She wanted to get it done simply because one was long overdue. My Brother-In-Law had IDHI do a home inspection for a new house he purchased five years ago and highly recommend them. My experience with IDHI was nothing short of awesome! Greg is very quick to respond to emails, calls or texts and has all the answers. You can tell he has been doing this for quite some time. His knowledge of structures is only enhanced as he is a retired firefighter and spent decades working in and around all kinds of structures. On the day of inspection, he arrived 15 minutes early and we went over any prior areas of concern before he began doing his inspection. My Mom's house is a simply 1400 square foot single family home. Greg spent over three hours going over every square inch to include ALL attic and crawl spaces, the roof, and under the house (which I am convinced nobody has been under since we moved in in 1981. He has all his own equipment including ladders, stools, protective shoe coverings and overalls. In addition, he takes dozens of pictures and videos which he gives you on a thumb drive at the end of the inspection. He also goes over everything in detail at the end and I had an emailed copy within two hours after his departure. He even followed up the next day with another email to ensure we were happy and understood some of the deficiencies that need to be addressed. Greg also has recommended contractors whose work he has spent years inspecting on other homes, e.g., we knew we needed a new roof and he had a solid recommendation (again, he's spent years inspecting the guys work). Long story already long; I will continue to use In Depth Home Inspection LLC as long as I need inspections done and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone else.

I have only lived in apartments before, so all of this was a new experience for me. My first impression was when speaking with the dispatcher by phone. She is very knowledgeable, and answered questions to me in detail. She was clear, transparent and honest, and did not try to gouge or oversell me on anything. This is a very important point given my lack of experience in this domain. I was invited to attend the inspection, and it was a fascinating process. I have only lived in apartments, so this was my first time being exposed to the internals and sub-systems of a house. The inspector is extremely thorough, and is very knowledgeable and patient if you ask him questions during the inspection. We went through every corner of the home and he pointed out areas which could be problematic, and also aspects which were well constructed. The inspector is very knowledgeable, and these people are easy to interact with. The report I received is very detailed and included critiques, observations, and maintenance tips. I followed up with questions, and got detailed responses. I am very grateful for the expertise and quality of service provided by this company. They are highly skilled, professional, and easy to work with. I believe I got an excellent service from them.

None of these spots were identified in the report. We will be spending over $3,000 dollars to fix these boards. We hired a contractor who is very reputable in the Portland and Salem area to fix the doors and he says that this was a HUGE miss on their part. I called Pillar to Post today and claimed it wasn't their fault and we should have hired a contractor to fix these issues and they were not their responsibility to identify them, say what?! Just know if you use Pillar to Post and they make a mistake, they do nothing :(. I have a lot of friends who are real estate agents who I will be passing this along to, unfortunately. We will never work with them again.

Incredibly thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. Our inspectors explained what they found in every section of the house, from attic to crawlspace, and explained not just what was found, but why it mattered and how concerned we should (or shouldn't!) be. They flagged moisture issues (of course, it's Portland!), drainage concerns, rodent entry points, HVAC, and a handful of safety items, and broke everything down in a really clear "red / orange / blue" priority system that made the whole process so much less overwhelming. I really appreciated how they told us, in plain English, what was normal for Portland homes versus what needed attention. The inspection felt incredibly detailed and never rushed, and gave practical suggestions for next steps and maintenance we should expect as new homeowners in the PNW. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend Wall To Wall if you want inspectors who are not only thorough, but also patient. :)

It was incredibly stressful working with W2W. Our HOA hired W2W to inspect attics in 130+ homes…read moreover a 4-week period. While mistakes can happen, this experience went far beyond normal hiccups. The company was disorganized-- in one instance forgetting our scheduled week, forcing last-minute rescheduling of 18 inspections. In another sending us a "urgent" message about 6 units being scheduled for 1/21/2025 when they already inspected them on 11/21/2025. Sometimes their inspectors showed up at the wrong homes and marked them as "no-shows," charging us unjustifiable no-show fees. What made the experience unacceptable was the owner's behavior - petty, juvenile. Various examples are: despite invoices being processed promptly and checks already issued, he repeatedly pressured for immediate payment, made petty comments, demanded stop-payments and check pickups, threatened to halt inspections, and attempted to intimidate by claiming his wife was an attorney and a state judge - isn't impersonating state judge a misdemeanor? These claims were verifiably untrue and per her LinkedIn, she hasn't practiced law since 2019. Coordination issues happen. Misleading statements and juvenile conduct are a choice. We would not recommend W2W.

The only void between the ceiling and the roof decking is the width of the rafters, filled with insulation and not accessible. No one installs a "hatch" in such location! 3. Because of #2 above, this inspector cited possibility of the bath exhaust fan not being vented to the outside. The diffuser is easily visible on the exterior wall of the house! 4. Inspector cites the outside receptacles (plural) are not GFCI protected, but provide image of only 1. That receptacle IS GFCI protected by it's supply from an indoor GFCI receptacle! 5. I am grateful to 3r's Construction and Northside Electric to recommend an excellent inspection company called Leupitz. As soon as I got the recommendation, I called to get on their schedule. It was worth it to pay Leupitz Inspections (8 months after I bought my house, and put in $19,600.00) to finally know what this home really has (the Pros and the Cons). Bruce T. was thorough, experienced and communicated with a professional and friendly manner. Bruce outlined in a 16-pg report (with photos) what his expertise found, that my realtors inspection partner missed. I highly recommend the expertise of Leupitz Inspections.
