wouldn't be the cause of the heater not firing up in their opinion. So I requested American Home Shield send a DIFFERENT service provider. The new guys came out - said the heater had some bad parts that they need to order. I'm waiting for them to come back and fix the issue.

Kevin's team was very thorough and some of the most hardworking contractors we've ever worked with. They began work a few days after signing with the company and worked day in and day out until the job was complete. With weather factored in, our project took a little over two weeks. They also did a great demo on the wall of our baby pool, to convert it into a sun shelf. Kevin even came over after the job was complete for a full week, when we were out of town, and did everything to make sure the plaster and filter were fine.
