I was really disappointed this morning after always having great service here. My wife has a recall on her CRV which she had scheduled the appointment to have the recall done well over a week ago. I took off work this morning to pick her up and take her to work and as we get to Performance Honda to check in, they informed her that they didn't have the part for the recall. They told her at the check-in desk that they probably did a recall on someone's car Friday or Saturday and used the parts. Now One would think that they would at least call or text you to let you know that your appointment needs to be rescheduled, but this isn't the case. Now she has to make another appointment, but they don't know when they will have the parts in to do the recall. I mean come on this is very dissatisfying. read more

Had to schedule recall service for fuel pump replacement and front seat belts replacement. Dropped car off at 7:00 AM and did not get the car back until 3:30 PM. Was told at 10:30 AM that fuel pump replacement was almost completed and seat belts were never replaced due to defective replacement parts. Very hard to get updates from service personnel, although they were trying. They do not have enough techies and won't pay them enough to get more. Will never use their service again. read more

Dropped my car off for routine service at 2:15. My appointment was for 2:30. I'm having the oil changed, tires rotated, and the rear differential fluid changed. I just sat down with a complimentary cup of hot chocolate to wait. Drove off the lot at 3:10, with a freshly washed vehicle, but $300 lighter. Found out later(Shame on me for not checking) that one of their suggested procedures that I paid $150 for is due between 30k and 59k mileage. My car has less than 15 k. I guess it's buyer beware. I went in to buy a car from this place. The car was marked at 19,900 online, but they tried to tell me that was only if i paid cash for the car. They said if i financed the car, it would cost me 27,500. I could see them marking the car up some but that's crazy. This is a scam dealers often make more money if you finance a car because they earn money through dealer reserve and selling add-ons and can also mark up interest rates. But it's often not legal to have separate cash vs. finance prices. Don't fall for their scams. This place is a joke and will take advantage of you if you let them. I had a terrible experience there. I came in looking to buy a car. I was interested in their inventory and mentioned I wanted to look at a Toyota Highlander or the Honda Pilot. Dominic seemed annoyed I was there, annoyed I didn't come with specific pictures of the cars I wanted to look at. When I was asking questions about the features of the car his face was in his phone trying to google information regarding the vehicle. He did an outstanding job of communicating, advocating on my behalf, resolving any concerns and making sure all of my questions were answered. Supposedly had exactly what I wanted and had a test drive scheduled for the exact vehicle I wanted but when I arrived-after a 3 hour trip-I was told they didn't have the vehicle. Safe to assume it was all nothing more than to try and sell me something I didn't want. May be a decent place for locals, but if there is travel involved I'd stay away from here. While the services department was excellent and Megan was very helpful, I unfortunately for the first time had an unpleasant experience during my service appointment on 08/16, an older African American woman was standing near the refreshments that I'm regularly informed are also for customers that are waiting as well, she took it upon herself to get physical with me and grab my wrist when I reached for a piece and held onto to while rudely asking me "who are you?", "what is your name?" and "do you work here?", While another gentlemen who worked in sales stood by and seemed to find the situation to be very amusing. She then while still holding my wrist moved me in the direction back to the service department and rudely told me away. Regardless of the situation nobody should ever physically put their hands on me especially over something as minor me grabbing a pice of candy and scold me like I'm a child, I may appear younger but I'm an adult in my mid-twenties and don't need someone older grabbing me without my consent and scolding me as if they are an authority figure over me, I genuinely feel like she felt as if she could do that because of my age and appearance, anyone older wouldn't have received the same treatment, they likely would've been just told that it wasn't for them or it was only for employees. She should not have had a bowl of candy out in the same area where customers are told the may indulge in refreshments and snacks (obviously, duh) and there is a professional and appropriate way to conduct yourself with customers and grabbing someone's wrist and scolding them like a child is not the way to do that, she's old enough to know better. read more

