Was planning to try out a newly opened restaurant at SM North EDSA, but it was fully booked with standing line. Whilst walking around, I ended up at Peri-Peri at SM Annex.
At the first page of the menu, I was attracted to the broccoli soup, so I ordered it. They do offer bottomless soup by adding a minimal amount. You get to choose broccoli or pumpkin.
Eating alone is boring. I wanted to try a lot of things but don't have the stomach for it. For the main dish, I ended up asking the recommendations of the server, and she suggested Fernando's premium chicken fillet basted in olive oil.
So for the verdict, the soup is hot, fragrant, and tasty. Obviously, it is instant, and at Php49, you don't really expect much. As long as its hot and flavorful, its good. The chicken was really good, although I was surprised of its spiciness (not reading the menu properly), the boneless chicken is tender and tasty. It went well woth the java rice and complemented the provided coleslaw which pacifies your burning tongue.
Servers are attentive and accommodating. Price is ok. Will definitely be back to try other items. The only downside of the entire experience was that they were serving using chipped/cracked utensils. read more
