This review is an account of our experience with the fabrication & installation of a standard 2…read morefoot high, 300 foot wrought iron fence on top of our stucco wall around our property with 3 gates. Estimator Jesse took measurements and said the length of time was out 8-12 weeks for installation and take 2 days to install. I called the project coordinator to verify timeline, with the acknowledgment that they would try to do sooner. Over the proceding months there was no communication from the company. Unfortunately, we never heard from Armor unless I contacted them to find out the status. Almost 3 months later, I called the project coordinator for the 3rd time and found out they were supposed to go out that week and he forgot to let us know. I took a few days off from work & drove from out of state to be there. No one showed up for 3 days. I called the coordinator & he seemed surprised that they didn't show up. He called me back with information and promised they would be there Thursday morning. No one showed up that day and I called once again. Steve ensured me that they got stuck on another site but would be there Friday to start and Monday to finish. This meant that I could not return to work after taking an entire week off. Monday transpired and they didn't finish. There were 4-6 guys on the job-site, headed by a supervisor who was mostly standing around talking and watching or he was on his phone. The entire group would work for an approximately 15-25 minutes, then take a 40 minute break. All would congregate together either on the golf course or out in the driveway. Then they would depart at 9:30 am for an hour+ lunch break. I'm not one to micro-manage, but I noticed the sincere lack of motivation to finish the job. The metal screws they drilled into my stucco were done so haphazardly at an angle with large gaps between stucco and wrought iron and also left behind large holes with large areas of stucco missing in the surrounding. I purchased stucco and was restuccoing the areas myself as they were working. The supervisor offered to have one of his team do this if I gave them the stucco. At the end of the next day they said they did not get the right parts powder-coated and the company forgot to fabricate the 3 fence-gates. So, they would need to come back in a week or two. I gave them a specific two day window to schedule the final installation when I could be there which was approximately 3-weeks from that day. I once again took off work & drove back on that date. The crew never showed up and coordinator never called me. I gave up. Three more weeks transpired, and I got a call that the fence parts and gates were ready. I set it up for the soonest available, and drove back over to Arizona. Two guys showed up, Dakota and another gentleman. Dakota was very polite and respectful. They spend a day trying to hang one 40 inch gate. First they installed it to high, then they took it down and did it the correct height and got started on a second driveway gate. They realized they didn't have the correct parts powder-coated yet again for the self closing doors. They also didn't have time to finish the other 2 gates so they came back the next day with another 4 guys, some were part of the initial job. They all sat around and watched as one was drilling holes. They were loud, laughing shouting and overall just not a professional group. Although I was grateful that the job was finished, I wouldn't recommend using this company unless you have 4-6 months to wait.

They did a great job on our palm trees and another tree. Will definitely use them again.read more

I am sad to write a negative review. #1. It is difficult if not impossible to reach them except…read morethru this yelp site I had to use yelp 3 times to get a hold of them. They responded immediately when I did. Be careful using them . They do not use a hedge trimmer for bushes but a long poled weed wacker. Needless to say the trimming is minimal and its not even. They were suppose to treat a mesquite for bark beetle . I asked to send me the treatment product they would be using. This was on a Friday. Isiah got back and said it would happen on Monday due to his being out of town . Monday came and went. I requested it again and was sent a picture but not the product they would be using. When the mesquite was trimmed (all dead limbs were NOT removed )but held off on a later date due to a beetle infestation according to Isiah. They were suppose to do the job on the 27th. Again they were a no show but showed up on the appointed time on the 28th. I wanted to see the infestation that Isiah said my tree had. He showed me old dead wood with holes in it. I asked him again where the infestation was and he became upset with my inquiry stating that the beetle was not active now ( they were going to use stuff that one used for an ACTIVE infestation). When I questioned what was the point he stated he was going to use granules for any future infestation. He then refused to do the job since I insisted on seeing the "active" infestation. He also said any negative reasons on yelp would be taken down. Hmmn. If you use this service there are things that need to be considered; Will they show up when they say they will. Can you contact them without using yelp? Proper tools being used? They broke off a fair amount of my cacti so make certain ground level plants are PROTECTED from falling branches They are hard workers yet I think more experience ,proper tools and better communication will be a benefit to all.
