I had heard about FT for several years but had never taken the time to visit one. After several…read moreyears of joining gyms and accomplishing very little, I finally decided to give them a try. SImply put, working with a personal trainer made all the difference in the works for me. I had tried some of the trainers at the gyms, but they just do not compare to the staff at FT. I joined in January and 5 months later can say that I can see and feel the difference. By no means is this an inexpensive endeavor, but "you get what you pay for" would definitely fit the bill here. I work out 3 times a week with 2 different trainers and could not be more pleased with their knowledge and attention to detail. I still have more to accomplish, but I finally can feel that something is happening!

The staff is super friendly, very knowledgeable and they made exercising fun. I was greeted every time with a smile. The facility is very clean. My personal training sessions were with Kevin and I enjoyed every one of them. Kevin made it interesting and fun. He is very knowledgeable and professinal. I had one group class with Kacey and I enjoyed that too very much. I give Aaron and his staff 5 stars.

Anyways, Jennifer is an amazing personal trainer and motivator. Her personal training sessions are energizing and make you feel like you want to come back (which is like half the battle for me)! She motivates you from within and makes you feel empowered with the decisions that you make. I'm a stay at home mom so it's hard for me to find time to work out and it was so easy to schedule with her. I haven't been able to make her group classes but I'm so eager to join them. I hear they're really fun! You're in really good hands with Jennifer if you decide to get in shape and change your life!

Out and about running errands, I decided it was time to get a workout in. This isn't my home club,…read morebut the Black Card makes it simple to drop into any Planet Fitness in the network. Parking was easy in the large strip mall lot. I even noticed another RV tucked off to the side and wondered if they were staying overnight. I'm not in mine today, but it's something to keep in mind for future trips. Inside, it was a quick scan of my membership and straight to the locker room. This is a big facility with plenty of stair steppers and treadmills all lined up facing a wall of televisions. After changing out of street clothes and into workout gear, I stretched a bit and then spent some time on the treadmill watching a Law & Order episode before moving on to curls and lifts. There's enough equipment here to make everything feel easy and comfortable. Back in the locker room, I grabbed a quick shower. The changing cabin was roomy, and the shower had lots of hot water, though the pressure dipped now and then when a toilet flushed. Shelf space was limited for a razor and other things, but still better than some PFs I've used. I wrapped up in the Black Card spa, which was a comfortable place to wind down and check my phone before heading out. I'm not a tanning bed person, and one of these days I really will try the hydrochair. And with an appetite building, it was time for lunch. Ana was put in my life over a year ago after my breast cancer diagnosis. It was caught early and removed, but I needed to learn how to heal myself and how to take care of my heart, body, and mind for the future. Fast forward a year I have achieved my personal goals and beyond. She is beyond a Physical Therapist, Coach, and Healer. I consider her a friend and one of the main tools in my toolbox. She changed my life, and my relationships with my family, friends, and strangers have changed because I have. Everything has so much more meaning and joy each day. She will teach you how to listen to your heart (intuition, gut instinct, etc.) and to trust it. I have learned how to embrace my female energy (I was raised to use mainly my male side) and to accept that life is a rollercoaster of feelings and how to deal with the ups and downs head-on. To feel is to live, good and bad. To know the bad times are just moments and they can pass like a cloud was invaluable. I could write for hours and not repeat myself on the benefits of seeing Ana.
