His pricing was extremely reasonable; his setup was innovative, simple, and modern!!! I loved the idea of a green screen & having a background of choice. We opted for the "enhanced" package and enjoyed being able to pick between a photo strip vs 4x6. Steve worked with me to figure out a custom border for the photos. He arrived early to setup and was friendly, professional. All my guests loved the "booth" & had fun. Our photos had 3 images, and best of all - no more scrambling in between photos with seconds to spare!!! TEN STARS!!! I cannot say enough great things about Steve. Last night he provided the photobooth for our school's 8th grade graduation. The school district had a lot of requirements for him to fulfill prior to the event, and he was gracious and timely in working with them and was able to meet their guidelines for photo storage. I was really impressed with the quality of the photos and the printouts. We opted to use our own tinsel curtain as a backdrop, so we didn't try the green screen. But he brought a frame to hang our curtain, so even that part was easy. He incorporated the school colors and logo into the printout frames. Last night he arrived plenty early before the event started to set up and make sure everything was ready to go when the kids arrived. And then he manned that photo booth for 3 hours straight and had infinite patience with the sugared-up 14 year olds. They had an absolute blast. He was professional, helpful, and responsive over email. We went with the enhanced package for three hours at our wedding in Monterey, California. Steve worked with us to create an awesome background for the green screen and photo strip design for our wedding. He to our venue early to set up -- the photo booth was such a hit! He was so kind and patient with all the guests. There were so many props for people to use, and the set up itself was quick and easy. Steve was able to change the frame and angle of the camera and tell us when the photo was about to be taken. If you want to take your party to the next level, then enlist the services of Northern Cal Selfies. I just hosted a big event in wine country, and their Selfie Station was a huge hit with my guests. Huge thanks to Steve (the owner) for coming to my rescue after my original photo booth vendor backed out at the last second. Steve gladly picked up the ball and ran with it. He kindly accommodated my limited budget (because our event was a fundraiser); he showed up on time and with a bunch of fun props/hats/etc.; and within 30-40 minutes, he was all set up and ready to shoot. What I particularly liked about Steve's selfie station was how you could immediately send photos to your email, phone, or social media channels. Talk about instant gratification! Best of all, Steve is just a joy to work with. He's professional; he's prompt; he doesn't need to be micromanaged; he shows up on time; he does his job (and does it well); and he's friendly to everyone. What more could you ask for? Long overdue review, but Steve was awesome and did an amazing job with the photo booth at our wedding last year! He went through many options for how I wanted to design our photo booth strip and was prompt in answering his emails. Was slightly hesitant to book with Northern Cal Selfies as there aren't many reviews, but do not worry! Steve is legit and just as good if not better than other photo booth companies who charge a whole lot more and don't interact much with the guests. Steve is great to work with -- he is very responsive and has an easy going, pleasant demeanor. I hired him for two hours to do photos for a school auction fundraiser event. Unfortunately, a couple of factors (primarily the set up location) resulted in people not engaging as much as we hoped with the photo booth so Steve offered to stay through the entire event at no charge so people would have the opportunity for photos. Earlier in the evening his location at the venue was changed after he had nearly set up all his equipment and he handled the change so nicely and assured me it was not a problem. He went above and beyond for us and even provided a nice discount for his services because the event was a school fundraiser. I used Northern Cal Selfies for my wedding this summer, and I highly recommend them for your wedding or special event. Steve was great! He made a custom logo/picture on the photo sheets the guests got. He used a green-screen and let me choose from thousands of background photos. He even let us use some of my own. We used a picture of the venue as one, and also had a few other pictures for the guests to choose from. He brought a ton of fun props. He hadn't been to my wedding venue before, so he took the time to visit it with me a couple weeks before the wedding! At the end of the day, he gave us a USB stick with a digital copy of all the pictures. It was great to see all my guests having fun with the props, and now I have even more fun pictures for my album.
