I absolutely love this nail salon. I went there with with an entire bridal party to get our nails done for a wedding. The place was clean and atmosphere was great. They even offered us water and wine! The staff is very friendly and skilled. I got my first dip powder manicure (pictured - color 197) and I love it. I get my nails done quite a bit and this is one of the best experiences I've ever had!

Went to perfect polish earlier and had a sweet girl named Haven. I'm usually not impressed with the nail places in various places I've been to but she did a great job. She wasn't aggressive with my skin/cuticles. Checked to make sure iwas good and took her time. The place was very friendly and a good vibe. Definitely recommend!!

My nails have never looked better!! I'm a perfectionist and I literally cannot find a single thing wrong with my manicure and pedicure. Everyone was beyond friendly and very professional. Call ahead because they stay very busy due to their amazing reputation but even if you do have to wait, know that it is 100% worth it. This place is magic. read more

I'm perplexed by the positive reviews. Here has been my experience: I have tried to go twice without success. The first time was a busy Saturday and we had not made appointments, so that was on us. I tried again today and it was thankfully, not busy, only two other customers in the place. There were 5 employees, 2 of which were helping others. They sat me down in the chair to soak my feet and there I sat and watched the other three employees stand and talk to each other, eat from their candy dish, then finally walk outside and chat. The guy that was to do my nails, then proceeded to leave and go get some "lunch" (it was 3:35pm), then brought the food back to the back room and eat it. I was in the last chair closest to their break room, so I could see him elbows-deep in his spare ribs. I get it, I work hard too, sometimes you eat when you can, but really? Stand around, then leave, then bring back food and eat it while your costumer is waiting? I soaked until the water was cool then decided, my business was obviously not a priority for them. I hopped out of the chair, dried my feet and gathered my things. This prompted him to come out of the back and state he was going to be right with me. No thanks, there was still BBQ sauce on his face and fingers... read more

Not only was this not the service I asked for, but she was removing my nails by lodging clippers and cuticle clippers in between me real nail and acrylic and cut my skin AND cut down the middle of some of my real nails leaving them split and injured. When I told her she was hurting me, she giggled and walked off. I was then sent to the man next to her who also tried doing this same process. Even after requesting to just soak them off, he came back with the response of "Can you let me try first". This resulted in him doing the same as the girl before which led to 2 more nails being injured. I finally just asked for my nails to just be left bare so I didn't risk any infection by putting acrylic on top. When expressing concerns and discomfort, I received groans and slightly disrespectful comments that left me uncomfortable. Overall, my experience wasn't good and wouldn't recommend this place to people, especially to those with sensitive nails.

The story behind this: I walked into this tanning place location in my way to the gym ( which includes tanning). I was looking for a hemp tanning lotion, since I find them to be the best tanning lotions I have encounter so far , next to the one I just found "bronzology" which smells fantastic by the way and does an excellent job. Well, I do not dress in design clothes to be sweaty, so I walk in here and the lady behind the counter immediately assumed what is in my budget or not. Well, a $120 lotion might be something I could consider buying if I didn't know I can get much cheaper and better quality products out there. Then she said "well you can buy our "mediocre" lotions ( she really said mediocre) because they might be more in your price range", without me saying anything about what I can or cannot afford. Either way her mediocre lotions were still 50+ dollars. In my mind I wonder why I am paying 50+ dollars for a mediocre product? Then I finally inquire about their tanning rates which I find ridiculous because their regular beds are the same price a month as the gym which is less than 50 feet away ,and you get a gym with the tanning bed. So in conclusion, if you like snooty, over priced, and mediocre tanning lotions I would totally recommend this place, and at the end they didn't even had what I was looking for.

I'm amending this for an update. 3rd interaction - I was still hoping to follow up with this Dr because of the time I have invested. Was waiting to do updated blood work. She has been assigned as my primary care physician by my insurance. Just found out that she won't be doing the full panel of labs that my last one did (for last 7 years). These labs were standard & identified a health problem to monitor. She said if she can't treat it, She won't include them in normal labs. From a medical standpoint point this is concerning. Neither could my other doctor. Thought the primary care has always been the first line of defense? ---- maybe they mean family doctor for sniffles? 1st & 2nd interactions 1st appt was cancelled with Doctor with no notice (& waited 2 months to see Dr instead of PA because prior family Dr's labs identified a concern & that Islands doctor was leaving the practice). waited 1 hour & 15 minutes for PA who was still running late so had to leave to take care of a family member in the hospital. 2nd interaction - called to get an update on labs. Was interrupted. Waited to speak. Didn't get one. If I tried, was told I was interrupting & rude. Waited without a peep and counted to 10 when receptionist was done. Waited too long. She hung up on me. I'd been assured a return call during rant. So waited for one. Didn't get one. So called back next day (def didn't want to do that). Got same receptionist. She said the Dr was supposed to call me back (?!). Then she read back dr's note which stated she was supposed to call me back. Receptionist told me I should find a new practice. So I am. What a mess.

There was a variety of color options for shellac (gel) and regular polish. My shellac manicure cost $35 which is normal for this area. Appointments are required, but clients can text the salon! As a millennial, I love that. Carol takes pride in cleanliness and sanitation, and educates her clients on nail health. She really understands the laws and regulations, and follows them. Things such as giving each client a new buffer, using a new nail filer for each client, and keeping her tools in a sanitation liquid, etc. She does not use jetted tubs for pedicures. Stale water from the previous pedicure sits in the jets and contaminates the next clients water! This I knew previously as it is the same as jacuzzis in hotels. I have definitely found my new salon.

