They are all professional, caring, patient and very knowledgeable. I worked with therapists April, Andy, Randall, Jessica and technicians John, Gabe, Ryann, Kayla all took care of me so well. I was suffering from shoulder pain for so long. Randall and Andy had exercises plan for me and today i Am doing work out without pain. Same with my knees Jessica and April planned for my exercises and I am able to walk again 4 miles. Over all everyone I see there worked very professionally,courteous. Amazing team, Amway positive, Motivating and attentive. They not only treat your injury but boost your confidence during recover. Lawrence Yeung is a talented personal trainer and i highly recommend him. He understands my physical limitations and issues and trains accordingly. I was hesistant to get a physical trainer because I was afraid I'd get injured. In fact, the opposite is what happened. When I had a sore shoulder, he adjusted my workout and I no longer have a sore shoulder. He understands the human body and how to develop core strength and improve overall health and wellness. I came in for shoulder rehab. The team was very knowledgeable and friendly. I've been going for 8 weeks and have gotten tremendous strides in my range of motion and pain management. Luke is extremely helpful and answers all my questions. I feel like he gives me full attention and care. What's encouraging is that they know my body better than I do! I came in to SOL after they just took over for spine and sport physical therapy. It was a pleasant upgrade from the former company. Mario, Luke, Mojo and Gabe all were helping me recover from having a micro discectomy surgery at the end of January. They listened to me, gave me exercises that challenged me safely and kept me engaged at every session. As I progressed they kept switching things up and checked in with me regularly to make sure I wasn't hurting myself. Mario also helped set expectations on returning back to "normal" life, I thought I would be back sooner and he was able to gently tell me this is a process and don't rush things. As my recovery moved forward my life started to return back to normal and it was nice having a team by my side as aches and pains arose to let me know this is common and I'm not hurting myself. I'm now back to work and playing softball which keeps me grounded. You can tell the difference between someone collecting a paycheck and someone who cares. Mario, Luke and team truly love what they do and it shows. After having bad experiences with physical therapists in the past, I would have no issue recommending SOL (and my team in particular) to anyone who is trying to recover from an injury and get back to doing life. I have been going here 2-3 times a week for nearly all of the last 2 1/2 years with a chronic ankle issue. The only PT I saw was Alex, who was the best, but she recently left. Most of the aides have been great but the system they have of working 2-3 patients at a time will usually leave you doing exercises with little to no guidance. They added a nice gym, though it didn't add much or anything to my physical therapy, definitely geared more towards bodybuilding. Much of the general therapy equipment is also worn/old. I've had issues with referrals/authorizations being poorly managed as long as I've been a patient. They will not do anything if you don't continue asking, it's all up to you to make sure they handle any paperwork. They've sat on my referrals for as long as it takes for me to contact them about it. They've had consistent issues with answering phone calls during business hours. If you're looking for continuity of care, they will be of no help. My most recent referral was sent to them 5/19, they never contacted me about it. I called twice about it and was told their authorization person would call back, still haven't called two weeks later. Same story for two years, now that Alex is gone, I have no reason to come back here. read more

Still treating here with Jessica, she is the best in my experience. Jon has moved on and their best aid has left to start PT school. The exercise portion is still the weakest link here, you'll be assigned an aid, then they will be given a second patient and bounce between the two of you. There isn't much attention or care from the aids, I have been told that the good ones don't last long. I still think some of this has to do with the bullpen design and the fact that most aids are young. Their former receptionist quit without warning and left everyone struggling for a period of a month or so. They have a new hire now and he is great, better energy, very kind. I have seen great progress here with time but haven't interacted with many PTs I would recommend. They are also still very into masking. read more

I am an elder man and have bad numbness on my right foot for a long time. My family doctor referred me to Sol Dublin. This is the first time I take part in physical therapy in my lifetime. My physical Therapist is Andrea Dimayuga. She is a very nice girl and treats me professionally. Every visit is on time. She follows up after each visit and then adjusts activities to get better results. It is a big surprise! After 12 visits, my body becomes more flexible, my balance improves, and my foot numbness greatly reduces. I am very happy to see these improvements. Great experience! read more

