However, most of them must pass their care to trainees or "techs" so that they can supervise the operation. The screwed up helath insurance payment system dictates this for these businesses to be viable. I am a retired doctor and know this firsthand. What separates "Dr. Bob" is that he works one-on-one with you during your sessions. And he doesn't waste time having you do your "homework" exercises for him each time. He trusts that you're regularly doing your part. He does test you to confirm that, but the commitment is implied and it's based on mutual respect. Also, he didn't myopically focus on my shoulder as he insisted we work on strengthening the kinetic chain to improve mechanics and lessen the load on my shoulder. Dr. Bob's PT helped me heal my third rotator cuff injury, avoid another surgery, and I returned to the tennis court, surprisingly with a better serve. The shoulder is strong and stable, which shows up in many other parts of my game, bringing the joy of competitive high-level tennis back into my life. I will religiously continue doing my "homework" exercises to maintain my shoulder so hopefully I won't injure it again.

I remember her well as one of the best caregivers I've ever had, for a variety of different injuries I had (lower back, leg). She did both chiro and sports injury work. I remember when I first saw her, constant back pain that I had for weeks, was GONE after the first session. And every injury I had since then, I felt completely taken care of and on the quickest path to recovery. In the years since then I've learned that this kind of experience is not necessarily common. And she is super nice, has all the soft skills of an amazing caregiver (caring, good listening, etc) If you're lucky enough to be in her area you should definitely check her out.

Lifesaver for a Pregnant Mama!…read more I made an appointment with Dr. Amber Latza to address crippling SI joint pain in my third trimester of pregnancy. I had only ever been to a chiropractor once prior, and I was nervous about what to expect and if it would be safe at such an advanced stage of pregnancy. Dr. Latza was incredibly thorough and immediately put me at ease. She took the time to explain how the muscular and skeletal systems work together and outlined our approach: a strategic combination of stretching, massaging, and tractioning to get me mobile again. The results were immediate and shocking! When I first arrived, I needed assistance just to get up the stairs to her office. By the end of our session, I was able to independently walk myself down the stairs and back to my car. I highly recommend working with Dr. Latza for your chiropractic needs and will continue to see her through the end of my pregnancy and beyond. Also, she is just an awesome human who truly cares about the holistic needs of the people she sees.

The orthopedic surgeon advised to try epidural injections first with PT. I tried 3 epidural injections, but not much relief. I got PT with Dave for 6 months and that's what kept me going for short walks, before I finally decided to go for minimally invasive laminectomy and facetectomy surgery by Dr Saqib Hasan in Nov last year and with God's blessings and Dr Hasan's expertise my pain was completely gone and was walking around the same day. Dave provided excellent pre-op therapy and has guided my post-op recovery with with great care. He is patient, highly knowledgeable, and always ensures I am moving safely to protect my spine. He listens to my concerns--and adjusts my treatment on the fly. I couldn't have asked for a better partner in my rehabilitation. Thanks to his care and his excellent and friendly staff like Jennifer and Yanete I am back to walking 10,000 steps a day and feels like I can start my favorite hiking activity soon.

Unfortunately, as I understand it, there is no cure for lymphedema, but Ida has been able to teach me management techniques which have been so helpful. One of these is wrapping my legs for compression to reduce the edema. The staff have also been very helpful in scheduling appointments. While I have had no other therapy here, the therapist I observed are knowledgeable and I would highly recommend them. I have had a knee replacement and lumbar issues so am very familiar with therapists and the equipment used. In my case and other cases it is not the equipment used but a persons dedication to restoring their own health. It has been my experience that so much of a persons physical improvement resides in their own attitude and following instructions from the therapist. The therapists are not magicians.

We'll let me tell you, Ning at the physical therapy specialties is seriously an Angel and so knowledgeable and a talented therapist. I go twice a week for pool and land therapy and she's always very professional, on time, and genuinely cares about all her patients. It's been a great experience and it's been very helpful. The facility is clean and well run. You never have to wait more than 5 mins once you check in for appointments. They have a heated pool for pool therapy which is always clean and private. It's the best experience I've had with physical therapy and I'm so happy I was referred here through VA. All the techs are professional and helpful. They answer any questions you have and always ensure privacy and dignity. If you need physical therapy, this place is it.

WORST PLACE EVER!!!…read more I called them the morning of my first appointment and they said my appointment time was at 2:30 and to come in 15 min before to fill out paperwork. 2:15 I arrive and the lady rudely tells me that my appointment was at 2:00. I told her that I called earlier and the lady that answered said it was at 2:30. Another lady comes out the back room with an attitude and insists that she told me 2:00. She straight up lied to cover up her mistake. They then ask to collect an $80 co pay to be seen and I told them that I don't have $80 on me and can pay it next time because they didn't tell me over the phone that it was gonna be that much and usually my co pays are only $40. She then again insisted that she had told me that I needed to make the $80 payment when I came in. I know for a fact that she didn't tell me before. The lady was so rude that she said that they were gonna charge me $50 for a no appointment and that I can bring the $80 + $50 next time I come in! I said no thanks I will find another therapy place and I am not paying the $50. I can't believe they really expected me to pay $50 for their mistakes! They are very unprofessional and rude I am glad I found another place

Absolutely disappointed at their service…read more On July 7, SOL Physical Therapy Dublin emailed me offering a July 16 appointment at 3:00 PM. I replied the same day accepting the appointment. Apparently, no one bothered to read my email. As my appointment approached, I called multiple times, left voicemails, and sent additional emails trying to confirm. Complete silence. No one answered the phone. No one returned my calls. No one responded to my emails. When they finally decided to respond to my vm the day before my "appointment", they admitted they had missed my confirmation email. Instead of making things right, their solution was for me to drive another 15 minutes to their Livermore office because of their mistake. I'm dealing with severe sciatica and have been in excruciating pain. I waited over a week expecting to start treatment, only to find out the appointment never existed because their office failed to do something as basic as read an email. Their communication, organization, and customer service are shockingly poor. Save yourself the frustration and find a physical therapy office that actually values its patients' time.

That process didn't sit well with me because I would rather be asking what kind of care they can provide for me and if they can help me with my shoulder vs if they take my insurance. That said, thank goodness my orthopedic surgeon knew who to refer me to. VibrantCare!! James is amazing! Knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I have been seeing him for over 2 months and have seen excellent progress with my frozen shoulder. I have seen a few PTs in my life but James is my favorite thus far. He doesn't just give you exercises then walk away. He talks to you about your progress, answers questions, and spends quality time with you. I wish there were 2 of James in that office. The exercises are totally doable. He shows you what to do and how many times you do them for. They use an app for your phone to make t easy for to refer to the exercises, and it comes with videos so you are guided along throughout your care. Ana at the front desk is also awesome! She assists with the exercises to get you started while James is with a client. She is also knowledgeable and professional. What I like about Ana is she will advocate for you to receive care. There was a hiccup with my insurance as far as extending the number of visits to continue my progress, but Ana stayed on top it to get my authorization approved and get me back on track with my appointments so as not to have a lapse in treatment. Their service is not about how many people they can fit in an hour and the PT bounces around to different patients. Nope. That is not VibrantCare. They spend personal time with each client during their entire appointment tine. That's care quality! I only wish there were more Jameses at this office. Thank you VibrantCare!
