Imagine getting emails explaining about how they can no longer provide maintenance on our pavers - that they have serviced for more than a year - because they'll be unfamiliar with the pavers? Seriously. You'd think that seeing greenery on the floor of the garden and seeing tan stone squares on the floor makes it rather easy to distinguish which are pavers. It's remarkable -- see the pics of their emails for details. Initially, I hired them to remove the wrong tile sealant that another company used. They removed the sealant but in the process, their chemicals got into the pool and the pool needed to be drained and the walls were scrubbed before the chemicals were added to set up the pool. The bushes and plants around the property edge were also impacted - we lost several because of the chemicals they used. (Please see the pics that I texted them when this happened.) Initially, I put my reviews in the wrong "Perfect Paver" company and want to be sure to post this where it belongs - with this company out of Ohio, who serves our area and has a nearest office in Palm Beach Gardens. What a complete waste of money. In August, we paid $2,000 to have our patio cleaned and sealed with polymeric sand. The work took two afternoons, and when it was finished, it looked fantastic. Unfortunately, that only lasted about two months--weeds returned, the polymeric sand didn't stay in the joints, and now the patio has stains again. Despite regular cleaning, it looks just as it did before we spent $2,000. I've called and emailed the company, but they haven't responded or resolved the issue. Essentially, we spent $2,000 for a patio that only looked good for a couple of months. read more

IMPERFECT PAVER TJ came out to quote me for fixing some pavers in my driveway and patio that had shifted and lifted. He quoted me around $1700-1800, which I was going to accept, then 30 minutes later calls me back to tell me the quote has increased to $2200-2300 because of some roots they had to shave down under the back patio(which I was eventually told weren't even bad after they "fixed" the pavers). I wasn't going to accept the quote until he said he would split the difference at $2,000(which ended up being an overpay). Fast forward a couple weeks(December 4th) when Joe and another individual came out to fix the driveway and back patio. The job took half the time they told me it would and they simply just picked up the pavers, laid sand, then put them back. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until after I paid that they didn't lay any sand in between the pavers anywhere or install a cement border on the outside of the driveway(where the issue is) to prevent the pavers from shifting, and caving back out. So they essentially did half the job. I texted TJ the SAME DAY about the issues and he said he would get his guys out there to fix it, and he told me to just kick the pavers to make the gaps smaller. A week later I hadn't heard anything and reached back out and he tells me his guys went on vacation. 8 days later I reached back out and he tells me to contact their office. I contact their office 3 times over the following 3 weeks. Each time they assure me someone will come out to fix the issues; yet I still hear nothing. Finally, Joe texts me on Jan 13th, almost a month and a half after the original job and complaints. He asks for pictures/videos which I provide and asks if the following Wednesday works to fix the unfinished job, which I agree to. I ask what time would work and get no response. Then on Tuesday, Jan 21 (7 weeks after the initial job and complaints) I texted Joe to see if we need to reschedule because of bad weather. He responds the next day that he's looking at the forecast to see what day would work(no rain forecasted for the entire next week). And a week later I never heard anything back. At this point, 2 months after the initial job and complaint; and being so frustrated with the situation, we decided to get someone else to fix the original half done job; which costs us an additional $500. Best advice, stay away from (Im)perfect Paver. They get their money and run. Overpriced, half work, awful communication and customer service. read more

Perfect Pavers did a "perfect" job cleaning, sanding, and sealing my backyard pool patio and my front driveway pavers. My home is almost 20 years old, so I did not expect to get the dramatic before and after effect like some of the pcis in their ads, but I was extremely impressed with the results. The price is not cheap, but two men were here for two days, pressure cleaning on the first day, laying sand in all the joints and applying sealer the second day. The worst. They pressure washed dirt and debris into my pool. If you're smart you would aim away from the pool. Then they brushed a lot of polymeric sand into my pool, which caused various issues. And finally, they over sprayed sealer into my pool. What an absolute f**king mess. I also paid to fix and seal my travertine. They fixed half of what they were supposed to and they "enhanced" my travertine with sealer instead of SEALING it like they quoted and I paid for. These people suck. I installed a pool with a travertine deck around 5 years ago.. This year, I really wanted to restore the travertine, fix any broken tiles, re-level any sunken tiles, sand and seal to see if I could make my pool patio area look like brand new.. I thought the price was high, but I looked at their photos and decided that it was going to be worth the extra money. They showed up, they stripped the old sealer, they cleaned the patio and driveway, they did NOT clean the screened cage very well at all as was part of the estimate. They did neat work filling in the spaces between the pavers and bricks and then sealed everything. We kept the cars off the driveway and the furniture off the patio for two days. They were polite. The problems are that everything sticks to the sealer! Then they tried to sell me an "aftercare" package. The work was done on January 8th and 9th and they have ALREADY had to come back TWICE to clean marks off of the sealer. Different people talk to different people and the results are that things STILL stick to the sealer. The patio pavers are twenty years old, previously sealed twice and never had anything stick to the sealer. NOW they say it is better to do this process when it is not so cold. COLD? 50 degrees? Brendan and Max did a great job on our lanai and walkways. They steam cleaned, re-sanded and sealed the travertine, and re-leveled and added concrete to a few spots where the pavers had sunk or come loose. They were pleasant to work with and respectful of our home and property. They cleaned up daily, and most impressively, brought their own pool creeper to clean out the sand that had been blown into the pool in the process. Updated review-BEWARE! If you have an issue that is slightly out of the "norm" this company does not have the knowledge base to address it. I found this out the hard way. We had an issue with white spots on our pavers. After contacting several companies regarding this issue Perfect Pavers advised me they had an aftercare protocol to keep the white spots from coming back. 4 months after we had the pavers stripped and resealed the white spots were back. When I contacted them they advised me they DID NOT have a solution for this issue, only weed control aftercare? I decided to reach out to the owner of the company (who owns a pool and paver company in Ohio), explain what happened and ask if he could advise of a solution for my paver issue? Never received any type of response from the owner of the company. Called the company to see if they could help with a small project at a public school. They offered to do the job for no fee, as a community service. He (Charles) said they do that all the time. I had spoken to other companies who had also agreed to the job for a very small fee. Since this company said they do community projects all the time I felt comfortable with them. They were a no show and would not even answer the calls. They left the school in a really bad situation since it was now 3 days prior to their graduation and the pavers were a memory garden put in for the graduating class.