I will never go to performance Honda for anything ever again and will tell everyone I know to never come here. Two years ago I had an issue with my ac so I took it in to get serviced. It turned out it was my compressor shaft seal and was covered under an extended warranty. Now two years later my AC goes out again, I take it back, they look at it and Keith calls me to tell me it's the same issue and that it's still under warranty and that they can fix it no problem just that it wasn't in stock and to call back the next week and check for the part. I asked if he could leave my keys up at the front desk for me to pick up since I got off when the service department closed. He told me he would, only if I left him a good review. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I call back the next week, the part is in, I drop off my car only for Keith to call me back a few hours later saying they had a second master mechanic look at it this time and it's not the shaft seal but the compressor itself and that it's not under warranty and it's gonna cost me $2,600 plus tax. I ask if there's anything they can do since they told me it was something else the first time and now they're saying it's something else because I don't have that kind of money on me and it's been 95°+ recently. He tells me we can speak to a manager. We wait a whole day no call, we call back he says we're not gonna talk to a manager, he's just gonna email the district manager instead. We wait for him for another whole day, nothing. We call back again for him to tell us that they're actually not going to talk to us at all and to just call customer care. They had my car m-f cause we were waiting to hear back from the manager only to be told no manager was going to speak to us. On top of that when I finally was able to pick my car up I got in my car only to see that my trunk is open and when I went and looked they had slammed my trunk on my blanket in the back and put a big hole in it. I ended up having to file a complaint with Honda customer care which took 2.5 weeks, they finally get back to me and tell me it's all covered 100% and to call and schedule an appointment and that I could call their service supervisor to verify all the information. I call and had to leave a voicemail for John and never heard back from him ever. I end up just calling the regular scheduling department and schedule it for pick up on my off day a week in advance. They pick up my car only for Keith to call me 4 hours later and say "I guess they forgot to order the part for your car or maybe they had it at the time and was hoping they would have enough by the time your car came in" and that it won't get fixed till the next day. No apology or anything. He then asks me who my husband is even though my husband isn't on any paperwork for my car and has only spoken to him twice out of the the minimum ten times I've had to call. After I tell him he says "oh now I remember who you are", why did it take for you to hear my husbands name to remember who I am after I'm the one who's been talking to you for weeks. He offers to give me my car back but if I took it I would have to schedule another appointment to get it fixed AGAIN. I call back later to ask if I could get a rental, and end up talking to Kaitlyn. Even after I tell Kaitlyn what had happened instead of offering me a rental she just tells me they can give me my car back. I didn't call for my car back because it's still broken. They finally give me a rental, Brianna from the rental department was great and very nice but Keith, Kaitlyn and John were terrible. Keith finally calls me the next day to tell me my car is ready for pick up and had the audacity to ask me for a good review even though "it took us a while but we got it fixed for you". You guys didn't fix anything for me. I had to call Honda myself to file a complaint after dealing with Keith and performance Honda for two whole weeks. And had to wait an additional 2.5 weeks for customer care and a whole other week for the pick up, 6 weeks total. read more

This place is an embarrassment all around. Let's start with the sale of the vehicle. The salesman I worked with was Kevin. Kevin had absolutely no knowledge of the vehicle. Every question I asked you could tell he was b.s.ing everything. During the test drive you could hear and feel the brakes grinding. When I mentioned it, Kevin said no worries we will have them replaced and fix the tire monitor sensor. The next day Kevin said they did an inspection and fixed the issues, and the brakes have 20,000 miles left in them (i have the text message). Clearly, I knew that was crap. I called them out and Kevin said it has been fixed. I went in on a Monday to finalize everything and purchase it. When I was there, I was hesitant on buying it until I spoke to Kevin and his manager who said if I leave here and the brakes have issues, they'll fix them no charge. Tuesday the brakes started making noise and the tire monitor sensor light came back on. So, I called, and they basically told me it wasn't their problem. They have given me the run around saying they'll call me back. It was fixed prior to me picking the car up etc. Long story short, they lie. I get it salesman lie that's part of their job. But I have written proof they said they would stand by their word, and they still won't so clearly, they think they can do whatever they want so for the next family/individual that wants to purchase a car. DO NOT GO TO PERFORMANCE HONDA! There are so many dealerships out there that want your business and are willing to do it in good faith. This place does not practice in good faith. Our salesman Chris was friendly, personable and patient with me while picking out my car. I got exactly what I was looking for, to a T. Dalton in financing was professional and honest with the paperwork and process. He found somewhere that would get me a loan and helped me choose the one with the lowest interest rate. I highly recommend Performance Honda to anyone in the area looking for a car. I would return to shop here without a doubt! Car is still great and I am extremely happy overall. They've tried three times in the last two weeks to fix a "check engine" light issue. Each time they've found something new wrong - and charged us (first $80, then an additional $700, now another $1,500. ) It's frustrating: because they couldn't find the problem, we keep paying and our 2009 Honda Odyssey keeps schlepping up there. Now I want to be fair to them, so I'm not going to ding them for some of the time it's taken - I know parts are hard to come by at the moment and the pandemic has made staffing an issue. And I do want to commend them for a terrific service they had in January: they literally came and picked up the car and dropped it off. And, they've given us a loaner. So there has been little inconvenience, which I appreciate. read more

