    Prosciutto Barrata Crostini

We arrived at 4pm for our first visit to this restaurant with great expectations. First it is very difficult to find. Their signage consisted of a 3x3 sign on a chair in front of the door. The staff consisted of two people a bartender/waiter and very busy chef. The menu had none of the traditional charcuterie offerings and none that were as sumptuous as those shown on their website. We ordered drinks and two boards one arrived in a reasonable time....the second a full half hour later. There were only four other patrons at that time but the chef was busy filling many to go orders. The boards were fine, well prepared and fresh but certainly uninspired when compared to their website. They have a full bar with several beer offerings and well prepared specialty martinis at $16.

Recently celebrated a girlfriend's birthday here and had a wonderful time. We were a group of seven and shared a traditional small board, Mezze small board, Rumba small board, Big Texas half board and Ope half board. All delicious and beautifully put together. Nicely crafted cocktails and great wine selection. We will be coming back!

Cute place! The waiter was amazing and he was so helpful with what to order. Traditional was so good and such a great variety, artisan was super flavorful and unlike any other food. So glad we tried this restaurant!

What a great addition to the Georgetown food scene! The presentation, food and service were excellent. We went for Happy Hour to celebrate my friends birthday. A delicious complimentary Amuse Bouche was brought to the table by the owner while we were looking at the menu. We decided on the wine flights and 2 boards( traditional and mezze). The flights include 3 full glasses of wine and not just a tasting serving. There is also a full bar and signature cocktails available as well. Both the boards we ordered were beautifully presented and delicious. Our server, Erica, did a good job of explaining what was on each board and was very attentive to the table. One of the owners, Latoya, came by our table several times to chat. The falafel on the mezze board was some of the best that I have ever had. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. A beautifully presented deconstructed cheesecake was brought to my friend for her birthday as well as a complimentary palette cleanser of avocado ice cream for each of us. These is a great place for a special occasion, girls night, date night or just because. The larger dinner boards are pricey, but would be perfect for a larger group. The kitchen is open air style, so you can see everything that the chefs are doing. You also have the option of sitting at the bar or a table. We loved our whole experience and can't wait to return. They also have a loyalty program through the Toast app so that you can earn points towards dollars off on future visits. Everyone needs to go support this new business!!!

Great date night spot! We loved the Big Texas board. I tried new foods and everything was delicious. It fed both of us with some leftovers. We also both ordered a wine flight. I can't wait to go back and try a different board. Tip: the restaurant has a limited number of tables so make a reservation if that's important to you, but we enjoyed sitting at the bar. The service was quick and friendly. The bartender was knowledgeable about the boards and gave great recommendations.

    Bloody Mary flight

So delish! We got the steak and eggs and the toast boards. They were so good! The Bloody Mary flight was also yummy!

Custom Vegetarian board, La Familia board

Wow! The most interesting cocktail menu I've ever seen (and I owned a mixology contest) and the three cocktails we tried were fantastic. The mushroom tarts are phenomenal. The Mezze board is on point - we tried three other boards and could not find fault with any of them. For those who might say the meal is pricey, you get what you pay for!

Menus are amazing! Staff is amazing! Can't wait to come back

My husband and I are already interested after one visit in checking out pricing for possibly renting out the space for an event of our own. The bathrooms are gender neutral BUT when you go in there the different stall doors have only one label, guys or gals, on the door which is very confusing to people entering the bathroom or waiting for stalls and thinking maybe the guys labeled stall only has a urinal or something but they're all the same toilet. It has a very classy, purposefully dated look but was extremely cleaned and well maintained. They also have free guest Wi-Fi. The cocktails are a little pricey for the area, but the venue space and the quality of the drinks were well worth the price. They actually have a quite expansive menu of drink options as well. Definitely needs more seating options for the drink window area if they plan on having more open hours days for people to randomly come in and enjoy a specially crafted drink. I can't wait to see what this place turns into!

The waitstaff were all very kind and attentive. The food felt very overpriced for what we received. The brunch fruit bowl I received consisted of four thin slices of strawberry (not even one strawberry), two pineapple chunks and no more than 15 blueberries. The ham and eggs Benedict was borderline flavorless and the egg white was cold and runny. I love a good poached egg, but it was more liquid than poached. The tequila sunrise was musky and the flavor of the tequila overwhelmed the rest of the drink. I really wanted to like this place! However, I spent $35 on a pretty pitiful brunch meal. The restaurant seating area and decor were all nice. The bathroom had no music and is small and cramped (you can't get paper towels without either blocking the door or a stall). The people were kind and attentive enough that I probably would try it again? Maybe Sunday brunch or a different meal entirely.

The food was genuinely excellent, and the service was warm and attentive throughout. The bed was also a standout -- more comfortable than what I've experienced at most four-star hotels. I also loved the in-room Nespresso machine, which was a great touch. The only drawbacks are the location and setting. It's not ideal if you want to be close to a more metropolitan, walkable area, and being right on the creek means there can be quite a few bugs, especially in the evening. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a relaxing, stylish getaway with great food and very comfortable rooms.

This charming, quaint boutique hotel is located in a residential neighborhood in Round Rock, TX. The Ruby Hotel & Bar is situated along Brushy Creek in historic downtown Round Rock. The hotel has 39 uniquely designed rooms and suites, in the suburbs of Austin, TX. The hotel blends mid-century modern design with natural surroundings, creating a chic vibe. The property is distinctly divided into to major buildings...the hotel and the bar. There is a random small building up front also...not sure what that buildings for. There is also outdoor seating, which would be pleasant in the summer. Last night we had freezing temperatures, so sub-optimal for seating outside. When we entered the bar, we felt transported to another place in time. Retro looking furniture at the entry with finger dialed phones...my nieces and nephews would likely not have any idea what these little machines called telephones were. The bar was a mix of old - building built in the 1960s....new - modern mirrors and bar. There was signage at the front of the bar that stated to seat yourself and place your order from the bar (different set up...for sure). We ordered the hummus plate minus pita bread plus more cucumbers. Alan, our server was very accommodating to make that switch. We had herbal hot tea (chamomile and pomegranate berry). We listened to the 3 person band, who sang music from Johnny Cash to Bob Marley and so many different genres in between. What a lovely evening...date night score!
