On August 20, 2025, I was subjected to a charge of $478 for a dental visit with Dr.Patricia at Perfect Teeth Specialty Clinic. But I found myself was scammed for the following reasons: Initially, I informed them that my dental insurance policy only permits a single x-ray every five years. Consequently, I requested the transfer of my existing x-ray images from my previous provider. However, they disregarded my request and proceeded to request a new x-ray at their convenience with a $91 fee. Secondly, I was overcharged $50 for deductible, which I already paid for my insurance policy. Despite my request, I have not yet received a refund for this amount. Furthermore, they requested that I signed an agreement without informing me that my insurance does not cover services such as topical application of fluoride varnish $50 , gingival irrigation $75 for just one side, or adjunctive oral cancer screening $85 one time. These procedures are considered non-standard which is upselling for clinic profit and of course are not typically covered by most insurance plans. Additionally, I was subjected to unnecessary services, including the topical application of fluoride varnish, which is typically prescribed for teenagers rather than adults. In reviewing other Yelp complaints about this Perfect Teeth location I have discovered that I am not the first patient to be denied a refund after being overcharged. read more

I walked into the office of the Perfect Teeth Specialty Center, 1699 S Colorado Blvd Bldg A Ste J, Denver, CO 80222, to see the endodontist scheduled to perform my procedure - Dr. Christopher Samuel Hahn, DMD - splayed out on the counter, loudly flirting with the dental assistant and repeatedly referencing the rifles he owns, including AR-15s. I expressed that I was uncomfortable with this and requested a separate endodontist. I was told he was the only endodontist available and that I would be unable to reschedule. Immediately, Dr. Christopher Hahn became hostile and told me I had a "bad attitude." I informed him that his behavior was deeply unprofessional, and that I would report him to Colorado's regulatory and licensing agency. In response, he called me "an idiot" and repeatedly mentioned the Second Amendment. After repeatedly angrily citing the Second Amendment, Dr. Hahn then rushed towards me from behind the counter and excitedly raised up his shoulders and his sleeves, without prompt, to show me his upper arms. He then alleged that he would still be able to shoot me from this distance. I exited the building at this point and immediately filed a report with the relevant regulatory agency. I'd suggest any families with young children, those concerned about their physical safety, or those simply concerned about this office's bedside manner and their attending dentist's propensity to shout insults like "idiot" at their clients, seek service from a different establishment. read more

For the last 25 years I have been a patient of Perfect Teeth at S. Monaco and Evans (now Perfect Teeth Specialty Center at S. Colorado Blvd.) In 2024, as a result of grinding my teeth for years, I needed crowns for 6 of my upper front teeth. This was going to be a complex and lengthy procedure requiring a highly experienced and skilled dentist in whom I had 100% confidence. Dr. Patricia, who has been my dentist for more than a decade, was deserving of that trust. As part of this process one of my teeth could not be saved and needed to be extracted. Dr. Olson, at the Specialty Center, proved to also be worthy of that trust. With only local anesthetic the extraction was quick and absolutely 100% pain free. After 3 months, and lots of hours in the dentist chair, I had a beautiful smile again and newfound self-confidence. The professionalism and commitment to excellence of the providers at Perfect Teeth are unparalleled. I could not be happier with the treatment I received and the outcome. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the folks that manage the office In reviewing the invoices from Perfect Teeth I discovered a significant discrepancy between what I had been charged and the schedule of co-pays from my insurance provider (Sun Life.) Perfect Teeth had overcharged me by $320. I reached out to Crystal, from the billing dept. at Perfect Teeth, who agreed to investigate my concern. One week later, after not hearing back from Crystal, I went to Perfect teeth to discuss the matter in person. She indicated that she was still working on the problem. One week later, on October 8, 2024, I re-contacted Crystal who confirmed that I had been overcharged by $320. She went on to add that it would take 2-3 weeks for my Visa card to be credited back the $320. A full month later the overcharge had not been credited back to my Visa card. I called Perfect Teeth yet again and upon learning that Crystal was off that day I asked to be transferred to the office manager Trixy. Trixy reviewed notes regarding my conversations with Crystal, agreed that I had been overcharged. She indicated that she would take care of it and the $320 would be credited to my Visa account in the upcoming days. That same week I went to Perfect Teeth to pick up a new occlusal guard that had been ordered a few weeks prior. When I went to pick it up I was told that the charge for that device would be $900. The co-pay schedule from my dental insurance clearly states that my cost for that guard is $120. Perfect Teeth, in their corporate generosity, agreed to charge me a mere $450 for the $120 guard (a $330 overcharge). To date Perfect Teeth has overcharged me a total of $650. It has now been more than 3 months since I was told that the $320 overcharge would be credited back to my Visa account. Perfect Teeth has failed to fulfill that promise. The disposition of the occlusal guard overcharge has yet to be determined. In reviewing other Yelp complaints about this Perfect Teeth location I have discovered that I am not the first patient to be denied a refund after being overcharged. In summary, the dental providers at Perfect Teeth on S. Colorado Blvd are highly skilled professionals who are passionate about their work. The administrative team appears to be incompetent, and devoid of any modicum of integrity. At this juncture I am unsure as to whether this is a dental office or a criminal enterprise. read more

