Folks from the beautiful flower shop nearby recommended this place especially the meatball casserole. The ambiance is nice and not too crowded. Unfortunately that also meant we could clearly hear a long speaker phone conversation coming from the kitchen. It went on and on in Spanish about personal matters and was distracting and unprofessional. Que molestoso escuchar toda su conversación señora! I walked into this place today 7/10/2026 at around 4:45 and sat down at the bar and waited for someone to get my drink order and offer a food menu. I'm okay with waiting for the bartender to get to me. Five minutes later two people came in and sat right next to me. The bartender immediately walked over to them and took their drink order and they already knew what they wanted so they ordered food. I figured since the bartender was right there she would then take my drink order. Nope. She entered the order in their POS and walked to the other part of the bar to check on other customers. The guy next to me actually made a comment about the great service. I don't blame him since they got immediate attention. Meanwhile I got there 5 minutes before they did and I hadn't been approached one single time. They already had their drinks and the food order was placed by the time I walked about 10 minutes after that. I doubt she even noticed. First visit to this establishment on the primary road through Florence. White board outside with Italian food specials which set an expectation very different than what was inside. Later afternoon. Walked into a low lit environment and immediately see a big brown couch with a child wearing headphones laying on it. Adjacent to it are several rows of tables pushed together where 8-10 could be seated. Very large bar and tables for 4 in the back. One customer at the bar. Off-putting ambiance. What customer are they trying to attract? Is it a restaurant that a family can go to or a bar with food?? Table ends were cluttered with rolls of paper towels on a holder, lucite frames with specialty beer lists and faded fake flowers.... Menu was a laminated white paper listing appetizers, salads, burgers, pizza and sandwiches and some Italian specialties. Server Shy was able to spend a few minutes with us since she had no other customers.We asked about pizza and ordered a garden salad - both to share. Salad was served in a tin take out container and no dish ware or napkins. Flimsy paper plates provided. Good food - surprised. Salad content was ample with greens and fresh shredded carrots and tomatoes. House made ranch and jalapeno ranch dressings were excellent. Salad moisture wet through doubled plates. The thin crust pizza was very good - sauce and cheese were both sufficient and so were the other toppings. We've tried numerous local pizza restaurants in the area and none are very good. Sauce and oils from the pizza also bled through double plates and food lost temperature immediately. Wouldn't consider any sauced entrees since spillage would be evident. Cooks must be decent. There are several casual restaurants and other shops on this street but all are often empty. I see very little to consistently attract patrons. Parking is also limited. read more

Great addition to Florence! Nice beer selection on tap. Full bar. Good menu. The pizza was delicious as were the fried pickles. Unfortunately the ranch was basic Hidden Valley. We saw a few other menu items at other tables and they all looked great. Excited to go back and try them soon. Service was nice. Everyone was very friendly. They were pretty busy by the time we left but still checked on us to see if we needed anything. Nice ambiance. Exactly what you'd want for a small town bar and grill. We actually wanted to go to another restaurant, but because it was closed on Saturday, we ended up at the Beer Market which was good fortune for us. We had a wonderful lunch, and our waitress, Penny, was amazing. I had the Philly Steak Hero which was so big, I took half of it home. It was delicious. My hubby had the bruschetta appetizer which was a meal in itself. He, too, took half of it home, and we both shared our meals for dinner. We loved the ambience of the restaurant. It was casual, full of TVs showing various sporting events, not noisy, and just plain fun. We will definitely return. read more

They had me at the appetizer: Artichoke dip with garlic-buttery toasted french bread. Oh, Lordy! Need I say more? I already knew how good their burgers were from one lunch visit with friends a few weeks ago (they raved about the Phily Steak Hero). We were also impressed by the beer selection--over a dozen options on tap. So I brought three others with me on a Tuesday night for a taste of their dinner entres. Four thumbs up from my party. My Stromboli was huge (I could only finish half). The others had the Lasagne, Shells, and the Hero. All agree--it well exceeded our expectations, both in quantity and quality. Their salads and some entres are served in to-go packaging, which makes a lot of sense to me (finished mine at home today). But if you are a fine dinner plate kind of consumer, you may not care for the Beer Market vibe. But there is more to like: The server named DeeDee treated us like we were the only customers in the (busy) place. The assistant chef stopped by twice to check on us as well. Very casual and friendly atmosphere. Not only is this already one of my favorite beer & burger places, I'd say it is now my favorite Italian restarant in the area. read more

There's not much happening in Florence Tx but this new Italian spot isn't too bad! They have several beers on tap, full bar, and the menu is decent too. We've had the Stromboli 3 times, the artichoke dip twice and supreme pizzza, all were excellent. It's a small town restaurant on Main Street, like I mentioned beforehand that there is little happening in this small town but this place is a hidden gem. We are only 7 minutes away so we find it handy to pop in, never too crowded and it beats fighting the massses of the restaurant in Killeen or Harker Heights. If you have the chance, stop by and give them a chance it's a great place with that small town feel. read more

We had lunch at Florence Beer Market on Main Street in beautiful downtown Florence, Texas. Our party had a mixture of cheeseburgers and pizza. The cheeseburgers were all cooked to perfection and big enough for any Texan. The pizza was great and the beer was ice cold. I had the Electric Jellyfish IPA brewed in Austin by Pinthouse. Excellent! They had several other beers that I want to try out on our next visits. Only 15 minutes from Sun City for a great new restaurant/ beer hall. read more

Rode in from Georgetown with the Georgetown Casual Bicycling Group. Was my first time in Florence so wasn't sure how safe our bicycles would be left outside unsecured. The owner Jon let us put in our bicycles which allowed us to eat our food calmly with peace of mind. I had the pleasure of having the meat pizza. I was full with one slice and it was so good, I just had to have a second slice. The jalapeño ranch, Jon's own delicious recipe, enhanced the pizza AND fries tremendously. I also had a Coconut porter beer which went well with the pizza. I can honestly say, this pizza is better than 600 Degrees AND Pinthouse Pizza. I'll be coming back on a bicycle and/or by car. Heck, I'd even walk there, it's that good. Oh yeah, Jon's super cool and friendly and he's fun to talk to. 10/10, two thumbs up, 5 stars etc. etc! read more
