The procedure was far from expectations. The young lady could not speak any English at all. My wife figured that was the reason that the pedicure technician did not say anything when she cut my wife's toe. According to my wife the cut was bad enough that the tech had trouble controlling the bleeding. When my wife asked what she was doing. The tech could only nod her head yes. She never reported the accident to her supervisor. My wife was ignored when she mentioned the incident. There was no apology from the tech or manager. I know accidents happen. And not everyone speaks English. Wy wife has encountered these issues in the past without issue. However the doing a unsatisfactory job. And the lack of caring for the customers well-being. Is the reason for the one star.

I spent a good amount…read moreof time researching on Yelp to avoid wasting money at a chop shop and finally decided on Xtreme based on some recent pictures and mostly good reviews. I'm aware that there are technicians of all different skills levels but in general, in my opinion, if you're employed as a nail tech, you should be able to do the most basic service at the very least. I had asked for a full set, coffin-shaped, medium-length. I ended up with a shorter nails (it's pretty pointless for me to get acrylics if they end up short) and an odd shape in between coffin, square and almond. The reason for this is because the technician excessively filed the nails to the point that they looked shaped in between coffin and almond so I asked that he filed the very tips even more to square them out a bit. He also excessively filed to where some of my cuticles broke skin and are tender. The acrylic overlay was laid on very thick and the paint job was poorly done if you look closely at the base of the cuticles. I feel bad writing this review because he seemed to be super detailed in his steps and took about two hours (which was the indicator that he seems to need more practice because a typical set of medium length acrylics normally doesn't take longer than 1.5 hours from my experiences). Hence why I gave two stars for his hard work and time spent. The price was fine ($50, I also left a 20% tip despite my unhappiness). No shade to the technician because again I understand everyone has different skill sets and he worked very hard on them, but unfortunately it's not a restaurant where I can send something back I'm unhappy with and sadly, I really want to get a new set elsewhere but will have to wait as fresh acrylics are difficult to remove, so that's hard-earned money wasted.