The team here does absolutely phenomenal work! I was here for some extensive dental work which doc knocked out in a little less than two hours. I felt absolutely no pain and the doctor himself called me within two hours of my leaving the office to see how I was doing post procedure. I was extremely surprised and happy with the extent of that customer service, you just don't see that nowadays. The entire team has a great bedside manner explaining procedures, prices, and follow up actions in great detail. I had been an orthodonture/invisalign patient at Perfect Teeth Monaco and was confused and disappointed at the chaos that ensued as the business was purchased and then that location was closed. Today I had a consult at Perfect Teeth Brident at the Colorado Blvd specialty center with rather low expectations and was wondering what I would find. I was more than pleasantly surprised. First of all, the office itself was a vast improvement over Monaco, way cleaner and more professional. But most important was the consultation I had with Dr. Adrian, who was just fantastic. He was kind, friendly, open, patient, VERY thorough, very professional, and took all the time I needed for him to examine me, do a scan, explain what was going on with my teeth and to make his recommendations. Don't be fooled by his young looking baby face -- he is a very well experienced orthodontist! And he was totally honest about what he thought I did and didn't need, rather than pushing services. It was an excellent experience and it is clear that he is a very caring individual focused on being of service to and doing right by his patients. Kudos to Dr Adrian deMoya (who just goes by Dr. Adrian). He is quite wonderful and went a long way toward fixing the rather destroyed reputation that Brident/Perfect Teeth had in my mind. read more

I'm in the process of getting dental implants, which first involves the extraction of all my teeth, then the fitting of some temporary dentures, and finally the installation of the implants. I was told by my insurer (Cigna Medicare Advantage) that they would cover the total expense for the procedure, and I'd have no co-pay. Cigna directed me to the Perfect Teeth Specialty Center in Denver. Before the extraction, Perfect Teeth didn't inform me that although Cigna would cover 100% of the cost of local anesthesia, they would cover 0% of the cost of the intravenous sedation, which Perfect Teeth recommended. After the extraction procedure was completed, Perfect Teeth handed me a bill for $1,857 for the intravenous sedation! I'm on a fixed income and certainly wasn't prepared for this. They just suggested I apply for a CareCredit loan to pay the bill. I believe I was manipulated into using a very expensive sedative, even though they knew that Cigna would cover 100% of the cost of the local anesthesia. I feel they should have clearly explained all my options beforehand and encouraged me to choose the affordable option. Although I am very upset with the unethical billing practices of Perfect Teeth Specialty Center in Denver, I have no complaint against the oral surgeon. read more

