First, he tried to service my vehicle hoping to obviate the need for a tow. Then, after confirming that a service mechanic needed to diagnose the problem, he took extra care to ensure my vehicle would not incur any issues as a result of the tow. When he realized we were 50 miles from home on a Sunday afternoon in rural Virginia, he offered to take us home--knowing that it would be hard to get an Uber on a Sunday evening. I have so many positives to share about this towing company. I had a flat on 95, during RUSH HOUR. Quite the Monday! I was able to pull over to the shoulder and the flat was on the driver's side. It wasn't safe to exit the car so there was no way anyone would be able to change it on the driver's side of 95 with cars speeding by. I called AAA who prioritized me since it was considered a dangerous location. Someone from performance towing pulled over immediately and offered to tow me. He was patient while I called AAA to confirm that the tow would be eligible for reimbursement. I even handed the phone over so he could speak with my husband who had a million questions. My car was already loaded on the truck by the time AAA called to let me know they were 15 minutes away. The man was friendly and we chatted during the 40 minute drive. Well, I misplaced the receipt that I needed to be eligible for reimbursement and here's why this company deserves 10 stars... I called two weeks later and spoke to someone who said while they cannot guarantee anything, to send an email with the requested information since the books have been handed over to the owner. Excellent customer service! These guys quoted us 45 minutes and were there in 30. We had our F-250 diesel stop running and were in panic mode. Not only did they tow the truck they took the time to try and figure out what was wrong and Their disagnois was correct. With a church group of x12 ,our van broke down around 11:45 at night on 66 out near Winchester. We had no cell service and were in the middle of no where. Luckily a tow truck from performance towing saw us and pulled over offering assistance. Problem was there were x12 of us. The driver got on his radio and made a call to his boss to see if there was anything they could do to help us. 30 minutes later the owner of the company, Sean, showed up in a passenger van, and offered to take us wherever we needed to get. We opted to have him drop us at a hotel in Winchester down the street from the shop where his driver took our van. Sean refused to take any additional payment for the ride and was only concerned that we got where we needed to be. Seldom have I ever received a favor like this from a complete stranger, let alone in the middle of the night. God bless you Sean, you and your driver are amazing human beings!
