We had our 6-year old's birthday party here (we also had his 5th birthday party here last year). Everything went great! The kids loved it. In terms of ease of having a birthday party, this is the place to do it. You can drop off your stuff and decorations in advance and they'll set it up for you right before the party. They take care of everything during the party (entertaining the kids, feeding them whatever food you brought, etc...). But, most importantly, they are really good are leading the kids in all sorts of different fun activities. We had Cassandra, Audrey, and Justin and everybody was great! read more

We did the four-week membership to try out Wild Child. I saw Wild Child when I was in Downtown Culver City and I was looking for a place for my son to work on some gross motor skills in a safe environment. From the first day I went there, we were warmly welcomed into the space by Coaches Ben-Oní, Selah, and Audrey. In the last month, I have seen my son's confidence grow in his gross motor skills. I really liked the minimalist design of the space. There are no screens, and lots of encouragement to use the imagination, which is a major plus to me! I also really liked how they had structured and unstructured times in the class. All of the coaches encourage and respect children's boundaries. They taught me to not hurry my son, and that is something I am really grateful I learned from them. Two challenges with Wild Child are around parking and timing of classes. Though there is a lot on Watseka that does free 60 min parking, it can be difficult to time parking so that there is adequate time to get in and out of class with a toddler within the time frame. Secondly, many of the classes and Free Play for my son's age range were at times that conflicted with his schedule. For the price point, I would like more options that work for us. TLDR; I would recommend Wild Child and I hope Wild Child offers more morning class times. read more

Audrey, the coach and other coaches are awesome! They led the kids and parents well providing pilot lesson since it was 40 year anniversary under Top Gun affiliated foundation or franchise. Stop scrolling! Wild Child Gym is the best....trained staff, unbeatable location, safety, and the rockin' music. They truly think of everything. Our son just had his 5th birthday at the Culver City location. Let me tell you...it was an unforgettable time. They are pros! Figure out your budget, reserve the date, discuss details like how many people and theme, and enjoy your child's big day. They even recommend local businesses to support and buy food. No pressure from any of them. They are here to support you and your child. I was worried our son and his class aged out of the place, but I was totally wrong. Our son and his 4, 5, and 6 year old friends had a friggin' blast. The parents caught a break while the kids were entertained! What else can you ask for. The party coaches were on top of everything from entertainment, passing out the food, even with gloves, telling us what we needed to do, and etc. They were engaged and truly made our son feel special. I am pretty sure other parents at our party will be booking more parties here soon so you should not hesitate. We have also enrolled in spring and summer camps. They are fantastic! You can leave your kid confidently that they are safe and happy. If you have your party there, the kids will recognize the coaches. The familiarity and connection with kids and coaches are undeniable. It showed at the party that they have fun and learn! Having the same staff is a testament of how well they run their business. Everyone from the director to the coaches have been pleasant and helpful. Because our son was a pandemic baby, we did not have the good fortune to utilize this gym. I stopped in and saw small toddlers enjoy. Just enroll. I so glad we found them, and I know you will too. They have changed our lives during camp season and now an unforgettable birthday. read more

This is less of a review and more of a thank you note to Audrey and Scott. These two are the Wild Child staff that hosted our event, and they are incredibly gifted at what they do. What do they do, you may be asking, they make your child happy. They are entertainers, artists, and fire pokers to the imagination. We recently celebrated my daughter's birthday at Wild child, and she smiled from ear to ear the entire time. Audrey made my daughter feel special, and she did so without excluding the other children. We had around 13-15 kids at the event and each one was active the entire time. I'm talking: puppet shows, parachute, bubbles, boat rides and surfing the blue pyramid. That's to say nothing of the climbing wall, the grass patch, the tunnel, and more. Audrey and Scott, thank you for making this an incredibly memorable birthday for us. I can wait to book yall for forty-... well my next birthday. You guys do adults, right?! I kid, but I can guarantee you haven't seen the last of us. Terrible experience at Wild Child. I saw a free-play class online, called three times with no answer, and drove 35+ minutes with my toddler only to be told it was "members only" -- something not listed anywhere. My little one left in tears. To top it off, the front desk staff was rude, apathetic, and completely unhelpful. Huge waste of time and such a disappointing first impression. read more

Wild Child will forever hold a special place in my heart. My son and I have been attending for 11 months now, and I can confidently say this place is more than just a play gym--it's a community. When I was struggling with postpartum anxiety and depression, Wild Child was the first place that gave me the confidence to get out of the house and do something with my son. From day one, the environment felt warm, welcoming, and safe. The coaches here are truly incredible--they don't just guide the kids through activities, they connect with them, encourage them, and make every session a joyful experience. Watching my son grow in confidence, tackle new obstacles, and build trust with the coaches has been amazing. Just recently, he swung from the trapeze for the first time and balanced on the teeter-totter beam--two things he kept wanting to do over and over because he was having so much fun! One of the most heartwarming things for me has been watching the bond he's built with Coach Ben-Oní. He trusts her completely, and seeing him run up to her for a hug--one of those warm, reciprocal embraces--just melted my heart. Everything was very smooth from the initial reservations to the day of the party and setting up for the party. Coach Audrey and Coach Sierra were super helpful and friendly throughout the process. They were there on the day of the party to help set everything up and also take care of the birthday party. We had 3 coaches help run the party. I couldn't remember the name of the 3rd Coach but she was super friendly and nice as well. My son and all his friends really enjoyed the party. Especially the highlight of the party had the end when they had a bubble dance party. Thank you to everyone at Wild child gym for making my son's birthday such a memorable one! So many age appropriate toys / equipment/ activities / games which she really enjoys, and have really helped her reach her milestones. The space itself was pretty tiny and crowded, but the trial was pretty decent since the trainers during the trial were energetic and fun, and that's why we subscribed to the monthly classes. However, during the actual classes, the trainers were lethargic and activities are very repetitive. The class times are also way too early to be useful, we had to take our kids home early from day care in order to use the classes. We later learnt that the instructor during the trial was actually the owner, no wonder. In my opinion, this place is not quite worth the price. They need better trainers and more time slots. read more

