I didn't see any adults. As I walked in the hallway, about 4 lil boys (kindergarteners) walked out a room. I asked them where the teacher or adults were. They said they were alone, no adults and that they were out picking up the other kids. I asked again and they said they were all alone. I walked around and didn't see anyone. Then, the boys went into the yard with no adult supervision. If there was an adult up front, they would/should have heard me. I could have been any random stranger roaming around. Then, adult showed up. She said all the adults are up front- which when I passed by there weren't any people anywhere. Then one worker told me she was loading her car and that's why I didn't see anyone. Nearly zero supervision and all seemed pretty dishonest. Unfortunately, I didn't feel this would be the right place for my grandson.

Neisha knows how to put on a show! From the costumes, to the stage design and the elaborate dance choreography, you will NOT be disappointed. I've firsthand experienced Kelly's speech improve, confidence on stage grow and even her social skills have seen improvement. Between being immersed in quality acting, learning all the dance choreography to music numbers, I was impressed & pretty proud to see how my sister had grown. Not to mention, it was very sweet how all the teen actors took care of her like I would. After every show, all the actors were very supportive like a tight family. While I didn't do Aladdin because I was busy graduating highschool a year early, I was backstage during showtime helping out with makeup. It's safe to say everybody was very sweet - the only drama happened in the acting :P

Very disappointed in the attitude of some of the teachers at the program…read more My daughter joined this summer for an ONLINE camp session and was constantly made to feel embarrassed and diminished being told she couldn't sing and was off key and she would embarrass herself during the performance if they allowed her to perform. I couldn't believe my ears when my daughter told me the things that were said to her. This was so out of line. She was not trying to be on Broadway. She was doing an online Zoom class during summer just to have fun and kill some time. I'm certainly not a parent that believes their child is some prodigy and wouldn't expect her to be treated any other way but fair. I do believe these people should know how to interact with children and run a program for fun and make sure kids feel welcomed. If anything it is turning her off to wanting to act more. Absolutely unacceptable and I would never let my child take part in anything they do ever again.

From the behind-the-scenes preparations to the logistics that follow, outstanding is an understatement. Davie-Blue connected with each faculty parent to learn about any dietary limitations, allergies, age group, and napping needs as necessary. She was consistently responsive and always made herself available to the parents and myself. She developed a "day camp" curriculum with appropriate coverage from her team that engaged children from ages 1 to 11 for 8+ hours! She certainly has a big heart for children and I heard such positive feedback from all the parents and children! Davie Blue is very present and magical. She takes in the childrens' ideas and honors them while keeping everyone safe and engaged. Also, we have done Davie Blue's childrens camp for both of our girls and they have come home very fulfilled from a day of creating art projects and imaginative play. This really was a once in a lifetime experience. We were credentialed Special Olympics volunteers…read moreand worked 4 separate dates during the World Games. We were in and around McCarthy Quad and Healthy Athletes tents and festival at USC conducting a Special Olympics Athlete Survey. In only 4 days, I met more athletes, coaches, translators, trainers, family/friends from around the globe than I ever have in any period of time during my life. It was an absolutely fantastic way of helping to collect important info from these incredible athletes. Working beside my son was so much fun, and watching his patience and ability to work with the athletes to complete the surveys brought me so much joy. Seeing how so many of the athletes were so appreciative to have their voices heard and participate in such a special, first ever to be done, survey was heartwarming. As an athlete myself having the opportunity to meet and speak with so many fascinating people from so many different countries, even despite the very obvious language barrier that presents itself when working any global event, was very rewarding. I would not take back those 4 days for anything in this world. I also believe it was such a great experience for my son to take part in during his summer vacation. Teaching our children to give back and how to make an impactful difference from a young age is extremely important. Here are some of the countries I had the pleasure of working with: Puerto Rico, Barbados, Canada, USA, Egypt, Finland, Faroe Islands, Fiji, Peru, China, Namibia, Nigeria, Spain, Denmark, Papua New Guinea, South Africa, Brazil, Kenya, Dominica, Morocco and more. Out of the above listed countries I have only traveled within Canada, Spain, and Morocco so meeting so many people from so many other countries was so much fun to experience in my hometown. I'd highly, highly suggest choosing Special Olympics as a positive forum to give back to. It's such a rewarding experience and the athletes absolutely love every minute of your support, encouragement, smiles and high fives! So fortunate to have been a part of this experience.

When I came across Integrity Fundraising as one of the gazillion reviews I'm seriously behind on in writing, I knew it was the best option. I came across IF and Clay, the owner, on Facebook, as I was searching for a way to fund raise that would be different, for the rescue group I co-founded a couple years back. I got in touch with Clay, and he was great about explaining the various programs they have that could help our non-profit bring in some serious coin for the kittehs we help :) We decided to go with the Mrs Fields cookie dough fundraiser, and with several people selling, we pulled in lots of orders and raked in several hundred dollars for the rescue, with very little effort on my part,, to be honest. Clay was fantastic about setting things up, and returning my calls, answering questions, and giving me an accurate turn around time for the orders to come in. He even helped me load my car, which I greatly appreciated. IF does fundraising with schools and other organizations too, I learned, and they seem to be really on it about helping out. I am looking forward to working with IF again for our next fundraiser, and thoroughly recommend them based on their level of professionalism :)
