They are the best Nail Salon anywhere. I have used them before this location and have always been wonderful. Van and the ladies do an amazing job at taking care of your requests. The hand painted designs are always unique and the quality is top notch. No matter where I go or what city I am in I always get compliments on my nails. It's a wonderful feeling just to sit down relax and not think about what you want to do, they will even take care of that also. The pedicures you will need a nap after!! I was visiting family from out-of-state and am very particular with my nails. I spent a good amount of time researching on Yelp to avoid wasting money at a chop shop and finally decided on Xtreme based on some recent pictures and mostly good reviews. I'm aware that there are technicians of all different skills levels but in general, in my opinion, if you're employed as a nail tech, you should be able to do the most basic service at the very least. I had asked for a full set, coffin-shaped, medium-length. I ended up with a shorter nails (it's pretty pointless for me to get acrylics if they end up short) and an odd shape in between coffin, square and almond. The reason for this is because the technician excessively filed the nails to the point that they looked shaped in between coffin and almond so I asked that he filed the very tips even more to square them out a bit. He also excessively filed to where some of my cuticles broke skin and are tender. The acrylic overlay was laid on very thick and the paint job was poorly done if you look closely at the base of the cuticles. I feel bad writing this review because he seemed to be super detailed in his steps and took about two hours (which was the indicator that he seems to need more practice because a typical set of medium length acrylics normally doesn't take longer than 1.5 hours from my experiences). Hence why I gave two stars for his hard work and time spent. The price was fine ($50, I also left a 20% tip despite my unhappiness). No shade to the technician because again I understand everyone has different skill sets and he worked very hard on them, but unfortunately it's not a restaurant where I can send something back I'm unhappy with and sadly, I really want to get a new set elsewhere but will have to wait as fresh acrylics are difficult to remove, so that's hard-earned money wasted. This is ombré style acrylic full set. I chose the chisel brand acrylic powder, color is one of the blue glitter tones with off white at the base, ombré into the blue. This is the best powder. Long lasting. Best effect also. Easy to work with and doesn't droop when shaping up. My favorite! This salon is the only one in Tulsa area that I found uses chisel powder!! My fave salon in Oklahoma. The artists are very friendly and helpful. Patient with me to pick my color. I made an appt over the phone so I would be sure to not wait. Worth the drive from Claremore area. The only reason I didn't give 4 stars was because I prefer to have places that sterilize there instruments between uses. First all of all, I don't write negative reviews and I give companies a lot of grace, especially during the last couple of years. But I feel the need to warn others. I have used Xtreme Nails on and off for several years. I'm rarely pleased, but they are convenient so after time passes I always give them another chance and hope for improvement. But never again! Their work doesn't last and they are rude to customers. I can't believe they are still in business. This time I have learned my lesson. I want to recommend this place since I've had such a great experience time after time! Wi, is amazing! He really takes the time to do it right and can do more of the technical stuff that is hard to get in Tulsa. I've tried endless salons (Lux, Passion, Odette, Bebe etc.) and he goes beyond what they can do. Another thing I love about this place is the excellent customer service; they speak English and accept appts. which keeps u from waiting around. So my friend wanted to get a pedicure and I went with her. We didn't know where to go, because I'm not too familiar with nail salons. I've never had a pedicure done before. I suppose they are okay. My friend had the lady and I got the guy who didn't say a word to me. He would tap my foot when he either needed it or wanted it back in the water. I think he didn't know I was Vietnamese and he would say RUDE comments to his fellow co-worker in Vietnamese about me. I'm not the kind to write bad reviews, but he had terrible customer service. It was unprofessional. If you do decide to go there, I would recommended not having him do it. The lady was nice. I wish I knew their names. I personally would not go back. Unfriendly tech!!!!!!!!
