It was Thusday 5pm... on my 4th call to get help, Blackstar picked up the phone on the second ring! Mark, the owner, took down my info and advised they'd find the time to help. He let me know, he's an honest person who runs an honest business. I agreed for him to assign someone to stop by. Meanwhile I got in touch with HOA for siding color and model. Mark, himself, came to the house and replaced my siding a couple days later. Took less than an hour! Super nice person, and very caring. Cost was reasonable and budget-friendly! I cancelled my request with home owners insurance assist and paid out of pocket. Right away, we knew he was trustworthy and running a good, quality business. Not only did he come in at almost 1/2 the sticker price of the big wig companies, the process was seamless. Once we got HOA and county permits, the project manager, Ryan took over and was phenomenal to work with. He communicated with us daily on what to expect throughout the process and answered any questions we had. The laborers were also friendly and courteous. The job was completed within the estimated time frame and met all of our expectations. There were no hidden additional costs and it was by far, the best experience with a contractor that we have ever had. BlackStar has built many of the decks in our neighborhood and comes highly recommended.

Since I had already contracted my business to another contractor I did not immediately respond. But after a second inquiry asking for an opportunity to solve my issue I did respond that the job was already arranged with someone else. I am very pleased to know that the posting of my displeasure of their seeming disinterest precipitated a genuine response and willingness to correct what might have been simply a "dropping of the ball" I will consider Alger Deck and Fence in future for their help with similar transactions. The owner, Misty Foxley, backed out of our contactual agreement for a one time deep clean and every…read moreother week cleaning after they completed our initial deep clean. Ms. Foxley inspected our home, did a thorough assessment (so we thought) and was well aware that we had six dogs. Based on her supposed professional assessment she elected to enter into a contractual agreement for a one time deep clean @ $440.30 and every other week regular cleaning service @ $151.80 per cleaning. Ms. Foxley had every opportunity to NOT enter into a contract based on her own professional assessment, but instead gave us the terms mentioned above and scheduled our deep clean for 2/5/24. After her 4 person team completed the deep clean on 2/5 we also gave them an $80.00 tip, bringing our total cost for the deep clean to $520.30. On 2/6/24 we got a call from Ms. Foxley to notified us that Total Clean Freaks would not be returning to do any further cleaning due to the dog hair and the wear and tear on their vacuum cleaner. Ms. Foxley did her own inspection, assessment and pricing and still backed out on our mutually agreed to service contract. Let this be a warning to other potential customers. Ms . Foxley and Total clean Freaks are not a reputable company and may back out on the agreed to services .

Years after they completed my roof, Ken still went out of his way to help me with an issue caused by my neighbor's roofing job.