I am from Los Angeles and have taken a trip to Savannah to enjoy the city and to see him at this shop for yet another piece. I have collected 5 pieces from him since 2016. I consider Alex to be a collaborator and a partner in this process. He works with my idea and turns it into his vision. He is a natural and a prodigy. My last two pieces have been freehanded with a sharpie in the Japanese style, and they are each nothing less than a masterpiece. Thank you Alex.

Bring your ideas, sample images and imaginative concepts. This is not the kind of place that you pick a tattoo out of a book. SUPER CLEAN - the place is spotless and well decorated. Lots of original art on the walls, antique clocks, and old 19th century chairs for guests to sit in. Very classy! SUPER SANITARY - James is laser focused on maintaining a safe, sterile and sanitized environment. All tattoo needles are one time use, opened from sealed package and discarded. He goes through crazy number of supplies. New glove every time he has to answer the phone or touch something. He thoroughly washes down tattoo skin area with sanitizing solution. He provides detailed instructions on keeping tattoo clean as it is an open wound when you leave. SUPER ARTISTIC - James is focused on creating an image on your body that will look good in a decade. Many artist only focus on how it looks when you leave their shop. Ink diffuses over time into the fatty tissue. James will tell you if a small detail is too small and therefore the tattoo would need to be bigger or detail is not workable. He told me that all three of my tats needed to be bigger, and he was right. He also is good at understanding how people might interpret a tattoo differently than you intended. Give him your idea and you can be confident that he'll shape it into a design the will withstand time. He has always taken my concepts and worked them into a phenomenal design that was better than I could imagine on my own. HIGH STANDARDS - James is the owner and the tattoo artist. The last guy that worked with him made a comment that his standards were too high. James appreciated his honesty and told him to not come back. He highly respects the fact that he is applying permanent images on people's bodies. SPECIALIZES IN REPAIR - did you get a bad tattoo elsewhere? James is known for covering, fixing, correcting the mistakes that a lesser tattoo artist left on your body. TIPS - All meetings are by appointment. You might walk in and be lucky to catch him available for a consult, but best to call and schedule time. - Expect at least one consultation, if not two, before you schedule a tattoo. Since this is custom work, you need to discuss the job with James, and if complicated enough, you'll have a second consultation to see his proposed sketch of the tattoo for review before he creates the final tattoo template. - Think of meeting James as meeting up with a friend. This isn't a strictly-timed business appointment. He works by himself and has to fetch supplies, he gets stuck in traffic, and he answers phone calls...just like you. You might arrive at the shop before James does for your scheduled appointment. That's ok. - James will turn down jobs that he doesn't want to be associated with. For example, during my first tattoo, someone came in asking to get a My Little Pony musical note on their rear. James said no. Another guy wanted a design with a boy below the underwear line and James said no. The latter tattoo was well intentioned but James refused on basis for how it could be interpreted. - Heavy Metal - if you like it, then you are aligned with James's music taste. If you don't like it, then learn to appreciate it since you'll be hearing it for hours upon hours during your tattoo. - Illegal to drink before getting a tattoo. Don't do it. If James can tell you are under the influence then he probably will not be able to give you a tattoo that day. - Illegal to bring kids inside the tattoo shop. I believe you need to be 18, but double check if you have need to bring in someone younger.

I've bounced around nail salons for years, usually just picking the most convenient location that can fit me in as a quick walk-in when my crazy schedule allows. Not anymore! I walked into perfect polish one day on a whim, met Bia and I won't be walking into another nail salon, end of story. This nail salon actually cares about the health of my nails. They are a great group of people who have fun with their job (and they listen to country music which is a plus for me). Bia is my one and only and she does everything she can to accommodate me. She introduced me to dipping and my nails are beautiful for 3-4 weeks (and I work in a barn!). I have been very happy with their services and customer service, always welcoming and you feel they want you there. I am not just another client to get polished and out of the door for the next client. HIGHLY recommended! read more

I walked in without an appointment and Bia worked me right in. I moved to the area recently and have been trying different salons until I found the right one for me, and I found it! Bia took her time removing the terrible acrylic from my last appointment and made me stop apologizing for taking so much of her time. She did a beautiful job on my hands and helped me pick out a perfect color. The last place I went hurt my fingers and nailbeds terribly. This was a totally enjoyable experience. This is my FAVORITE place to get my nails done at! They always take great care of me and make sure my nails are perfect everytime. I actually started going to kissie about about a year ago? She and her family run this salon and they all do a great job, super friendly, and hold meaningful conversations with you everytime. They always remember you too, which is a great quality! My fiancé is super sensitive and he started going here as well for a man pedi and mani. We usually make it a date and spend a few hours there enjoying some wine or water and talking with everyone. Love love love this salon! Professional, courteous and very warm service. Each appointment is more than just getting my nails or toes done, it feels like catching up with family! This was a great experience... as someone who travels constantly for work and has had many manicures (ranging from terrible to fantastic) I would consider this place to be one of the best I've experienced. Hood was very knowledgeable and was able to correct an ingrown nail I had been dealing with for almost 5 years. I went to get my eyelashes done and they look so real! The whole experience from the moment I walked in the door was so welcoming. The process to get them put on was gentle and I had complete confidence in everything that she was doing! At the end I got a nice little head massage and that was sooo relaxing.
