Dr. Burk took very good care in his examination. There was no shame, no judging. He was professional and kind to include his dental assistant as well! The examination was very thorough. I was impressed at what I saw. He would take time to explain what was going on. He educated me on the numbers he was saying. He clearly wants to keep you in the loop so you are able to make informed decisions about your dental care. He doesn't tell you what you need to do, as if he were selling something. He gives suggestions with your concerns in mind. Dr. Burk doesn't just want to pull your teeth and give you implants. He encourages you that your original teeth are the best option (depending the circumstances). The office was very pleasant. it didn't have that medical smell like a doctor's office would. It was warm and pleasant with an outstanding and clean playlist playing in the background. Come to this Dental office for true first class service! I know I will and I'm bring my family here too!

Dr. Lam Le and Rebecca explained the complete timeline and what to expect each step of the way. On the day of my daughter's procedure they made sure she was comfortable and calm, they even gave her a blanket which i have never seened before, and especially since she hates the dentist. I am thankful for their professional staff and ability to work with my schedule to get this going and on to a better dental life, my daughter said this was the best and painless procedure she has had at any dental office and i thank the staff for making this such a pleasent experience for her. The office hours are quite accommodating to various schedules - they are open Saturday mornings & a couple evenings until 7PM. Note, they are closed on Wednesdays & Sundays. As usual I was welcomed in by the official greeter Jasmine, Dr Z's sweet dog & the friendly receptionist at the desk! Today the dentist cleaned my teeth, the Hygienist was out. I got to experience their new piece of equipment that uses warm water to clean instead of cold. (This is great for those with cold sensitivities.) I had the most excruciating cleaning experience ever. I also had three wisdom teeth pulled that same day. I was awake during the extraction. It took about an hour to have them all pulled. During my follow up visit I walked out during my appointment frustrated by the overall lack of professionalism, poor experience, disregard for my time and poor communication. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Anyway, I no longer recommend this dental office.

I went couple weeks ago so they can check and correct the problem, and their response was that they wouldn't do anything because nothing looked wrong. They left me dealing with the pain and irritation; their only solution was to alter the neighboring tooth just to close the gap caused by the crown. In my view, it was completely unprofessional, and they made me feel like I didn't matter to them. Plus I pay out of pocket and they say sorry go somewhere else and fix it because the doctor that did my route canal no longer works there so no body is responsible, Im not rich and I have to deal with bad work in my mouth.

Not transparent with billing and lack of communication by Dr Severance and billing personnel…read more I went to this office expecting a regular dental cleaning. I was never told before or during the appointment that I was receiving a periodontal cleaning or that it could result in an additional out-of-pocket charge. After the appointment, I was charged $75. I contacted my health insurance and confirmed that I have coverage for two dental cleanings per year and that this dentist is in-network. I then contacted the office to find out why I was being charged. I spoke with Maria in billing, who told me that the reason for the $75 charge was because I had a deep cleaning last year and Dr. Severance determined that today's cleaning was a periodontal cleaning. My concern is that Dr. Severance never explained this to me. Nobody told me that my cleaning was being classified differently, why it was medically necessary, or that I would have an additional $75 charge. Had I been told beforehand that I was not receiving a standard cleaning and that there would be an additional cost, I could have asked questions, contacted my insurance, and made an informed decision before the procedure was performed. What makes this particularly frustrating is that the cleaning itself did not seem any different from a regular cleaning. I'm now having to spend my own time contacting the dental office and Cigna to figure out why I was charged for a service I was never informed I was receiving. I understand that insurance coverage and dental treatment can be complicated, and I understand that a dentist may determine that periodontal maintenance is appropriate. What I don't understand is why I wasn't informed before the procedure and given the opportunity to understand the treatment and potential cost. I would strongly recommend asking exactly what procedure is being performed and what your expected out-of-pocket cost will be before agreeing to a cleaning at this office.
