I had 3 areas to patch: Two from a water leak / plumbing disaster affecting a wall and a ceiling. One from installation of a new water softener and whole house charcoal filter in the garage. I was especially concerned about the area behind the softener / filter because a 150+ lb. brine tank was now in the way of getting to the hole. Like David Copperfield... somehow Mat managed to move the brine tank as though it was stocked with Styrofoam packing peanuts rather than heavy salt pellets and magically squeeze himself into the tight area. The hole started off unattractive with new pipes going in every direction. The patch looks really nice, as if the system was original to the home. The other patches inside of my house look even better. Nobody would ever even know they were there. Once I finally get around to painting the areas, I hope to update this comment with the pics for you but until then, you have my word that it isn't possible for it to look any better. As an added plus, as a homeowner for over 20 years, he might be the only repairman I've ever seen actually show up right on time and even a little early. That alone is valuable. He took thoughtful care of one area by taking initiative to dampen the sound with insulation-- much appreciated. Mat responds promptly and is priced fairly.
