Peach cobbler is nasty. No breading at all, just peaches in puree!
    Alexa J.

The Monte Cristo was good with the sauce. Spicy ketchup is also really good. Want to come back with my husband so he can try the Reuben. I think they recently updated their menus. Was dissatisfied at a previous to-go pick-up of their peach cobbler because it was just puree which I found disgusting.

No wait time. We were seated right away. The ambiance was inviting with nice decor. Plenty of TV's. Our sever Paulina was fantastic, with plenty of personality plus. She is the true definition of Customer Service. She was always checking in on us to make sure that we were okay. She gave excellent suggestions. We ordered Just Winging it Lemon Pepper Wings with Blue Cheese dipping sauce and Salmon Street Tacos. Oh my goodness the food was exceptional, it was served her hot and flavorful. Just delicious. Hats off to the cooks. We will be back when we're in town.

Prime rib and donuts in the same brunch.... Need I say more?!? Best buffet brunch we've tried in a long time plus! Lots of TV for Sunday football!

The menu with fried pork chop, chicken picatta and more is dated. Was disappointed with the new menu not being posted. Service, hostess was good, gave good suggestions. Waitress... very disappointed in her. Asked if the food came out ok? As she was walking ( couldn't even stop to ask) but NEVER ONCE ASKED WOULD YOU LIKE ANYTHING ELSE. I ordered an appetizer, of course I wanna order a meal but I didn't even bother. Clearly she rather not be of assistance. Go to Scratch Kitchen better Services. Food was just ok, ranch was bland, but the chicken tenders was nice, hot, juicy n tender! Cooked too perfection!

Came here for a conference across the street. Always has great drinks and the food was AMAZING! Perfect sandwich to pair with an espresso martini or two. The bartenders and servers are the sweetest and I love coming here when we come in town. Plenty of seating and room inside. They also have a walk up bar with seating on the outside as well.

Hard Count Kitchen & Cocktails Don't "count" this spot out!!!! My sister and I went for lunch yesterday. We sat outside. It's a great spot to people watch and is in the main concourse of the area that has games and a green space for families to enjoy. We had one of THE BEST waitresses that you can ask for! Her name (I believe) was Haley (sp?)! We ordered the fried mushrooms with ranch, Chicken Picatta and, the New York Reuben. The mushrooms were unbelievable!!!!! There is a light and crispy breading that doesn't take away from the mushroom flavor. I'll post a pic, but we had already started digging in. The Chicken Piccata was better than I could get at an authentic Italian spot. The chicken was moist, lightly breaded, and juicy. The sauce was light and flavorful and, the pasta was perfectly al dente. My sister ordered the Reuben and it was fantastic! The only unfortunate part was that the sauerkraut was missing from the sandwich. We didn't complain as it was still wonderful!!!! This was one of our top ten places to have a nice Saturday lunch. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!!!! 9.5 due to no sauerkraut. Other than that, this place is the BOMB!!!!! -- with Jen Karney Michna.

Avoid unless you like tasteless food. A vegetarian in TX never a good combo I guess. Selected this place next to my hotel for the beyond burger and guac. Guac is tasteless mush no seasoning and chips just ok and overly salted. When I went to order the beyond burger they said they don't have it anymore just haven't taken it off the menu. When I asked about other vegetarian options I was told I could either order a salad and remove the protein or they will make veggie enchiladas. I ordered the enchiladas and they were horrible with no flavor or seasoning. I did not any of my food or my Paloma mule which was all mix and not enjoyable. I would avoid this place if you want flavor and especially if you are a vegetarian.

Exceptional service today while visiting with friends for happy hour. Carolann happened to be our server of the night and showed hospitality at its finest. The manager Jessie even stopped by the table as well. 10/10 experience we will be back again.

I was not really impressed with this restaurant. We were a large party of 10. The server was nice. All of our drinks came out, kind of slow and a different times and at different times. The food dishes came out about the same time. Those in our party who ordered the salmon really enjoyed it. I ordered the Ruben. it was not very impressive. It came with fries that were sparsely scattered on the plate. The cranberry Rita was a seasonal drink. It came in a martini glass. The drink itself was tart, and there was a sugar rim on the glass.

    Good food in Austin?

Yes. North Austin in the quaint town of Georgetown Texas. Good food, service and unexpected ambiance. Check it and the Historic Georgetown Square. Gordon Ramsey and Guy Fiery have both visited our many restaurants.

Hello, is this place dog and kid-friendly?

We love dogs and kids! Our patio is dog-friendly and our entire restaurant is kid-friendly! Service animals are always welcomed.

My husband and I both have to use Rollators (walkers on wheels) and cannot walk far. So we obviously need Handicapped parking... Is there any available?

Hi! Yes there is handicapped parking closer to 2020.

    Where do you park?

We offer complimentary valet as well as free self-parking in Sheraton parking garage (behind the restaurant) and north lot.

Is Hard Count Kitchen & Cocktails really noisy? (Like many Sports bars)

There is moderate noise levels in the restaurant, but not really noisy. The front portion of the restaurant near the bar includes TVs, high top tables and bar seating. We do not have TV's in the back half of the restaurant where our booths and…

My husband and I are already interested after one visit in checking out pricing for possibly renting out the space for an event of our own. The bathrooms are gender neutral BUT when you go in there the different stall doors have only one label, guys or gals, on the door which is very confusing to people entering the bathroom or waiting for stalls and thinking maybe the guys labeled stall only has a urinal or something but they're all the same toilet. It has a very classy, purposefully dated look but was extremely cleaned and well maintained. They also have free guest Wi-Fi. The cocktails are a little pricey for the area, but the venue space and the quality of the drinks were well worth the price. They actually have a quite expansive menu of drink options as well. Definitely needs more seating options for the drink window area if they plan on having more open hours days for people to randomly come in and enjoy a specially crafted drink. I can't wait to see what this place turns into!

