They helped us out by removing the furniture and plantings from our deck as I was unable to do it alone and my husband had recently had surgery. They came and power washed one day and allowed to dry and then came back and prepped the deck and prepped/wrapped the siding of the house and the windows and doors. The entire deck, spindles, rails, fascia boards and underside supports were stained as were the small gaps between the floor boards. The men came back after the deck was dry and helped move the furniture and plantings back to the deck. We have had other neighbors comment on how beautiful the deck looks! And others have asked for the contact information! We are ever thankful to Chagrin Falls Painting and will be in contact for interior painting! Our thanks

Daryl always accommodates us in a timely manner and he makes sure that everything is done the way we want it. They have done interior and exterior of our home. We had wood stained outside and it looks terrific! They take the worry out of wondering if it is done correctly because it always is. And of course his warrantee would not cover it. Advised me he would come out the following week. No show, no call and not returning messages. Have had some professional opinions and they recognized the surface was not prepped correctly after pressure washing. correctly , simply sprayed and prayed. The crew was polite and timely but not very experienced, which is why we are in the position we are in. Stay away from this company.

Our deck of Wolmanized wood was put up in 1989 and seems sound. The Final Coat Co. applied a…read morepaint-like light gray stain in 2019 that I recall them saying would last 20 or more years. It began flaking immediately. They touched it up 3 times, but it just kept on flaking. I gave up, but now we wanted to sell our house, and it looked awful (see photos). The Final Coat told me it was out of warranty and was not their problem. I offered to split the cost with them in some manner, as I realize it's been 5 years now. They told me they would only redo it for full price. I had Deck Rescue redo it, it cost $1800, and our deck now looks fine. If The Final Coat had told me it would cost $3600 to redo and they would split it with me, I would have paid them the $1800. I also think that after retouching 3 times in 2019 they should have checked back with me to see if it was alright. If you are considering using Final Coat, I would think twice about it.

He came out and shared his honest thought on what we should do. We have never had professional painters before and he walked us through what to expect. We had everything from the trim to ceiling to the doors (the doors we added after we saw how bad they looked in a freshly painted room). Our house had a ton of different dark colors they had to cover they managed to do it. They also replaced several pieces of trim work. I really liked that you don't pay upfront and you don't pay until you are happy. Also their pricing is very reasonable. We got quotes from other companies and theirs was the best. Also there team was amazing, we had a family emergency while the painter were here and they dropped what they were to help me. Skye Painting wasn't the cheapest, but Josh (the owner) had the most thorough estimate with details and explanations as to why some of the costs were a little higher. He estimated it would take close to 28 days, but we only had a 24 day window. He promised to meet our deadline and he ended up completing the entire project with a full day to spare. He did this by staying most nights until 9-10:00 and working through lunches and dinners. He was very patient as we selected colors and provided feedback when asked.
