I was super nervous to board my two dogs because I'd never left them with anyone other than close friends or family members. I felt good about my choice to board my boys here after speaking with the owner and learning about the facility. She asked me a lot of questions about my boys and it was clear to me that she cares about animals . I called to check on them often while I was away and I was kept informed of how they were doing. When I finally picked them up, after being boarded for a week, they were happy and clean. I would definitely feel comfortable using this facility again. read more

I boarded my Emotional Support Animal with Jennifer from May 4, 2023, to May 15, 2023. While under her care, my furbaby injested a piece of foam that ultimately caused her death. After contacting the owner, she informed me that my dog had been sick the entire time I was gone, and I wasn't notified. My baby lost 6 pounds while in her care and is now gone. Gave her the chance to make things right, but she doesn't feel it's her fault. If you love your furbaby, don't leave them with these people. read more

Boarded our 2 dogs for the first time ever with Cindy and her staff for 10 days. They were very well taken care of. When I would call to check on them and had to leave a message because they were busy, my calls were returned promptly. They always had a good update for me. A family run business ran out of their "barn". Iconic dog mail box. I've brought two different dogs here, a small and large dog, to get their nails cut. I've had no issues and still plan to keep bringing my baby girl here. They charge more or less for nail trim depending on how the dog behaves, and lucky for me, mine behave well. The workers are super nice and can often see the animal same day or next day. I recommend people to come here whenever I can. read more

They take great care of my older "hybrid" - read "mutt" - dog! She's going on 11 or 12 years old and has really thick hair. I get her groomed every 60-90 days to keep her comfortable. This is one of the best operations of its kind in the Akron/Canton area. They do a great job (she smells so good when I pick her up!), they are reasonably priced and she seems to be treated well. My only suggestion for improvement - it's a cash only business. They don't take checks or credit cards. read more

Boarded my puppy here for a weekend. Prices were amazing. BUT I almost took my puppy to the vet after picking her up because she had all the classics symptoms of a uti. It seemed like she had held her pee for a long time. Luckily the symptoms went away after a day and a half so she didn't need vet care. She had no problems before or since her weekend. The staff was very friendly so I'm hoping next time I take her will go better. read more

I am very disappointed in the car my dog received here. She has never had any issues in her crate. Is perfectly housebroken! We dropped her off for a long weekend complete with contact #, food she normally ate and toys. Upon picking her up , was greeted to a dog covered in feces and urine!!! Head to toe! Was told she knocked over her water bowl by the pick up personnel!!Brought her home and I can't tell you how disgusted we were at her condition! We found out she'd had explosive diarrhea for 2days!!! I wasn't contacted, nor my emergency contact. She layed in that mess and wasn't even just sprayed off for pick up. Very frustrated at that way of doing business! Not a good way to get repeat customers when you let them leave in that deplorable condition! read more

I just picked up my 2 year old dog, which is like my baby. When I say her I cried, she was covered with sores. She completely stunk of urine and feces. Her toys and blanket were completely covered feces as well. I had sent just enough medicine for her stay and when I checked the bottles I found she had pills left (which proves she was not given them correctly). The worst part is she is not acting like herself, she acts the same way an abused animal would. I am calling first thing in the morning and demanding a refund. read more

My grandpup spent 8 days at Perfect Pet Boarding/Grooming and they should be ashamed of themselves the way this Boxer has handed back to his owner. The shape he was in...there are no words...and then to charge him!! I understand that dogs might not eat when they are away from home, but not for 8 days. His ribs are showing and was covered in diarrhea which someone mentioned he had. His ears were bleeding and he smelled. Was that the way he was brought to these people? I think not! He will probably end up at the Vets to get checked over. Hopefully this helps the next animal that is left in their care... Shame on them!!!! Jackie D. read more

Zero stars would be more accurate. When we called to schedule for boarding & told her breed of our dog (shepherd) she informed us of last shepherd she had. It would not return to its cage, so she called police for help. Police had to shoot the dog because it would not comply. I mentioned this to another friend who coincidentally had a bad experience. After dropping their dog off, they received a call about 20 mins later to pick their dog up. It would not come out of the cage. My friend told her, the dog acts shy for about 1 hour then will listen, happens all the time. Lady demanded she picked up the dog. My friend had to literally miss a flight because of this. Oh yeah did I mention the lady chuckled when telling story of dog being shot. read more

The owner has a lot of procedures - you can only drop off or pick up your pet on M, Tu, Th, F @ 9 am or 5 pm. There is a $20 fee if you are late. I'm not exactly sure when the phones get answered or when/if they return calls. However, somewhere in the procedures, the owner also reserves the right to close early without notice. We tried to pick up our dog on Friday at 5:00 (arrived at 445 and stayed until 515, leaving a couple phone messages ). I was not able to pick up my dog until Monday morning and was charged for the weekend, when I could not reach them. I was told they had closed early on Friday due to bad weather (the owner lives next to the kennel). Also, the last time my dog stayed there, she came home with awful diarrhea. I called to let them know - asking if others were sick - I was told that there were a couple of constantly barking dogs who probably upset my dog, and what can they do about barking dogs? Is it possible that if you aren't there to answer the phones, then maybe you are not there to attend to barking dogs either? read more
