I also was never told that I was booking a trainee or that a trainee would arrive without the attire, table/chair setup, or level of service the owner had described. Had that been communicated before I booked, I would have chosen another company. The owner initially acknowledged to me in writing that she had missed my requests and failed to communicate the level of service I was booking. I stand by my original review and unfortunately would not recommend this company based on my experience. Original Post: Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our experience. We paid $250 for two hours of face painting and balloon twisting for my son's birthday party. On the company's intake form, I specifically selected that we wanted the entertainer to arrive in costume and that she would need to bring her own table. Neither happened. The entertainer arrived in jeans and a gray college sweatshirt with no company attire or costume, and without a table or even a chair for herself. She had only a small tray for her supplies, so I had to find a bench and figure out where to set her up. She was pleasant and the face painting and balloons themselves were fine, but there was very little engagement or presence as a party entertainer. Several guests didn't realize she was the entertainer, and I spent time directing parents and children over to her instead of enjoying my son's party. When I contacted the owner afterward, she initially apologized and acknowledged that she had missed my requests on the intake form and that the communication failure was on her end. She also explained that their artists normally arrive in company attire. I was then told that the person sent to our party was actually a trainee and that trainees do not bring tables, chairs, specific attire, or costumes. This was never disclosed to me before booking. Had I known I was paying $250 for a trainee with a substantially different level of service, I would have chosen one of the other entertainment companies we were considering. I understand that mistakes happen, and the entertainer herself was perfectly nice. My disappointment is with paying for one experience, receiving something very different, and only learning afterward that we had been assigned a trainee. Unfortunately, I would not book with this company again.

Jess and Eduardo made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and had super fast turnaround times for both the sneak peeks and full album/video. DJ Ramon played the best songs (+ song requests) and the dance floor was lit ALLL night. Ryan and Trixie kept the balls rolling for the photobooth and dessert cart, respectively, and extra shout out to Trixie as the decor for the dessert and backdrop were the CUTEST! Lastly, Grace made us amazing desserts and the most beautiful wedding cake ever!!! Everyone at Cupkeyk Events was fantastic and so sweet to work with. I have not been reached back out to from this company. I had another vendor tell us to let go of cupkeyk as a vendor if I haven't heard back. It is unprofessional to not get back to a customer, especially one who would will be paying atleast $1.5k. If they haven't responded to get my business, I can only imagine how hard it would be to contact them if I hired them as a vendor. Update: Here are all the times that I or my fiancé reached out to cupkeyk events. No messages ever given. It is interesting there is no proof of us reaching out on their end. I think what would be helpful for your business, is if you are unable to get back in contact with customers, to have a default message that you are sick/on vacation, or even have an automated message. It is unprofessional to essentially ghost possible clients. Because we reached out so many times, I am shocked to hear you don't have anything on file on your end.

Brian was so easy to work with. He had over 100+ templates to choose from, vertical & horizontal! We got to choose 2 different templates where the guests were able to choose which template they wanted. We got the packaged with unlimited takes and he even did 2 copies for us, so guests can leave one in our photo guestbook. He had a large box of props too! He photobooth printed fast and had no glitches. He setup on time and made the guests feel very comfortable. We were hesitant about our Vietnamese family who has never used a photobooth before but Everyone loved it & even went back a few times! Brian even allowed us to change fonts and colors on the templates he already had. One one of our templates, we were able to add our specific flower design too! It gets pretty crowded (and hot), so expect to spend at least an hour there. They have black & white, color, and vintage booths with different curtain backgrounds.