This gym has been such a wonderful resource for me and my daughter. When we're done hanging around the apartment, we take a stroll down to Culver City and spend an hour hanging out with other cuties and really positive, playful instructors. It gives us a chance to be social, meet other moms and other babies, and move our bodies. I definitely recommend this place if you're a new mom! read more

I first visited Wild Child Gym with my then one-year old about two months ago at the recommendation of a mom friend. We enrolled in the Cruisers class even though she couldn't walk yet. My daughter had so much fun crawling around, singing, dancing, and interacting with the staff. I loved the class so much, I told all my mom friends about it (and of course posted about it on my IG), and they ended up visiting and loving it too. WCG recently had a silent auction in support of the Maui fire. I won one of the gift cards, and Wai personally dropped it off at my house to ensure it wouldn't get lost in the mail. We love Wild Child in Culver City! Our child is disabled and the coaches are so great at accommodating for what he can and can't do and still pushing him to excel! It's such a great addition to his already busy therapy schedule, especially since it complements his PT. Our favorite coach is Coach Ben-Oni! We love classes best but Wild Play is very fun too! Our boy just loves gathering with the other kids for circle time and other fun activities during the classes! I highly recommend trying it out! read more

It was great for a birthday party for our friends' 2 year old boy. Kids had so much fun with the gym's staff, who came up with many awesome games. The space is really nice in that there's enough space for kids to run, and there's a cool hill for them to climb, etc. There is a separate area where you can have a bite outside of play area. There were 3 staff members engaging with the kids so the parents can hang out on the other side of the play yard and have a conversation. Ah! I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! I've been coming here since they first opened and after Covid and all that good stuff. I've celebrated my daughter birthday here and taken both of my kids to classes here. Great place to socialize your kids and meet other parents. Activities are always fun and clever. We love the puppet shows. All the staff are kind and friendly and remember your names! There is free one hour parking in the public lot around the corner. We go to the am classes so never have an issue parking in the lot and walking right over. One thing that stands out is there are so incredibly accommodating when it comes to pausing membership and scheduling classes. My work schedule changes all the time and everyone was so patient and helpful with me! Special shot out to Jackee. Sorry for all the emails. You rock! This is one of the best organized birthday parties I have attended for my son who is 2 and we have been to a lot of parties! Brian led the party and he and his staff did a wonderful job! They kept a bunch of 2 year olds engaged in many games and activities. They had parachute, a puppet show, and more! They have many items for kids to climb and crawl through as well as lots of fun secret hiding spots. I don't venture out to the Culver City area that often, but this place is definitely fun to check out if you are in the area! read more

My kids absolutely love Wild Child! The space is ADORABLE, the classes are magical, and my kids can't get enough of the fun instructors. They leave and sing the "aloha" song all week. As a busy parent, I appreciate the beautiful space to hang out in and cute store on site where I can shop while they play. My husband and I have brought our 11-month old daughter to Wildchild 2x as a trial. It's been fun each time, and we're looking forward to more time. We are working parents, and we have a nanny who comes to our home 5-6x a week. Our "only" child is being raised bilingual in Chinese, and our nanny only speaks Chinese, so we've been trying to get our kid out and socialized with some English-speaking kids. Additionally, our little baby is pretty gregarious, rambunctious, and high energy. At 10-months, she was standing and walking, throwing, and smacking. Wild Child totally embraces her personality. We've played with staff member, Curtis, 2x now and he's super delightful and fun. Does he babysit? LOL. My kid really likes him--he's got a smile as big as his heart, and has a ton of energy. What I most appreciate at Wildchild is the open space to roam and the minimalism. My baby needs space to move more than anything. At Wild Child she's able to practice walking longer distances and to move without fear of bumping into our antique furniture at home. In the 2x that we've been, I haven't quite found a child that matches her energy and hands-on, go-get 'em attitude--big difference between a 6 or 7 month old and a walking 11-month old. So I can't wait to move her into the 13 - 23-month group...maybe she's an older kid type? I hope she will make some friends one day. I'm not sure if we'll get to Wild Child on a weekly basis with our schedule, but it's fun to consider the possibilities of dropping in for play time as a family. I'm so happy that this family-owned business has moved into downtown Culver City. I hope they stay around!!! read more

First off I hate the fact that I am writing this but unfortunately I have no other choice and here we are. Not sure who handles the billing at this place but we have called not once but 6 times to get this taken care of. We recently moved and knew getting to Culver City would be a pain so we decided to cancel our membership and see what the options were for our left over sessions. Sad to say that after many calls and promises that it would be taken care of it still has yet to happen and honestly has been a nightmare.