I had a proceedure completed last year in August 2022 for which I was to receive a refund of $202 for overpayment of my copay. Instead of refunding the money when it was due, I did not find out about it until my payflex card was suspended due to Perfect Teeths failure to properly process my refund. Now in January 2023 I am still fighting to get this refund processed and my payflex card cleared. Their administrative processing and customer service is horrible and certainly not patient focused. I just had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Olson and it went swimmingly! I elected to go under for the procedure and the team was professional and kept me engaged until I knocked out. I awoke within about 45 minutes with gauze in my mouth to stop the bleeding. Initially, I was a little shaky coming out from the anesthetic, but a half hour after leaving the office, I felt fine with little to no symptoms of having been under (i.e. Dizziness, incoherent, difficulty standing/walking, etc.) It has now been about 5.5 hours since the procedure and the swelling is gone and I am completely coherent and stable. Whatever dose they gave me, it was SPOT ON. They gave detailed instructions on after care that I followed to stop the bleeding and I feel great! Thought I'd have to be holed up in my apartment to hide my chipmunk cheeks, but all is basically normal again. I had avoided going to the dentist for a very long time, and the Perfect Teeth location by my house referred me to this specialty center for an oral biopsy before a teeth cleaning could be performed. Dr. Olsen and staff were very friendly and attentive, and I felt very little anxiety about having the biopsy procedure explained to me. When the biopsy was performed, it was a very quick and painless procedure, and I was very happy to have such a smooth experience for my first surgery of any kind. Now comes the billing portion. I first went in on 01/22/18, and the biopsy was done 02/05/2018. I was hoping to be able to pay the balance by now, but my own medical insurance hasn't processed the claim yet. This is not unexpected, however, as medical billing can take some time, and in no way does this reflect negatively on my experience with this specialty center. Her office is not close to my house. It had been about twenty years since my last root canal, so I had a lot of anxiety. She is a very caring and professional, and explained what she was going to do and how she was do the procedure. Painless! I hate going to the dentist and I avoid it at all costs. After a recent accident broke my nose and front teeth, I had to get an emergency root canal - needless to say, I was extremely nervous and in a tremendous amount of pain. Dr. Lawler and her team did a FANTASTIC job! They got me in at 8am the next day and had me all fixed up in less than half an hour. I had a broken nose and a very swollen face, but somehow they managed to work around all of my injuries and keep me ridiculously comfortable throughout the 20 minute experience... I just laid back and listened to my headphones. They were so careful that they didn't agitate any of my facial injuries (and there were quite a few). What I appreciate most is that the entire team - from the front desk to the surgeon herself - were incredibly friendly. I felt more like I was checking into a nice hotel, rather than checking in for minor dental surgery. Dr. Lawler even sat down with me and drew a picture to explain the entire process to help calm my nerves. I was so grateful to her for that because it truly relaxed me and made me very confident in her skills. I can certainly say that my root canal on my front tooth was 100% painless. Once the numbness wore out later that morning, my front tooth was completely pain-free and I didn't have any additional aches from the procedure. Vickie the office manager was a pleasure to work with. She took care of me and worked with me on some of my more difficult appointments. Going above and beyond with her customer service. Now for Dr. Olsen Dr. Olsen is one of the best in Colorado. I say that sincerely. He cares about his patients and goes above n beyond to make sure they are taken care of. He is great at answering any questions you might have, doesn't treat you like a number, has a calming nature, even handled my nervous humor. Well, I never though i would be giving a dental office a good review. Not because they would be bad but because that is the nature of the beast. That being said, these folks are very professional, always on time (no 30 minute waiting room trips), and super good. I was surprised to learn that they are a franchise. It doesn't matter to me. I highly highly recommend them to anyone needing a major procedure. 11-12-13 I just received a call telling me that my follow-up appointment, that was scheduled for THIS Thursday, needed to be adjusted because they scheduled me during another treatment that the Dentist would be in. How that happens when we scheduled the appointment 3 months ago is beyond me. So now I have to look at my schedule and figure out a new day and time that works. Pretty inconvenient. read more

There is absolutely nothing fun about the prospect of a root canal. My beloved dental assistant at my general dentist assured me I had nothing to worry about, and my dentist, himself, swore he was sending me to the best of the best. I had to wait two weeks for the earliest appointment, and I was taken right on time the day-of. All the staff were professional, and Dr. Lawlor was lovely. Although the price reflects the fact that you are being seen by a specialist, it's worth it for the peace of mind that root canals are the only thing Dr. Lawlor does. She was willing to answer questions before, during, and after, and told me she opted to specialize after eight years in general dentistry; she didn't like the cosmetic direction it was taking and wanted to genuinely help people -- I respect that. Terrible! First they fired my dentists that did the surgery. The 2nd dentist caught a piece of my skin under my implant several times even when I asked him to be careful. Then they fired him. Next they quite doing the work I needed and sent me 20 minutes further away. They my fixture broke and they sent me to a specialist. The specialist said that my fixture broke because of it design. I took someone else here so I could drive him home. Even though I didn't have the dental work done myself, I was impressed with the staff, the oral surgeon and the office. The procedure seemed to go well. The Perfect Teeth dental insurance plan is a little confusing so the bill was higher than expected but not unreasonable. The office is on the second floor and the elevator is out of service. Stairs are not the safest way to get down if you have been sedated for a procedure. However, it is not the fault of Perfect teeth that the building elevator is out of order. read more

Dr. Lawler was so gentle and professional that I had lots of confidence going into this one.