I was extremely disappointed with the service I received here. This is my first time purchasing a vehicle, I have been vehicle shopping with friends and family before. I found a vehicle here, I was interested in and asked them to run my credit once (already being preappoved by GE down the street) I knew I already had a high credit score along with a low interest rate. My sales person proceeded to tell me that the best percent he could do was 14.99%, when I said no to that he then tried to convince me to put $10,000 down on a lease, along with no suggestion of a cosign. I left and never received a message from my salesman along with him not having a business card. The following day I came in to see what we could figure out financially, they ran my credit again without consent. One of the general managers came out and tried to say that my credit "has absolutely nothing to do with my interest rate". I also got a notification they made a credit inquiry about where I work rather than messaging me for a paystub along with them running my credit so many times it dropped my score 56 points. My salesperson during this entire process would leave us sitting in the lobby for upwards of 40 minutes at a time without speaking to us about what was going on. We even caught him at one point in the back talking to another salesperson and the finance manager about personal life things while we were still sitting in the lobby. read more

He lied straight up to use about how long the car was on the lot (pricing data available on cargurus.com). We asked for a detailed video of the car as we've seen TONS of terrible cars and we're two hours away. We got a link to the ad we started with that led to calling them. Due to this very poor interaction we wouldn't consider going to look at anything on Performance Honda's lot. From start to finish this business is not properly ran. This whole experience of purchasing a vehicle from Performance Honda has not been a pleasant one. From them accusing us of a counterfeit $100 bill (after we had given them $25,000 in cash is absurd) to getting the title in the mail and realizing from a letter that they also messed up our title that we now have to fix with the BMV. I regret ever shopping there, the saleswoman didn't listen, the finance guy Sean was the worst, and their general manager didn't care one bit about how everything was ran. Leased vehicle from Performance Honda three years ago. The sales lady was real nice and gave us a good deal. Just recently the lease expired and we decided to purchase. Just recently we had a recall on Honda and took it for service. Repair was two day deal and upon getting it back, apparently recall included replacing drivers side mirror. My wife noticed it was distorted and wasn't right. So the problem started. She has spoke with manager and he assured her weeks ago that he would call and correct problem. However not only has he not followed up, he won't return calls when we try to get this corrected. This is the second time in years that service has dropped the ball. My wife took her car in for minor service and they forgot to work on the vehicle when my wife called later in the day. Is this really how a reputable Honda dealer is supposed to handle customers? I am sure this will continue, we won't go back after getting this problem corrected. Hope others will check other Honda dealers that offer better service. read more

I am only giving 4 stars because I thought they should have been up front about the brakes. Here me out. For starters, Conrad in sales was tremendous. Hustled, communicated, resolved any and all issues in a timely fashion. This review very easily could have been 5 stars. Here is why...I asked if they could please be sure the regular scheduled PM be done before I purchase. They agreed. Part of this is to inspect the brakes. So, 2 weeks after we purchase, the brakes start making a very faint scratching sound intermittently. Since I had already had scheduled an appointment to have the glove box handle fixed, I called and had them add another brake check to the list. So, 1,000 miles and 30 days after purchase, their service department tells me it needs brakes all around. Wait...huh? The lady helping me said their cutoff is 4mm. I get it. But, my rebuttal was this. " if I owned the vehicle and was bringing it in for a brake check, and the brakes were at 4mm, they would SURELY alert me that it will be needing brakes soon." They could have fought me on this. The brakes were not under warranty. Conrad to the rescue again. He stepped in and worked his magic. And, they replaced the brakes at no cost to me. I see a lot of negative reviews here. Mine was positive. read more