Been coming here for about a month now and my therapist Jess is DaBest! She's very professional and knowledgeable in what she does. After my 3rd or 4th visit I have a better range of motion than I did on my first session. Dustin and Ices (not sure if I spelled her name correctly) has been helping me with my stretches and exercises. They all are great motivators and genuine in what they do. There's parking right in front of the business. They have hand sanitizer at the reception window and they sanitize the tables after each client. Which I look for in a business because it shows that they care about your health and theirs! Went there for a shoulder issue - met Dr Toy. The evaluation and the first session was ok - nothing great. He promised to work with my insurance and set up the follow up sessions. Since then I dont hear from them for 2 weeks - Tried calling at least a dozen time - left about 5-6 messages. Not even once did I get a call back. I would not recommend this place to anyone if they are looking for some timely help. read more

Let me start off by saying you first walk in to a very kind front desk receptionist. They are all very kind and personable. All of the physical therapists and training specialists are all super kind and knowledgeable and if they have a question they would rather ask for clarification than risk having you hurt yourself in an exercise. I've done my strength training with almost everyone there and they all have great training behind them. My physical therapist, Luke, was awesome! Every week I went in he would always get the kinks out of my shoulder with ease, and although it hurt in the moment it always helped to recharge me for the rest of the week. I have nothing but good things to say about SOL. I wish I could keep going, but I'm recovered now and ready to get back out in the world and kick some butt thanks to the people at SOL. read more

Running & throwing again ... will chime back in if (no! when!) I successfully QB Turkeybowl 2018 or muster the courage for 13.1 again. The team & journey: 3 months with Michelle C. PT, DPT (now has private practice in Walnut Creek) 3 months with Kristen W. PT, DPT (the pride of Ojai!) 6 months with Chris G. PTT (Maui's nephew, sans hook and tattoos) Sessions with Jordan D. PT, DPT, Dhwani V. PT and Thien P. PTT (go Eagles wrestling!) too Lisa & Ana (super nice front desk duo - say hello with their names when you walk in! Who doesn't appreciate that?) did my scheduling, usually 4 weeks at a time and the voicemail 24 hours before each visit was super helpful. 50 visits and I (not they) got only one appointment time wrong ... they didn't punish me with a bill, just scrambled to find me a new time ASAP. Treatment (1 hour): 5-10 min warm-up 20 - 30 min hands on 20 - 25 min exercises with PTT 10 min ice or heat (state your preference - I always picked ice) Yes, that's usually more than 1 hour ... why? Bc they graciously let me come in early (for warm-up on the machines) & stay late (for ice - I'd usually do it in the waiting area bc they need the tables back for other patients) All sorts of tissue/joint mobilization, cupping, stretching, pressure-release massage, Graston scraping ... they are experts, but didn't act like they knew it all - they explained what & why for every technique and did not just ask you, but watched your body/face for non-verbal feedback. They pushed me to my limits (thank you!), but never to pain (thank you!) They gave me ever-challenging exercises and regularly asked me about my HEP (Home Exercise Program), but never shamed me (thank you!) They got me running & throwing again and I'm forever thankful. read more

I had a shoulder impingement for which I had to get physical therapy. A friend recommended this place. Called them on Jan 18th. They said that they are fully booked and the first available appointment was Feb 3rd. I asked them if I could book follow-up appointments too as they were so busy, front desk replied "It will be easier to get appointments when you are in the system. Since this is eval, it is slightly delayed". Reached at 1:45 pm for the appointment. There was music playing and no one either in the hall or the reception. Ten minutes later a lady comes by and says "Hello". When I asked if there is anyone to check me in, she replied "We are still at lunch". Neither the website nor the front door mentions any lunch time. Appointment was at 2:00 pm. At 2:05pm, the receptionist comes in and gives me forms to fill out. At 2:10 pm, Jonathan, the therapist comes over and tells me to come over even if I have not filled out the forms which he says can be done later. Jonathan did a thorough eval and is the only reason why this place is getting two stars. While Jonathan was doing the eval, the receptionist comes over and mentions that they had forgotten to provide a paper which also needs to be filled out. After the eval, Jonathan, mentions that it would be good to get two visits spread a day apart for the next 6 weeks. When I head to the front desk and request the next appointment, I am told that they are busy for the next three weeks and they will put me up on the wait list. When I remind them that I am now "in the system" and it should be easier to find an appointment they pull up an appointment with another therapist which does not work for me. The next appointment is on March 1st with Jonathan and they are unable to provide me with two appointments the same week going forward. When I ask them about it, the receptionist started getting rude and points out that she did provide 1 appointment in a 3 week period and since it does not work for me, I am somehow at fault. This is a horrible place and does not have any up to date infrastructure. They were unable to provide a printout or email me the exercises. I had to memorize them. Also, no bands provided for the exercises at home. The recommendation was to use a towel. There are several physical therapy centers in the tri-valley area. Stay away from this one, if you would like to heal your problem quickly. read more

