I saw him weekly for about 10 weeks, and due to some unexpected events I haven't been able to return, but the impact of his treatments has stayed with me. I had my radial head removed and was dealing with severe nerve damage in my arm and hand. At the time, I knew his treatments were helping with inflammation and sensitivity, but I didn't fully realize how much progress I had made until recently. A week ago someone commented, "Wow, you're using that arm a lot more," and it finally clicked. In a support group for radial head injuries, someone asked about supination, and I suddenly realized I could relate in a completely new way. For almost four years, I couldn't rotate my hand palm-up or palm-down. As I was sharing my story, I looked down and noticed my palm was face down--something I hadn't been able to do for years. I sat there for ten minutes just turning my palm up and down in disbelief. Glenn's treatments absolutely made this possible. I'm incredibly grateful for the progress he helped me achieve. I will be back as soon as I can.

I've been suffering with fibromyalgia for over 10 years. And because of the treatment I've received from Glenn I no longer need to take prescription medication. I also have more energy, way less pain, and have lost 26lbs. I feel like a new person. Even though I went to him to help treat my fibro, he didn't just focus on that. But he focused on making me healthy all over. At one point I was having issues with sciatica nerve pain. One needle and the pain was gone and 8 months later it has not returned. I spent months in physical therapy to relieve that pain and never was able to relieve it. I highly recommend Glenn. You won't be disappointed.

I started acupuncture treatments with Nina a little over a month ago and have seen a difference in…read moremy overall well-being. Some things we're still working on but other things, like digestion ailments and circulation issues, have drastically improved since starting the treatments. Remember that acupuncture is NOT a once-and-done type of thing. It may require several visits and ongoing maintenance to pinpoint specific issues, like seeing a chiropractor. It all depends on what you're looking to get out of the treatments. The best approach is to start with a weekly or bi-weekly schedule and then adjust your frequency from there. If you have a laundry list of needs, getting your body fine-tuned and fixed might take a while since acupuncture is about re-establishing the energy flow from head to toe. Here are some other tips I learned that are beneficial to know beforehand... --You will feel a tiny sting (but only lasting a second to two) as each needle is inserted. But I promise you won't feel them during the session or as they are being removed. --However, you MUST remain completely motionless while you're lying on the table with the needles in you. Since they are in various pressure points throughout the body, moving an arm or leg ever so slightly could result in heavy, achy, or dulling muscle pain at that moment. --Wear loose-fitting clothes (like shorts and a T-shirt). Avoid tight jeans or form-fitting attire. This will give the practitioner easier access to your skin and make you feel A LOT more comfortable during the full hour of treatment. --Remaining still is a great time to relax and focus on breathing. Soft, soothing music plays gently in the room, which helps to put the mind at ease. It has even put me to sleep a couple of times! Acupuncture isn't for everyone, but for those who may be open to alternative healing techniques, you might be amazed at how effective it is!
