When we mentioned liking the ice cream they offered a sample, then a full portion! The meal was perfect too! We both got the chicken kabobs and accompaniments. It was so fresh and delicious! The freshness of the produce and meats here is next level! The mango ice cream at the end was a wonderful way to end the meal. I got the sayur sayuran (mixed vegetables) dish and was kind of disappointed to learn that rice wasn't included with the mains. When the food came, they placed the dish on this little grill on the table. A nice touch, but I thought it was kind of unnecessary. The dish itself was okay tasting but very bland. Service was prompt but the prices are rather high. I will say, though, that since I am a vegetarian, I didn't get to try any of their meat dishes. Maybe that's where they shine instead?

Meh to Ice Bandung - this is a cordial-like drink with rose syrup and condensed milk but I hardly tasted the former. That qualified them for 3 stars. An additional star: Staff were very attentive and gracious when my stray arm hit the glass of water which went flying across the table, and immediately replaced it as well. Will come back here again - hopefully the restaurant sees this review and change the recipes to the dishes to make them more authentic.

We did indeed have those olives and some pita bread for the road. The pita bread was so soft and fluffy, and also stayed warm throughout our night. The olives were marinated to perfection, and we recieved a healthy amount! It's an absolute bargain as it's HUGE. Actually much bigger than the ones you get in India. It's a hearty meal - not one for a low carb diet, yet it still doesn't feel stodgy as there's so much veg in there, you can just feel the goodness. The staff were friendly and approachable and the place itself is clean, tidy and spacious.