Anyway, we told the hostess we were fine with sitting on the patio and she sat us at a table to her left. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. We had selected our drinks, appetizers and entrees, and still after 15 minutes NO ONE had come to our table or even acknowledged us. My husband went to the hostess stand to ask if we had a server but she was inside for a long time while he waited, and waited and waited. The food was genuinely excellent, and the service was warm and attentive throughout. The bed was also a standout -- more comfortable than what I've experienced at most four-star hotels. I also loved the in-room Nespresso machine, which was a great touch. The only drawbacks are the location and setting. It's not ideal if you want to be close to a more metropolitan, walkable area, and being right on the creek means there can be quite a few bugs, especially in the evening. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a relaxing, stylish getaway with great food and very comfortable rooms.

This charming, quaint boutique hotel is located in a residential neighborhood in Round Rock, TX. The Ruby Hotel & Bar is situated along Brushy Creek in historic downtown Round Rock. The hotel has 39 uniquely designed rooms and suites, in the suburbs of Austin, TX. The hotel blends mid-century modern design with natural surroundings, creating a chic vibe. The property is distinctly divided into to major buildings...the hotel and the bar. There is a random small building up front also...not sure what that buildings for. There is also outdoor seating, which would be pleasant in the summer. Last night we had freezing temperatures, so sub-optimal for seating outside. When we entered the bar, we felt transported to another place in time. Retro looking furniture at the entry with finger dialed phones...my nieces and nephews would likely not have any idea what these little machines called telephones were. The bar was a mix of old - building built in the 1960s....new - modern mirrors and bar. There was signage at the front of the bar that stated to seat yourself and place your order from the bar (different set up...for sure). We ordered the hummus plate minus pita bread plus more cucumbers. Alan, our server was very accommodating to make that switch. We had herbal hot tea (chamomile and pomegranate berry). We listened to the 3 person band, who sang music from Johnny Cash to Bob Marley and so many different genres in between. What a lovely evening...date night score!

With my girlfriend coming into town, I knew it was the perfect chance. We booked a reservation ahead of time using OpenTable, and even though we showed up late, the owners Lawrence and Rachel were immediately friendly and accommodating to us. Located at the Affordable Storage shopping center just north of Hutto, Grapes & Rye is so comfortable inside that you don't even think about it being a converted storage unit. There's plenty of seating for parties of different sizes and chairs that are welcoming and comfortable for long visits. Their menu is impressively expansive with a seasonal fall menu and a regular menu packed with specialty cocktails, classics, and all the liquor needed to make anything you can think of. We were served water immediately once we sat down, which felt very inviting and made me feel welcomed in their space. On their big TV was the Wizards playing the Cavs, and there was the pinnacle of New Jack Swing and R&B playing inside. It was already a fantastic vibe. While we were debating our drinks, Lawrence came by, asked us what we liked, and made picks for us that we trusted. For me, he suggested an Aviation made with gin and maraschino liqueur that was practically glowing when placed in front of me. After my first sip, I patted myself on the back for a drink I didn't even choose. He nailed my preferences perfectly, and on top of that, the drink was one of the most refreshing and well-balanced cocktails I have ever had. As for my girlfriend, she was suggested a Vierre Caureux that she really seemed to enjoy. Our tastes in drinks are pretty different, but we both were very satisfied with Lawrence's suggestions. This led to us asking them about their origins and learning that Grapes & Rye is a passion project of theirs built on their love of bartending and cocktails. They do such a good job that it's hard not to imagine them doing it full time. We hung out for quite a while savoring our beverages before ordering another round. I ordered their Negroni that was easily one of the best Negronis I have ever had. It's so vividly impressive that I immediately want them catering all future events I go to, and I want to see them cater my wedding in like three years time. It's that good. My girlfriend got a Pink Lychee Spritz which she kept saying to me "that's really good" over and over again, showing that it wasn't just me who was impressed by their cocktail mastery. Next time she's in town, I know we'll be back because the drinks here are truly on a different plane of existence. Grapes & Rye has surpassed cocktail hour and become a cocktail experience, making beverages that are next level. They deserve all the success in the world, and it couldn't happen to a better duo. It was just four of us students with Lawrence and Rachel the owners, the perfect hosts. Lawrence explained every step and all the ingredients were measured out in little cups and this gave room for adding more or less of any ingredients, so you could make it your own depending on preferences. It reminded me of how they do this in cooking shows to save time and you can see at a glance all what goes into making a particular cocktail. The class was informative but also really fun. It was very special to have such an engaging experience. I felt among friends at their home. I felt their passion to make tasty imaginative drinks for others to enjoy. As well as teaching anyone interested in learning. A great thing to do for a date or with friends. It's a bit tucked away in an industrial area and their signage is discreet. Suite #28 on the end. That'll make sense once you're there. They've only been at this location since March but Lawrence and Rachel been in business a lot longer and are very knowledgeable in cocktail creations. They mainly do mobile bartending and bring all the bells and whistles to you, including how to make the special drinks. So if you're having a shindig, they're the ones to call to bring the cocktails and skill. I'm so happy to had the opportunity to experience this business and meet the owners.
