    Quesadilla

This Mexican restaurant was next to our hotel.. my wife ordered the chicken quesadilla and I ordered a beef chimichanga. We also ordered the cheese dip. Everything we had was very good. We were waited on promptly and the Food came quickly. It was reasonably priced.

Eh not the best food actually only 2 of our party of 5 liked their food. Was out first time so we know. Not that the food was bad but it's not the kinda Mexican food we are used to. 2 stars for the strong AF rainbow margaritas. You should stop and determine if you like the flavor. Great service

I am not sure if this location will stay in business much longer. We went on a Tuesday night - Taco…read moreTuesday - and were the only people there. In fact, I think our waitress was also doubling as cook and bartender. She appeared to be alone and did at least do a good job given the circumstances. The tacos here are really good. I had one with pork belly and grilled shrimp, another with brisket, and one with shrimp. They had lots of stuff filled in them and great sauces, but even with the 3 taco combo deal they were $6 each. The little side dish of dry rice didn't really count for much in my opinion. And they charge for chips and salsa! Here's the bigger problem besides being empty on the busiest night for most places that sell tacos - this location literally shares a parking lot with a much larger Mexican restaurant called Pedro's. And you know what? Pedro's gives you chips and salsa for free. They have a much larger menu and better prices on literally everything. PS Taco would probably do better in a more open location where their competition isn't right next door. I liked what we had, but it was way overpriced and the value and atmosphere just wasn't there.

Not worth the price. The tacos while good are small and when we got home turned out cold, mind you…read morewe live 5 minutes away. $14 for two small tacos and a cold side of rice. if it was hot and/or bigger then it wouldnt be a problem.

You're being asked to decide how much to tip before you've even received any service. It's essentially the same process when ordering in person. So, what is a reasonable or fair tip for someone to put your food in a container and make sure the order is correct? I understood this during COVID, when takeout was often the only way restaurants and their staff could make a living. But we're well past that, and the practice has remained. Why should I pay $7 for a coffee and then be made to feel guilty if I don't leave an additional tip? Tipping was traditionally a way to recognize good service. When did simply preparing and handing someone their order become an extra service requiring an 18% tip? I'm sorry, but making 18% the lowest suggested tip unless the customer selects "Other" is excessive. It can actually leave customers with a negative impression of an otherwise good experience. A much more reasonable setup would be 10%, 15%, 20%, and Other. Give customers the choice without making them feel pressured. Tipping also traditionally helped supplement the income of waitstaff who were paid a very low tipped wage. If the same tipping expectation now applies to counter-service employees, are those employees being paid the same tipped wage as servers? If so, that raises a different concern. Again, the food is good and the staff is friendly. My issue isn't with the employees--it's with a tipping system that increasingly makes customers feel obligated to tip before they've even received the service they're supposedly tipping for.