After finally speaking with the sales manager Josh, he denied my warranty which was the platinum warranty that covers everything. He said my parts were not covered when it clearly states in my paper work that a fuel pump is covered. Now I had to take my truck to the Fields Ertel location where I sat with the finance dept and they told me that this part is covered. I tried to call Josh back and his voicemail is full along with his cell phone. They also have caller ID at the reception area where they leave people like me on hold or don't answer when my number comes up. We're going on 15 calls and over a month to try to get our family vehicle fixed. Good luck!! read more

I traded in my 2023 Chevrolet Equinox on a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. I just didn't care for the Equinox and I sure didn't like the payment! We had come to an agreement on how much they would pay me for my car. I had 3 things that I needed for this deal. 1) Payments to be under $500. 2) To get an extended warranty. And 3) To give me $30,000 for my car. We finally agreed on $28,500. The reason I asked for that much was because Carvana was going to give me $30,800 so I could've gotten more than I asked Performance! I agreed on the above price so I could get it all done at once and not have to worry about it. All was good. Or so I thought. When I got home and looked at my paperwork, they only gave me $27,600! I would very much like to thank David Berning of Performance Honda for his excellent customer service. I had a small issue with the vehicle I had just bought from Performance, and after being told by the salesman (Ryan Dorsey) who sold me the car that I was out of luck and that neither he nor Performance was interested in helping me out, Mr Berning reached out and immediately took care of the issue. Very impressive. Performance as a dealership is solid as evidenced by dedicated, professional employees such as Mr. Berning and I would recommend them highly at this point. Having said that, I would avoid Ryan Dorsey at all costs. Plenty of other salespersons on the floor that I'm sure would emulate Mr. Berning's level of concern and commitment to their customers satisfaction. Ryan Dorsey isn't one of them. read more

We test drove 2 cars. We had spoken with Terry who was supposed to meet us there. When we arrived, Terry was off. The person who helped us left multiple times to help other customers (who appeared to be friends). We were pre/ approved for 7.5 percent. They did not work with our bank, so had us reapply. My husband put the numbers into a calculator & it came out to 15% interest. The manager came out & lied to our face and said it's 10%. They were rude and said our bank was lying on our rate. We thankfully left without a car. We have done this a few times and are not stupid! read more

Last 3 times ihave been in (I have Accord, Pilot, HRV) following recommended oil change and a red light transmission fluid change. Once the jobs were completed all three mysteriously and suddenly had 1. major engine electrical failure, 2 a sway bar failure, & 3rd wheel bearings failure. Set up an appointment to look at a car with Conrad on Tuesday for a test drive on Saturday, I had some free time the next day on Wednesday so I emailed Conrad to let him know I'll be stopping by to test drive it, he never responded so I waited a few hours, I then tried calling performance Honda and no one answered, tried again and someone finally picked up, I asked to double check on the stock before I head an hour away to test drive the car, she then informed me the car sold that day. My Honda needed an oil change. Drop off was easy - once I figured out the service department is with the new car sales and not in the Auto Mall and used car sales. Good communication from the technicians. Found a seal leaking transmission fluid, video showed the engine was gating badly contaminated. Could have done without the added expense but it did look in a bad state. Payment and pickup was easy. One suggestion: the technician reported tire tread depths but not whether those depths were good, marginal or poor. Could have used that extra advice. read more

After purchase, the financing was screwed up so they emailed new paperwork for a new lender. That was the last communication we received. No title was sent, no one would take my call, the person that answers the phone is extremely rude, I had to call the new lender and request paperwork sent. The first payment was late because of this s*** s***. Now the lender wants 2 months payments! I have to go in search of a title at the BMV. The customer service is all lip service here. Once you leave, they could care less. I won't be returning to this dealership and won't be sending friends. This felt like the typical slimy car buying experience. read more

I took my ridgeline in for its 150k service. They found it had a leaking hose @the block from the radiator. Next call from them was that the connection fro the block to the hose was at fault and that was costly! After the repair, I drove away two days later when it got cold out I found I had no heat! They said we are sorry for your luck ( I paraphrase), but essentially that. Oh the service check in lady was very nice about it all! And they replaced two of those plastic damnits, I asked for, mentioned that my struts are non existent and my under carriage rusted away. Thank you Perf Honda read more