I was having limited range of motion in my right arm. My Primary Care Physician recommended Spine and Sports PT. After about 10 sessions, my range of motion improved tremendously. The therapist were very knowledgeable. They would do about 30 minutes of muscle therapy and then 30 minutes of exercise. I now have almost (about 95%) complete range of motion. I would recommend Spine and Sports PT. Oh, almost forget -- the ladies who do the scheduling and payments were very efficient and friendly. read more

This is the first time I've ever tried PT before. And I'm kicking myself for not asking my doc earlier for a referral.... I love it! I love the staff, they are very helpful, will try to give me exercise that will help with my knee while at the same time giving me exercises that will help me improve my skating. They really listen and I've read some of the other reviews on the front desk, they have always been super attentive. Arielle is, in my opinion, the most capable physical therapist at Spine and Sports in Dublin. She worked on my 90-year-old mother-in-law who had her mobility severely limited due to arm and knee pain. Over the course of several weeks, magic happened, and my mother-in-law was able to be her normal active self. In addition to being knowledgeable about muscles and bones, she proved to be excellent at communicating with my mother-in-law, whose first language is not English. She cheerfully provides easy to follow instructions, breaking down complex moves into simpler ones. Unlike many other therapists who merely go through the motions when they have uninteresting clients, Arielle cares for young and old alike. We couldn't ask for a better therapist. The absolute best place for physical therapy! I have unfortunately had many injuries and a knee surgery but I have come here and left feeling strong again. I can't thank them enough. The staff is very knowledgeable and they have great equipment. The front staff is warm and kind. They are happy to help with any questions or booking appointments. I have personally worked with Kevin & Alex and both have helped me achieve my goals. They are so well versed in what to do to get me feeling confident in my knee again. The exercises and stretches have strengthened my knee exponentially. My mom also comes here for her rotator cuff/tendonitis and has felt relief since. I recommend this place to everyone and will not go anywhere else. They also have expanded recently and have more room, tables, mirrors and equipment! It is like a really nice gym! 10/10 read more

This facility is definitely not soothing. I have been many times for neck and lower back issues (this is the closest MediCal provider to me) and everytime the TV in the therapy room (the therapy room is one large room) has been blaring crime shows. I mean, a TV in the therapy room, who does that?? If that's not enough, the therapists yell conversations across the room to each other constantly, clients using their phone in the room are not asked to step outside and the therapists often make you wait past your appointment time while they finish up chatting with their co-therapists on the floor. My last session, the therapist talked the entire 20 minutes to a co-worker standing next to her, starting and stopping my therapy as she conversed with him. So annoying! I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I was recommended these guys by my orthapaedic surgeon because of their close proximity to my home. It's a small operation with only two physical therapists on staff (although my sources tell me that they'll soon be adding a massage therapist as well). This lends to a great community atmosphere. I was always greeted by name by the girl at the front desk, and both therapists knew everyone and it was common for a conversation to spontaneously erupt between everyone in the building. Caron was my physical therapist and she was great! She really knew her stuff and was instrumental in my recovery... I couldn't thank her enough! Kevin was the other therapist, and he seemed very nice as well. If Caron had been gone a day, I would have had no problem working with him as well. They do also offer gym services with their equipment for small fee, which is nice, because I was embarassed to lift at my regular gym after the surgery, as I had lost a LOT of strength. The facilities were clean, the staff friendly, and I would definitely go back if I had to... But here's to hoping that I don't! read more

My sessions with Kevin is probably one of the best physical therapy care I received. I was initially skeptical because they do have have a CHT (certified hand therapist). But having been seen by a CHT following my surgery, Kevin definitely knows and provides better care than the CHT I was seeing. My ROM has improved dramatically since starting my sessions with Kevin. His knowledge and pride in his profession is definitely evident. The new facility is absolutely fantastic--they even have a PILATES REFORMER! All the staff members are both professional and friendly. I appreciate them remembering my name (unlike the other place I was going to. It was like I was a new patient every time I went even after 2 months) and catering to my specific needs.
